- I wanted to include stone arched, retaining walls on a high-level track on the Harland Light Railway. I used plaster cast walling and modelling techniques to make them look as realistic as possible. This video shows you how I’ve done it.
Note: Products that I have used from Gaugemaster were given to me to use with my modelling.

That's another great video, Carol. I'll be rewatching it with my grandson when he's back off holiday as he enjoys watching your videos. They give him plenty of idea's which help keep him interested 😊
Thank you. Hope he finds it useful. Making ‘how to’ videos for my grandchildren is what started me making them in the first place!!
Love your "how to" videos. I was a railway modeler 50 years ago and used balsa wood a lot for my buildings. Bill from California, USA.
@@janetlewis7145 thanks for commenting. I really appreciate your feedback. Balsa wood is great as it easy to cut and I don’t have to go down to the garage to do it!!
Thanks Carol. I'm picking up lots of tips on making scenery from your videos. Vince.
Pleased they are helping you Vince. Lots more to come over the next few weeks.

Thank you and yes. I did study art a long time ago and those skills have been very useful.
Great work. I came here from the Railway Modellers link you posted a few days ago.
