- Today were pulling the shell off of a 2004 Chevy suburban. We are going to use the frame and motor for a donor for Kaulins 1963 Chevy C-10, the updated frame, suspension, and motor has about 40 years of added technology than the C-10 for a more comfortable and better performing ride.
Thanks for watching!

I love the C10, even better is watching brothers working together to make the dream truck a reality.
Do u have more video on your 63 chevy pickup
Really looking forward to this build. Can't wait to see how it turns out. I'm sure it's going to be RAD!!! 👍
"Dude! Your not Superman". That was hilarious! Great project for y'all to work on together. Can't wait to see it all unfold.
Great to see brothers working together 👍
Rudy I’m glad you two are modifying the truck together. Cherish the time together.
U bet ❤😊
😂 look on kaulins face when Rudy pulled fuel neck off fuel tank lol older brother strength lol. You guys rock love seeing family work together.
That is awesome. Keep up the good work. I love working with my brothers, but I wish I would have done it more often. I know that you have heard this, but cherish these moments you get to work together.
I love watching you guys working together can't wait to see more videos of the C 10 project keep sending them videos thanks
I am enjoying watching Rudy and Kaulin work together on this project. The finished product is going to be awesome.
That's a great start! I am looking forward to this project! 👍
This project is really coming along nicely guys. Can't wait to see more videos soon. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friends. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
I took a 64 c20 body and put it on a 1988 suburban cassis about 14 years ago. The wheel arches didn’t even come close on the bed but that didn’t matter since I put a flatbed on it. The frame was 9 1/2 inches longer than the c20 long bed so I had to build a custom 9 foot flatbed for it. It worked out really well and gave me a 64 chevy with a tbi 350 700r4, 4” lift with power everything, cruise control, and ac. Very reliable. Can’t wait to see your project finished
Two BRO's doing IT together . Makes me warm inside . I wish that Matt or Dad and ya'll could get a giant garage property and every one could be copesetic and all be GOOD . BUT THEN THERS MONEY AND THEN ? !
( ALL WELL ) LOvE YA'LL ALL ☮✝✝☮. in a perfect world
Nice to see brothers working together.
enjoying the videos your pushing out and the fact they're coming out reguarly
We buried my oldest brother 4 years ago and my Dad today. All that is left in my family is my remaining brother. Cherish your relationship with your brothers, they will mean even more to you once you get older!
Man that roller looks nice. I’d definitely spend an hour pressure washing it before you do more. Getting that mud off will make life so much nicer.
Hey Rudy's adventure and design! Kaulins truck should be named "Butterfly" to honor the radiator victim it came with! Ride ride ride!
Nope it's time for a case of brake cleaner to get rid of them spiders before I work on that truck lol. Last summer every car I touched was full of em. I just melt em away. What's scary is when you spray the stuff up in the car while it's on the lift the spiders just start dropping out of places you didn't even realize had a spider in there!
You guys definitely have the right skills and knowledge. You both have great sense of humor. Great Video. ❤😊
I had 2 1964 Chevy short wheelbase. I kept 1 all original, same color as your truck. The other one I painted it with deep dark midnight blue metallic emron aircraft paint.
Next I took the 6 cylinder out and manual transmission. Put a 327 ci 375 horse heads Corvette engine 850cfm Hollie duel line single pumper carburetor, headers, high rise intake, turbo 400 with shift kit. Pos rear end 3.73 gears.
It was beautiful and never was beaten in a race.
Wish I had it now. Every time I see you're truck I have fond memories of back in the day 1976-77.
Wishing I had not sold it.
This is going to be a fun series I love the fact two brothers are working together. The commentary is hilarious I know it will be an amazing truck when you get done
Can’t wait to see the progress on this project
I laughed when you both said the C10 sounded ill, it sounds great to me just like an old truck should, that motor probably would reliably run forever like that . Can't wait to see this truck when you are done with it.
Great start brothers it will be a great learning experience and something to cherish.
BIG project! Huge in fact. Lotta fun, lotta work too. I've done a few. I wish I could give you some advice that would insure success, but there's no one-liner that'll cover it all. Maybe "start, don't stop" might begin to quantify it, or "have fun". You'll remember that this for the rest of your lives.
6:26 To quote Matt from Diesel Creek: "it's time to test the tensile strength of the stuff we forgot to unhook".
Good Job!! You guys are doing a fine job so far. Can't believe you got that body off so soon.
Kaulin stands there looking straight into the camera with his steely-eyed stare at the beginning of the video, then two minutes later Rudy says, "I should probably disconnect the battery before things get a little western in here" as two American, western, manly, car-guy brothers start work on a big, custom, classic-American-iron truck restomod project. What could POSSIBLY be not to like about a video like that? ;)
Whatever you do to his truck do something with the exhaust so it still sounds like an old truck..lol I grew up driving a 1958 Chevy truck all through high school and I just love the sound of the old straight six's . They just have that certain sound to them that is so soothing, even though the motors were absolutely gutless. lol
🤟🤟gonna be sweet! Little helpful tip, get a small spray bottle with water and give those muddy connections a quick shot and they pop right off. I'm generally not patient enough but it definitely works
Great job gentlemen! I look forward to the rest of this project.
You 2 are killing it 😂 Good job boys
This is going to be a awesome build. Looking forward to watch.
