Did you cover the game stop exclusive premium collection box I think they’re going to be stamped differently than the other boxes I’m not too sure .
Yeah I don't know how I feel about this set not having booster box:( and 120 for the premium collection
FYI, Gamestop in-store only are accepting (while supplies last) starting Friday, 16th of June preorders for the UPC 151 (max of 4) at $5 per preorder. The $5 is refundable, but it will count towards the MSRP charge of $119.99 per UPC. In addition, on October 6th (For Gamestop) you can go in-store to buy your preorders you reserve and either pay cash or use your card. They will hold your reservation starting the 6th for 48 hours. Hope this info helps.
Smart move by GS to not advertise this on their site as you must make your reservation in person.

That “minimalistic” design on the poster is not just a design.
That’s one of the original posters from the OG series. I had that same poster growing up and I used it to mark all the Pokémon I caught on the original Red/ Blue gameboy games.
You’re right. That poster alone is worth the money. The nostalgia value alone.. I was big into Pokémon from 8 to about 12.. I’m 33 now.
Honestly this set is so appealing to me as a Gen 1 guy :D I will for sure collect this set. It looks so good and not a crazy amount of cards is perfect.

I'm starting to collect Pokemon cards for the first time in my life. The only pack I ever had was a single Fossil pack with Aerodactyl art from 1999 as a kid. As a kid I used to collect Pokemon tazo that were available for several years in Poland in Lays and Cheetos packs, every single kid had some of them back then! I'm super happy of 151 collection coming out in September and being my first set to buy, because it's the most nostalgic gen for me together with some of Johto Pokemon. I have my Vault X binder ready and I'm getting more hyped every day! My wife and kids are getting into Pokemon now too because of me. :)

After this set that’s it for a long time (as far as going in on new sets).. I will take my time buying 151 singles and saving money so I can focus more on my family and possibly taking them on a family vacation … the amount of money I spend on Pokémon , I can definitely afford to take a vacation lol I can care less about anything after gen 3 . But gen 1 has my heart ♥️ This set is definitively for me 😅

I love smaller sets like this where it’s actually attainable to get all the cards you want. I preordered 2 Pokémon Center ETBs, 2 booster bundles and one of the binder collection boxes. Would love to get some Japanese product too for those master ball reverse cards but I’m not willing to pay $130-150 per box, hoping that price calms down in a few months especially once the English set is released and Japanese packs aren’t the only option to open cards from this set anymore

I was able to preorder 3 PC ETB's. 1 to open and 2 for sealed. Normally I only get 2 but this set is gorgeous! Love that there will be a binder product too. UPC also looks hype! And booster bundles make sooo much sense for just straight ripping.

Given these prices, wouldn’t it be a good idea to use a proxy to just order a 20 pack bundle from pokemon center japan now? Isn’t it like $40 for a booster box over there, though not including the proxy/shipping fees to US?

is the 151 binder only made for the 151 pack cards or also for the paldea evolved or other scarlet and violet set?
Update early 2024 Booster bundles are about $40 a piece now, ETBs are probably the best way to rip booster packs. Or scoop up a booster box display bundle for about 350 (10 booster bundles)

I was able to get one ETB, one Booster Bundle, and the Binder Collection box.
I wanna get the Poster Collection box, both the Zapdos and Alakazam EX Boxes, and of course the Ultra-Premium Collection box but we'll see if one of my local stores gonna have that on shelves. Badly want that bad boy. I might pass on the Mini-Tins till I see what the pull rates are on those. Right now I think the best value is the Booster Bundles, but I believe the best pull rates are coming from the ETB.

not gonna lie, still struggling to complete the crown zenith set and i have bought quite a considerable amount of packs. Even with double bangers, still need a lot of the 'rare' stuff
Not sure Pokemon 151 is going to be easy to complete as that's the whole point, get you buy more packs. I'm reserving judgement on pokemon 151 as there is alot of fomo here and is pokemon preying on that.
The Mew box looks great since you are getting solely 151 packs and not a mix of other sets, better chance of getting hits hopefully.

Any idea on whether the included art cards that match each mini tin are ACTUAL cards? From the press release: "Scarlet & Violet-151 Mini Tin Collection (available Oct. 6, 2023): Includes two Scarlet & Violet-151 booster packs, one coin sporting one of 10 unique styles featuring the various Energy type symbols in the Pokémon TCG and one art card matching the tin"
Yes, the tins usually has a card that matches the art. But these cards are not true pokemon cards and more of a side addition

I could have preordered everything on this list. I only got a couple a pokemon center etbs ordered. I’m worried that the upc will drop below msrp like the charizard upc did. Especially because pokemon company announced it would be print to order. But pokemon center should never go below msrp.
The reason why booster bundles don't sell out as fast on PC is because they're more expensive then you're going to see at other retailers. The PC ETBs sell out because they're exclusive.

So glad the Korean version just released and we got booster boxes containing 20 packs x 7 cards and it's just about 40 USD 🥺🥺
