Needless to say, working with your brother is priceless!
Me and my brother used to work on vehicles and rebuilt a couple together when we lived together. But he moved out when my mom passed away and since then we haven't worked together. He does it himself and when I offer or ask to help he turns me down. Makes me sad because those were some of the best times
@Master Bates sorry to hear that man. Family can be tough sometimes. I know this firsthand :/
Praying that your relationship be restored.. God is good, even when life doesn't always seem like it.
63 was the best year of that generation. Definitely my favorite. I Also own one and love it. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
To be honest I've been hoping to see more on this truck that's what brought me to this channel.
Rudy's dreams were shattered when he saw his brother wanted a lowered truck 😂
From us folks living in the middle of the rust belt, that pickup is really clean. Should be a fun project to watch come together.
It really does not look bad, but you really never know until you start cutting into it..
was going to comment that Rudy you call that a rust bucket
right! i laughed when he called it a rust bucket lol
Im happy for you Kaulin. This is your time for this 😎
The second one was…. BAD ASS !!! …. Can’t wait to see the finished product !
You're so lucky to have a brother that wrenches or at least is into cars. Great stuff
I think you brothers are awesome working together. Making things happen. Good bless ❤️🙏🙏👍👍🌟🌟❤️
This will be a great mix with the other 4x4 content, and adventures.
Love the 63! Even tho I'm more of a 4x4 girl, I definitely agree with the bagged 2wd direction.
Things like this makes me wish I had siblings :)
"It's about the adventure, it's about the design" Bingo. Looking forward to the build!
So stoked on the direction of this build. Anxious to see it come together.
I cant wait to see more of this build, I dont care how many wheels have power going to them as long as Kaulin is happy at the end of it.
The Suburban is a great idea. Excellent base to build on.
Glad you added keeping the frame. It was my first thought when the donor truck appeared.
Will enjoy watching the build. Let the learning and fun begin.
for air bagging....the frame thats under the truck right meow is the easiest frame to bag seeing how its coil spring front and rear, pull coils and slap bags in
I think if it was mine, I'd just clear coat this beautiful old truck. This has to be one of the best-looking trucks to come out since 1960. No other truck holds up to the lines on this truck. I can't wait to see this beautiful girl finished. The things y'all are planning for it sounds amazing.
This is going to be a fun build. Best part is the two brothers working together on it!!!!!!!! What a great family.
We all had that " dream vehicle " growing up. Its awesome rudy stepping up and helping his younger brother. Great family.
Love the 60s and 70s Chevy trucks. Looking forward to seeing more of the project.
I watch for the off road content but I’m definitely intrigued to see y’all build this.
Stop me I'll keep going lol .
I think he has a amazing idea on what he wants . And your there with him to help him along the way through it . Can't wait to see the finished work .
Sooooo looking forward to this build!! It's gonna be awesome! That truck is cleeeeeeeean by Norwegian standards. We have A LOT of rust on our cars because of the climate and the excessive use of road salt in the winter.... I cannot wait to see this truck bagged, slammed and turbo'd!! Love it!! You'll have to call it The WASP, BLUE WASP, HORNET, HORNETS NEST or something like that because of all the wasp nest inside it. Good luck to you both!! Best brothers in the world!! Best regards from snowy Norway!!
Looking forward to seeing the *dream* come to reality...!
Looking forward to this build! I had a '66 that I had planned on building when I was in my twenties, but I didn't have the money and wound up selling it.
I am stoked! Looking forward to the LS swap, make it do an 8 seconds quarter?
THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT! LOVE OLDER TRUCKS!!
This sounds an epic build, looking forward to it
These early sixties pickups are great yes the choices with a pickup he's either you jacket way up in the air or you dump it all the way down on on the ground can't wait to see what it looks like great job guys keep
Stoked to see this build happen. Brothers got a 66 he’s restoring currently
Rudy & Kaulin remind me of me & my brother David working together their's nothing better, can't wait to see this beauty ring on LS power, great video guy's thanks for sharing God bless ❤😉👈
Wether you accomplish your goal or not ,30 years from now it'll be a sweet memory.
