A ROW OF TERRACED COTTAGES ON THE HARLAND LIGHT RAILWAY

- This video has been made to coincide with an article that can be found in the July 2024 BRITISH RAILWAY MODELLING MAGAZINE (BRM).
I made a row of cottages on Station Road from a free Metcalfe kit that the magazine was offering to new subscribers in 2023. I cadged 3 of them for this build and restructured them into a row that sits above the village and next to the railway line. An ideal place to live!! My husband and I lived in a similar cottage many years ago above Hebden Bridge (no trains nearby thought sadly!).

Love your cottages. Our home has English style gardens and a small orchard. My wife, who loves English things, named our home, Orchard Cottage. Bill and Janet from California
We loved that cottage but outgrew it once we had our family!

Hi Carol, I just watched this with my grandson, he love's the cottages. I don't know if you've seen it, but he's added two videos recently to his Dylington Model Railway channel, documenting his 009 build. It's early days yet, but he's enjoying the journey so far ... Cheers James 🙂👍

Btw, the background music is also very nice, although at times its volume was almost competing with your narration.
I did realise when I listened back to it on CZcams but it is a busy family weekend and didn’t have time to change it. It was nowhere near as loud on the iMovie version 🎶🎵🤔
