    I really love how hand-made this is despite looking very hard-surface, wonderful attention to detail, thanks for the great tutorial

    This made learning how to make armor so much easier. Here I was sitting and extruding verts like a madman and being unhappy with the shape it fitted. Hallelujah

    Great video. Thank you! I really liked the tip on the boolean curve stroke trick. I feel like I knew that was a thing... But then forgot about it. :P
    Just a tip that might speed you up on sharpening your hardedge corners... Instead of pinching all the corners in sculpt mode... It might be faster to to go into edit mode and then go into edge select mode then highlight all the edges you want sharp then hit "Shift + E" and then slide to the right to add a "crease" and set it high along the edges... This way when you subdivide or add a multi resolution modifier the corners will stay sharp and not be smoothed out too much... You could prolly also select most of the sharp corners with a "select by trait" selection in the "select" menu... Might be able to get nice hard edges in a couple of clicks rather than having to manually sharpen all the corners... But anycase the end result looks GREAT. Thanks again for making this.

    Not sure if you will ever see this, but your Geralt course and that piece of advice to make one skull every day, was the best piece of advice I ever got. Most people just say practice, but I always get lost at what exactly to practice. My first Geralt was a monstrocity that not even a mother could love. 45 skulls later, and my second attempt at Geralt actually looks like a human. The hands are a bit iffy, maybe I will make 30 hands for the next month. Love your courses.

      I'm so happy you are able to benefit from my advice. In my tutorials, I always try to share my experiences on how I became a better artist. :) Wow!! 45 skulls, amazing! You seem dedicated, you have a bright future ahead of you. Keep on grinding.

    My mask lines look kind of triangular in some areas even if the model is smooth and when I extract it, some spots are missing. Does anyone know how to fix this?

    • @Victory3D
      @Victory3D  Před 2 lety

      Maybe you need more geometry to work with. Decrease the value of Remesher and remesh again. Then mask. Hope it works. The higher the amount of polys, the more refined the masking will be.

  • @charanganesh3700
    @charanganesh3700 Před 2 lety

    Instead of manually drawing the curves to make the Sharpe can't we just do and edge selection of that particular area and then convert that edge selection to curves and then use those same curves in sculpt mode to sharpen them using pinch brush

    • @Victory3D
      @Victory3D  Před 2 lety

      You can, but if you don't have a clean mesh from the start, you can use the method here. 👌