And ready for another iteration.
this is going to be a great swap out, you can get all the 60 parts on line to fix most of the problems he has. have fun
I love you guys. I'm here because of MORR but it's so cool that you are such a close family and doing this together. I'm not a truck guy but I can't wait to see the finished product...and all the in between build.
I’m anxious to see the C10 progress! love this channel!
This will be a good project beautiful truck reguardless of what it will be finished well done boys can’t wait to see this series
You're whole family is amazing BUT to do this for and with your brother is priceless! Thank you for sharing this build.
I'm looking forward to seeing the progress on this rig!
Love this project. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
Name it “ The Green Slug”, also if you have the opportunity on the 5.3 is change out the rear main seal. Otherwise everything else should be fine.
Looking forward to seeing the build! I wish I had a brother to do cool things like this with. 🤣 Also, my first truck was a 2003 Silverado 2WD short bed standard cab with a 4.8L LR4 LS engine. I loved that thing and regret every day getting rid of it. So needless to say, I have a soft spot in my heart for 2WD trucks.
This is gonna be an exciting journey. I'm not into bagged trucks at all, but the build process I am addicted to and that goes for basically any rig. This truck is gonna be epic and a great Adventure.
This is going to be an awesome video and succession just to see the 2 brothers working together, such a good thing!
The quality from this camera is stunning.
Rudy your brother and you as well will never forget the memories much respect ,my big brother passed away and due to a stroke@43 and no longer able to work on cars/trucks this brings me much joy and definitely looking forward to more videos thank you and God Bless
Can't wait to get started on this build!
My older brother had a truck like that many years ago. Looking forward to this build. Great to see family taking care of each other.
❤ The new shop gonna be baptized with Bro's bagger build 👍😎✊
I've been wondering about the truck. I think it's very cool that Kaulin's dream truck is one that's older, rather than something more modern.
Going to be soooo sick! Nice change up seeing a low rider build 🤘
The brothers build..love it....can't wait to see the process
this truck brings back memories of my 1st ride. a '60 Chev. short bed stepside with a '65 hood. my dad's truck. 6 cyl, 3 speed with a Mr. Gasket floor shifter. no power steering, no power brakes, and the heater only worked on 'defrost' and it was either off or high. it got a 2-tone spray can paint job (dark green & light green metallic.... yuck!) and a set of recapped 8-ply bias-ply mobile home tires on home-built 14 1/2 inch wheels. yes, i said fourteen and a half inch wheels, the tires had 'For Mobile Home Use Only' on the sidewalls. illegal on a pickup truck, but nobody seemed to care. the windshield was busted, the steering wandered, the engine smoked heavily, the trans rattled and the rearend howled .... but it got me back and forth to school and work in 1974.
good luck with your build Kaulin, you're starting out with a better ride than i did!
My brother had a 66 c20 to play with for a while. It was at that point I decided that mid 60s Chevys (and GMCs!) are the best example of age versus style. Kudos for the gift for your brother, The build is not exactly where I would go with it, but if everybody had the same tastes, things would get boring. Regardless, it's nice to see family projects. Keep it up. Peace
So happy to see Kaulin’s project in the channel again! I was beginning to wonder about that. Now, I admit fully that I cannot see what Kaulin sees in the that truck.. but I am so stoked for you guys to be working on it together. About 10 years ago, I offered to restore a ‘67 Mustang GT with my son as a father-son project - my son was 17 at the time. He turned it down … when his friend found out… his friend literally lost his mind and said ‘Adopt me!’ LOL.
And I guarantee your son will eventually regret saying no to your offer.
It took me to get to my 30s before I started a project with my dad. Wasn't into it when I was younger. We're doing a 1954 ford f100. Original frame and body but with a 5.0 from a 91 mustang in it.
@@georgealexanderp Good for you. And I'm glad he's still with you so you can do it.
Late but adopt me! My dream car is a classic Mustang. I’ve been wanting to restore one but most of them around me are rusted out and I’m in college so don’t have the funds to restore a car. Hoping one day I can
That's awesome that you're taking the frame and engine out ,because with that you'll have the brakes and everything. You guys could use the dash and parts of the floor pans. Plus with the bed you can use 2x6 and start from the middle using those pieces of metal from in the bed , put them in between the 2x6's . But stain the wood before putting it down and paint the metal rails . This is going to be a great project. I can't wait to see it getting built.
