Woodturning - Fifty Shade of Grey

Woodturning and incredible little pot utilising some left over olive wood cuts and epoxy resin. Used different shades of greys and carefully mould them together after several hours left on the side to start the curing process and to help colours not blending much. As you can see inspiration can come from many different sources :) Sanded to 600 grit and used Rubio Monocoat for food safe protection. Also allows grains and colures the pop beautifully

Some of those shavings flew out like a Superbowl post game confetti cannon.
Beautiful piece. I was hoping to see a red maybe glittery or iridescent hue. I think that wood would have worked well with it, but no denying it’s a great piece.
