9:21 reminds me of something I read once. It was absolutely terrifying. It was formatted like a manga, too, so that just made it worse. I don't want to look for the link, so I'll just summarize it.
So, this guy on an archeological thing finds a weird thing. It's a human skull, but the earth around it has formed noticeable layers. That put a curse on his family. Layer on in his life, he gets a wife and has two daughters. Something happens to him. I think he died. I forget. Anyway, the mother and daughters get into a car crash. The youngest(the mother freaking loves her btw, that's important) basically gets part of her face sliced off by a sign. Except, there's another layer of skin under that. Turns out, when she grows, it's literally just skin growing on top of itself. She has no organs. Just skin.
So, the mother goes absolutely fricking crazy and cuts away all of the daughter's skin until she gets to her two-year-old form. Except, she doesn't end up looking like a normal two-year-old. She looks like a stick figure. The mom proceeds to slice part of her own face off, but it just hurts her badly cuz the curse wasn't put on her.
The oldest daughter has to take care of them. And that's where it ends. It was absolutely amazing, but I hated it
