I honestly feel bad for Cetrion you can tell that deep down inside she knew what her mother was doing is wrong and she didn't agree with her but she went along with it anyway because she feels like she must abide her mother's will by any means necessary. Hopefully she gets to be redeemed in the new era somehow
Cetrion sucks netherealm could of did something better with the main bosses.

I sadly don’t thinks she will be the same in the new era…It seems certain characters are in every era no matter what. But Kronika told cetrion she would be exalted from the new era but cetrion was already an elder god. So how much more power or uplifted could she become. I still think kronika controls the new era to an extent she is just using puppets now instead of herself.
@@c0zy.548 we don’t knwo the extent of how the elder gods and titans work through time like clearly it was the end for kronika lmao so who knows but I agree she definitely won’t be the same
@@stancinatti8198 but kronika still lives and her new era still became a thing so she never technically failed. Raiden is now mortal in the new era. Not the same as no raiden but her still being alive shows that she has to know more than lead on.
The mk11 story ain't over yet, make sure you guys check out aftermath before moving on to mk1 when it releases, the aftermath dlc is what really leads up to Mk1
Something to note: this ending is not cannon there are three different rounds you must win against kronika if you dont beat her on the first one. If you do you unlock this ending with Kitana, however if you play all three rounds the real ending is revealed which is Liu kang sculpting the sands on his own. Just wanted to let you know so your not confused if you happen to still see Kitana as mortal in the future.

Why the hell did they need a new character as the lead? They have so many characters to choose from.
The start of the film was amazing. If they just followed Sub Zero/Scorpion throughout the entire film people would have loved it.

Johnny Cage is the most obvious audience surrogate, but one of the producers had problems with "it felt weird to have a white actor, literally Johnny Cage, be the hero of the story", so they invented the most boring bastard ever and gave him literal plot armor.

Alright so the ending you guys got is NOT the canon one that leads into aftermath there's three endings to mk11 main story and the one you saw was the first where you want I believe is the second one where you're at the beginning of the universe essentially. I suggest watching that ending which is the real one to the main story so you're both not confused by why kitana won't be there and then you'll see the real events that lead into mk1 (the new game). And don't worry about the third ending it's just a bad ending which isn't canon.
no need to watch the real ending, aftermath will replay the cutscene, they just need to know the game have another ending. i remember i played both stories back to back, i did the ending with kitana and i was so confused in the aftermath
Liu Kang chapter was amazing. To see him become a god was Mortal Kombat 11 best moments of the story. His character had an interesting arc in the story where it didn't look good, but his chapter in the game story was a breath of fresh air and nostalgia, seeing him back as the main character. I don’t agree with jax but I don’t blame him…imagine becoming one of the worst slaves known to all existence. Then being forced to remember everything you’ve done to innocent people you swore to protect. And when you think you are finally coming back your daughter joins the thing that destroyed you… I don’t think it was a easy choice but almost anyone would try for the betterment of their family.
Aslo imagine how much stronger fire god liu kang is than raiden…He has the power of 2 liu kangs his light and dark side with raiden fused in there.
The problem was that Jax wasn't tempted with the promise that Jacqui would be safe. Kronika promised him an illustrious career as General Briggs and many, many grandchildren. In his campaign ending, we see a family portrait where his daughter is the very picture of basic and weak while he looks larger than life. Jacqui's own choices and ambitions would be discarded to make way for her father's most ideal version of her. Jax was tempted with his own selfish desires and prepared to beat Jacqui bloody to impose his will on her. He only relented upon learning Kronika was Shinnok's mother. Jax was not redeemed in this final chapter. Had this timeline been allowed to play out, his relationship with Jacqui would be irreparably damaged.

@@silverblade357 well character endings aren’t canon so that whole explanation doesn’t really correlate to what I meant. But I never knew about his own tower ending and they did jax perfectly. Any normal human that was in jax shoes would either be dead or mentally worse than jax in this game. Kronika told jax that she wouldn’t serve in the army hinting at her safety. So my whole point was that jax didn’t want what happened to him happen to her or worse death. So in the main storyline he tries to choose a life where his family is better off and he has no mental problems and I would think anyone would want that if in jax shoes. That’s why I say I wouldn’t blame him and he redeemed himself once learning the truth. His version of the new era isn’t to be jaquis downfall because thats not his intention. It just sucks that she now won’t have the drive to join the military doesn’t mean she is any less of a person just cause she would be different. And jax never intended to hurt jaqui in the main story even when cetrion threatened her he was the one making demands to get her back safely. He literally says he doesn’t want to hurt anyone before the other jax steps in to fight. The only person I would say jax probably fought while still not wanting to is raiden. Which we all know raiden wins ever day and he has the truth to set Jax free.
@@silverblade357 the amount of trauma jax has been through is insane he was capture n tortured by shang stung, arms ripped off by ermac, killed by sindel, brought back as a revenant to be quan chi’s slave, Then forced to love with all that trauma, losing his wife that brought him back, and the only thing left is his daughter who is in the same organization that put him in the place he is now. Jax is one of the most abused characters on the roster💀
@c0zy.548 Right. The only thing left is his daughter, whom he is prepared to see destroyed and recreated for his own benefit. All her life choices that she made of her own volition? All the feats she has accomplished? All her work to protect and keep the work? All that she naturally came to be will be wiped out on a whim so she can be replaced by a more ideal version. Apologies if I can't consider the alleged love through the sheer selfishness.
Just so you know, there are other endings in this game, you'll see the other one when you start Aftermath. Just letting you know so you don't get confused. The other ending is canon

I just finished MK11, and I didn't have the same ending. Maybe, this is because I own MK11 ultimate (countaining aftermath). It seems that the new MK1 story starts after the aftermath ending. Also, you will learn more about outworld history from aftermath. You will understand what I mean when you will see who is the final vilain. Surprise, no spoil here. Salutations from France.
there are two endings to the main story campaign of MK11: the first is if you don't lose to Kronika in the final fight, Then you'll have an ending with Kitana

However, the "right" ending for the continuation of story seems the one where you rebuild Era with raiden (so, with one lost against Kronika). And also, it seems consistent with the story teasing from MK1. I look forward to this captivating story!
