I use the gel from the leaf of aloe vera. I’ve found if applied consistently every night for a week my inflammation decreases significantly and some scars almost disappear. Within a month my PIE on my chin and cheeks have disappeared using this.

My original skin color is black/ brown and also I have post inflammatory pigmentation which is dark brown color spots formed by acne and also I have pigmentations near my mouth and cheeks area, so I have been recommended to Alpha Arbutin, Azelaic Acid and Niacinamide by the ordinary team but I am a bit worried for a couple reasons where the first one is 1) will this product make my skin brighter in color because I only want to even up my skin tones and fade the pigmentations, and I don’t want my face to be brighter than my body. 2) can the Alpha Arbutin and Azelaic acid and the Niacinamide make my skin darker after I stop using it as I already have a dark skin shade.
And my last question is, for how long should I keep using this products?? ( I don’t want to stop using this products and face the same discoloration problem back again) and how should I stop using it ??

@@britt840 Heyy I have the same issue as you personally I found our skin needs more hydration in those areas to heal and always make sure to wear SPF, if you feel like your skin there feels a little sensitive avoid exfoliating too much, I personally don't exfoliate in those areas cause it only makes the redness more intense! My biggest tip is hydration and the products that worked amazing for me were the Viche 89 Mineral serum or really any hyaluronic acid product I recommend applying it to damp skin! And I also use the nuetrogena water cream(kinda pricey but I love it)! Don't be afraid to exfoliate in those areas but just beware and do what works for you hope this helps!

I cut dairy out of my diet and created a skincare routine using cerave foaming face wash in the morning then moisturizer and sunscreen and nighttime youth to people green cleanser , ordinary niacinimide then moisturizer and my skin is visible looking better.

Great video! If you're a person of colour suffering with hyperpigmentation, I would say go for mandelic acid rather than glycolic acid. It''s much gentler than glycolic acid, whereas glycolic acid is much harsher and could cause irritation because of how vulnerable it makes your skin. They're both brilliant AHAs but mandelic acid is generally a better option for poc.

Yeaahh centella asiatica reduce redness! The product i recommend is skin 1004 madagascar centella ampoule and be plain ampoule. Hydrate ur skin (hyaluronic issa good choice) and repair ur skin barrier. A good ingredients for skin barrier is ceramide, cica, snail, hyaluronic acid, and centella asiatica also could help! I think the key of good skin barrier is hydrated skin anyways ;)
