I love woodturning all sort of different projects using wood on its own or mix with epoxy resin to get some real awesomeness and unique handmade projects, ranging from wooden vases / bowls to resin dragon egg or hybrid spheres. Whether is wood turning or woodworking I am super passionate about it, how a simple piece of wood can be turned into a magical art and would like to share with my CZcams audience. I will post weekly videos to keep you all entertained, inspired and hopefully to encourage you to make your own DIY handcrafted creations. 😊

Woodturning - Can you turn BARK?
Woodturning wood bark into a rather interesting and weird project. Casting the bark in to epoxy resin then turned on my woodturning lathe into a milk cup. Used food safe epoxy resin as my coating layers.

Can you use any 2 part resin as a finishing coat? Do you worry about pooling resin on the inside when you apply the finish coat? Do you leave it spinning on the lathe to cure or just spin it to apply the resin coat? I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you.