Always try your best to make time to do the family thing while you're young, it's a very scarce commodity when you get older.
Good job guy's looking forward to the build.
I find it heart warming that the two of you have a genuine healthy relationship. It will be interesting to watch this build. Thanks for sharing a look into the future.
Stay safe healthy and happy 👍
Can’t wait to see you guys work on it!
My granddaughter is happy you're going to keep the patina.
Hope you two really enjoy this project and working together on it. Even if it is 2 wheel drive. 🤣
I like the diversity in the builds. This one is gonna be sick!
I watch because of the mechanic work all the way around love all of it hot rods, off-road, Rock bouncers and drag cars
I'm one of those guys who watches for the fabrication and the journey to the final project. Can't wait to follow this beauty get built!
Nice that you are keeping the patina and adding flashy wheels.
I'm sitting in my car watching this while my wife is at a doctor's appointment. That trucks exhaust in surround sound is awesome!
There's my other little buddy and that very cool truck that I've been waiting to see again . But even better. I get to see but all together man . Very very cool 😎. Thanks for sharing 👍
Just became my favorite build on you tube. Hopefully it gets Detroit Steel wheels.
Wish you guys were putting out more videos, love watching your content Rudy!
✌🏼🙏🏼From Lake Havasu!
Loving this brotherly project and this classic truck!
Hi Rudy, the videography is much better, glad you fixed the jerky/jumpy issue!
Im all in watching this project. Right up my alley!! Don’t forget the rear, maybe narrow it while u have it apart to put some big ole tires on her. 💪💪
It's wonderful to see an update on the '63! I've been wondering about it for months, anxiously awaiting more of the build. Much love and respect and God bless.
my first truck was a 1962 chev. Rusty is an understatement!!!! have fun with the build -
4x4 or all wheel drive would be sick
Cool to see young guys building such beautiful old tin. Great choice!
I'm start a 66 suburban with c4 corvette suspension and turbo ls 5.3 and thanks to your dad he made my job easier by getting his old lift
wish I could even be in the same room as my brother. great job Rudy.
2wd, absolutely!!! This is going to be sweet!!
Good plan. That will be a sweet truck when finished. Looking forward to the build series.
When I was working in the body shop we took the front bumper on a older chevy truck welded the bumper bolts from behind , then ground the heads off the front and welded them flush finished it off and painted it the same color as the truck looked very cool.
I love that truck! This is my favorite project you all have done!😊
ooh cool .. glad Rudy is getting to this project
"This is about Adventure". Yes !
Cool project guy's, I can't wait to see it get started.
Hey Rudy & Kaulin !!! Lots of work ,but it'll pay in the long run with you 2 working together !! Lots of Parts Suppliers still have the body parts you need & wood for the bed shouldn't be hard to find either !! 🤔🤔🙄👀👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
If you will build it, they will come. Go boys go!
Awesome Guys! Looking forward to seeing what you guys do to it!
this is gonna be badass! Call it "Blue Burb". as in blue, and burban drive train!
Best of luck to you guys. I'm so excited for you guys the memories you on this will be priceless. I can't wait for the next video. 👍
As a little guy in the sixties my dad had 5 of that generation. He got them from the state and the county when they updated. I always liked that generation of C/K.
With that one being the more refined (hood and windshield) of that gen it will look good the direction you are headed with it (dropped and bagged). I always thought the the 60 thru 63 look good as 4×4s.
THAT would be a great SECOND project !
🤔 👍🏻
Ambitious project . so one step at a time. Thanks for sharing .
Stroked LQ4 w/ twin turbos through air to water intercooler and a moderate cam.
Truck go BRRRR
No worries about not a 4x4 it’s about creating a dream . Sweet
Two brothers with different tastes but working together 😊
Can't wait to see this project get underway soon.
Doesn't matter to me whether it is 2 wheel or 4 wheel drive it's about the work and fun of designing and building it. Darn good videos Rudy. Keep 'em coming.
Nice to see that car again! and hear the plan
Know I can learn watching you guys.👍
The front bumper looks really good.
