UPDATE ON THE MODEL RAILWAY ROOM - REALITY AFTER CHRISTMAS. On The Harland Light Railway.

- I’ve neglected The HLR for several months! And now I need to give my model railway room a good clear out after using it to wrap all the Christmas presents and write the cards. I spent several months building the Winter Magnorail Village for an article in BRM and for the Warley National Model Railway Exhibition and now I can get back to working on my OO9 narrow gauge The HLR.
I was impressed by George Williamson (youtube.com/@GWilliamsonModel... )who told me he doesn’t keep much, “if I don’t think I’ll use it, it’s either thrown away or sold, makes for an easier workspace!” So I am going to have a good clear out and sell a few things I won’t use, then I will clean my track and the locos.

Hi carol happy new year nice layout I'm the same I need to clean up big time but when I do I'll always find another purchase to fill that space but I have to be very Choosey now cause every thing is so expensive here so the best of luck cheers Patrick Quinn IRL
Thanks Patrick and I agree. New purchases aren’t bought on a whim now due to the cost. I have only been in the hobby for a few years and everything was a reasonable price when I first started. Even eBay is expensive. Oh well! I enjoy it all too much to stop!!
Oh my gosh! You made me laugh complaining about the tidiness of your work space. Mine is a disaster area and I need to be more regimented about putting things away between projects. It all gets out of hand so quickly. Can't wait to see what you get up to next!!!
Mine now looks like a bomb has hit it as I am having a complete reorganisation. I have someone coming at the end of this month who has bought my old 00 gauge layout, and as it’s a reseller, I’m taking the chance to let her take as much as I can. I have accumulated an awful lot of things!!
