  • As the riding season gets under way, we get the life long question. "Where we gonna go?" I like to go somewhere where there is a purpose to going. So, I try to find interesting places to go. This year I will put a few in as videos to let you guys see some of the places that we ride to. It may give you the inspiration to do something similar in your area, or when you are off work for a few days.
    This is the first one for this year .The remains of a Zeppelin, here in the UK. Amazing. have a look, let me know what you think, or places that you have been to that have an interesting back story. Let me know in the comments.
    Consider supporting me on Patreon if you enjoy the videos:

    Also there is a new poll every Monday on my community page so go check that out and see what you think, I will make a round up video of all results every quarter from the polls
    See you next week - new videos every Monday from now on
    Happy riding

    Just up the road at Leiston, is the Long Shop Museum which is sited in the former Richard Garrett and Sons former Works. The Museum has a number of artefacts related to Zeppelin L48 including original material and personal effects, and items fashioned from airframe aluminium. During the first World War Garretts ceased manufacture of agricultural steam engines and manufactured munitions and parts for the Fe2B airplane and it was one of these airplanes that took part in the encounter with L48 that led to its eventual demise.

      Wow, that is great. I wish I had known that when I was there I could have gone there and got some great footage. I will look at that and have a read up. Thanks for letting me know.

      Thank you for your nice comments. I found researching this event was quite interesting. The guys who used to fly in those Zeppelins worth very brave men.

      One appreciates care for really all true soldiers of the great wars.
      They are in a different league compared to others.

      @@simonbertioli4696 You are so right. I have nothing but admiration for any soldiers, of any force, and any country. They are a breed apart.

    Fascinating vid. As an old Biker/ Non stipendiary Priest, I have found many interesting items in Churches. Two near me in Norfolk are ! In Downham Market is displayed a Venetian glass chandalier from the 1700s found hidden in the bell tower, no one knows how or when it got there. 2 in Stow Bardolf Church, also from the 1700s, there is a waxwork funeral effigy of Lady Sarah Hare, very life like and in a glass fronted case, it has given a few visitors a bit of a turn when they suddenly come across it in the vestry.

      Wow, it is amazing what is all around us. I used to take part in a Round Britain Rally (RBR) it is still going. You have to find about 90 items all over the UK. Some are amazing. Starts in April, and ends in november. You have to get as many as you can.

      @RestorationBiker  Před měsícem

      There is no 'actual spot recorded as far as I can find. The closest I can get is that "It crashed in a cornfield between Theberton, and Eastbridge
