How I make char cloth?

How I make char cloth? It’s simple, ideally 100% cotton is what you should go for but I find denim to work well, I know it’s a mixture between cotton and some synthetic materials but I have found that it works well.
A tin with a hole some denim and a fire along with a cutting tool and a little stick provided by nature is all that one needs to make some char cloth. The timing is probably the hardest to master but even if you do not get it first time at least you learn as you go along so do small batches until you perfected the method.
One might say that char cloth is not a natural material found in nature so therefore it might not be tied in to bushcraft but the skill in its self is defiantly worth having as you could char other materials commonly found on the forrest floor. For fire making char cloth is ideal may it be for survival or recreational bushcraft. If you ever used flint and steel or fire piston you will understand how important this material is.
For me it is important to keep these skills alive and even more to pass them on to people that seek to learn them so I do hope you enjoy it and get some value from the video.