Great work guys. God bless you all
Rudy it's great to finally see you with a lift!! Looking forward to lots of good content...no pressure 😂👍
at least you will have lots of Suburban parts/pieces for Robby Layton...😀 Really smart using the palettes to store the body on, makes for easy moving and protection of re-useable parts later 🙂
Wow good luck for you both. Can't wait to watch the viedos of this build, very interesting job. Keep them coming. 👍
Think this is actually the first time I've ever seen anyone put a suburban off it's frame 👍👍👍
Can't wait to see more on this. Thanks for sharing you guys.
This looks like a fun build to watch Thank you guys
it is great to see you brothers working togather on this project
I love watching you 2 working together. That ending had me rolling 😂😂😂
I'll be waiting for this start to finish 👍
You guys make it look easy. It makes me wonder how many teenagers decide they can do it and they have their familys cars all torn apart with dreams of making them better.
Fantastic job guys, really looking forward to this build !
Love Utah !!
Great start guys!!!! Looking forward to more progress!!!!
The C10 on the suburban frame is going to be awesome. You two working together make great memories. Reminds me of the projects that me and brother have done many years ago. Can't wait to see it completed.
G,day from Sydney Australia.
The wheel base worked well, close to the same albeit 4"
🇭🇲🌏
My brother is doing something similar. Putting an 05 Ranger frame and drivetrain under a 32 Ford Pickup.
Good video. Your father taught you well. Look forward to this build.
This will be a fun build to watch. Thank you.
This is going to be a cool project! Seeing some of your inspirational photos and your ideas will make one badass truck.
Great video and an awesome project. I'm looking forward to the build.
great videos boys! looking forward to the finished truck!
Awesome seeing you guys figuring this out as you go! Looking forward to seeing all the progress videos!
The 5.3 is such a reliable engine. Good choice for that build.
Cool project you two. Can't wait to see how everything turns out.
Great job guy's can't wait to hear that C/10 burban fire up lol. A lot work but it's gonna be RAD
A black widow once set up her home in an old mop bucket in the corner of our shop. We used to toss crickets into her web and watch her get them. The crickets were plenty strong enough to year their way out of her web but she would pounce on them and have them wrapped up in just a few seconds. Eventually we did kill her because we were worried someone would come around who didn't know she was there and get bit.
they make a hose tool it is like a ice pick but it has bends in it you work it under the hose and move it around it will break the hose loose ..also works on cotter pins .. Great video ..
Good morning guys......great job on the conversion process
REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS AS I AM A BIG FAN OF THAT YEAR AND STYLE!
So excited for this build, y'all doing great work.
Looks Ike you are doing things right to me, and I turn wrenches for a living. Keep it up guys, and I'm anxious to see the final product! If you need any verbal help, let me know please! 🙂
Awesome vids guys. Like the brotherly bonding. Keep up the great work. From Canada 🇨🇦
This is so cool because I have a '61 short bed that I thought of using a Tahoe chassis to upgrade the drive train and add four wheel drive.
I'm putting a stepside 71 C10 on an 04 Tahoe. Also the same wheelbase needed. This peaked my interest. 😁😁
Moving along nicely ! Thanks for sharing .
1:09 that was so genuine we have all been there. Like where do I start! ??? Ahh 2:18 brothers....
Winging it is how custom builds begin great to see Rudy & Kaulin working together on a dream truck can't wait to see this C10 beauty finnished great video thank's for sharing God bless ❤😉👍
Matt #2 and Matt #3 work well together. Haha. All in good fun guys.
Loving this build with you two brothers! Great job 👏
This is absolutely wonderful! And the build is great also!
But why do they defend homosexual special rights ?
Since collusion was proven, they're not going to find a Taco Truck visit anyway !
Truly appreciate and enjoy watching you brothers working together.
Super excited to see this come together
Nice family! Lift is working well.
love to see 2 brothers spending time together.
Your videos have really come around. Great job.
Will be following this build all the way through.
Great project I love it and I think I would have started with getting the dimensions but that looks like a pretty darn good Suburban that you're tearing up when you could have found one that had been rusted-out or wrecked
Great job boys.......I can't wait for the next episode 👍👍
Forward motion 'til the black widows showed up! 😁
Have Fun! You got this.
Just add 4 inches to the bed and great job with the truck and God bless from GA and stay safe
It's nice to see brothers working together
Good start. Looking forward to the build.
I love these fab vids. This is going to be a good build series.
For some reason when you said Kaulen was going to disconnect the shifter cable I pictured him under the truck on a creeper knocking dirt in his eyes.
I even watched the video of the Challenger Lift being installed too. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
You guys do a fine job of showing urban folks how we live in rural America!!
Great memories you two are makin together!
You guys got a good start on the pickup rebuild!
"Wingin' it" keeps it fun!! Most of the time. Xlnt choice of project & C10 is gonna be a sewweeeet ride.
The C10 is awesome. Thanks for sharing this build with us.
That will be a good daily driver. Old trucks drove very badly but not anymore after the swap which shouldn't be that bad if you're only dealing with 4 ". A lot easier than some of your other past projects. It's cool that you are taking time out to help your brother with this project. It should be a reliable truck when you get it finished.
Nice. Another oldie but goodie getting back on the road.
It's amazing that both jeeps are so similar ......that's gonna make your work so much easier
Wow, that was fast. Thanks for another nice video. 👍👍
This is going to be a cool project. I think on my next personal project ill be doing a full chassis swap.
Jogs the memory every time I hear that C10 fire up. Grew-up with a red ‘63 fleetside on the farm.
