  • I bought Peco OO9 carriages and Roco wagons but fell in love with the vintage Jouef Toastrack open carriages from the Paris Exhibition. Stable and good connectors. In this video I show you modifications and changes that I have made to my rolling stock.
    **Thanks to DCC Concepts for giving me the ballast I used to create the loads in the hoppers. Much appreciated and yes -- I will use it to ballast my track soon!! **

    Lovely!! Maybe magnetic couplings would be better - if the rolling stock has NEM compatible coupling pockets then (at least in theory) it should be possible to change the existing couplings with relative ease.

      Thank you. I am busy with another project at the moment - a Winter Magnorail Village which I will be sharing videos on soon. Magnetic couplings certainly sound the best idea so I will get some to try when I focus on the HLR again.
