"But how could you top it?""Well . . . we set the place on fire."Classic Walt.
Classic Walt!
That's the Walt we know lol
👏🏾👏🏾♥️♥️♥️💋💋💋 RICARDO 24 😁😁😁
I started crying when he said, "Anything is possible at Disneyland," in such a happy tone ;w;
👏🏾👏🏾
I'm bawling my eyes out anyway, grew up with Disney and doing even more crying since I have to delay my WDW trip. Love how it was apart of mine and others childhood.
@@rnjtech207 Dian Disney she was known all about it before I was looking for Dad did before I was calling you back to work on the best part ride home from hollywood to download documentary about biography book club fun more information about money made into a interview review history books
Weird, he said that right as I read this comment.
Man I wish Walt Disney was still here today. Disneyland would be so different
Do you ever wonder how different Disney would be if Walt Disney lived?
I want to like your comment but it has 69 likes and that is a meme number lol.

There is a magic to Walt Disney. He had a tender voice that brings you so much peace. This is a man who loved what he did.
He was a great man with rock solid conviction and vision.
"Anythings possible in Disneyland". Oh how I love Disney!
"And there's the biggest bargain of all", I was taking a sip, Walt himself made me do a spit-take!
R.I.P Walt Disney, you never got to see your ride completed.
if he only would not have smoked , he might have lived ten years more.
p caetano It's not like they knew that smoking was killing them
He was talking about disney land not disney world he see this ride under construction.
Though, he did get to ride it in its testing state in 1966. It wasn’t completed with all the Audio Animatronics and the soundtrack installed. In fact, it was mostly finished by Valentines Day 1967 when Disneyland apparently let the regular cast members test it out.
I wonder what Walt would've thought about the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
Walt Disney was an incredible man. Seeing videos like these just makes me so happy.
When that soft music starts, it really takes me back. Back to all of those incredible Disney films of the 50s and 60s.
I just got back for taking my son to Disneyland for the his Make-a-Wish (it was his first time at Disneyland) and he loved the Pirates of the Caribbean. It was the best vacation any of has ever had. :)
The whole concept is genius. The boat ride waterfall into the past, the animatronics making the scenes 3D. The underground illusion of night. Considering this was the 60's is mind boggling. Walt and his going UP the waterfall idea. To have been Julie and heard it all from Walt, very kool memory. =)
One thing nobody can argue, he had a brilliant imagination!
I can only imagine how much one of those miniatures would be worth today.
Man.. I want some of those miniatures.
He was a visionary.
"And there's the biggest bargain of them all" lol.
Walt Disney, as close to a genius as anyone could ever be... a genius of fantasy and imagination.
3:57 Lol her face and the nervous laugh say everything: “What do you mean set the place on fire, Walt? What do you mean trap the guests there? Walt?!”
We would have some crazy rides today if Walt was still around.
I do miss the auction! I don't care if it seems offensive, it was accurate to the time period and should stay not only as history had it, but as Walt wanted it.
Yeah. Disneyland is all about that historical accuracy and there were no female pirates, so Redd is complete bunk. It would be MUCH better for little girls to see women depicted only as objects for sale against their will than to be a part of the narrative. It's almost like Disney wants to be more inclusive... almost as though they think making money depends on it. Losers . . .Good comment. Very important stuff.
Thanks!
If you're concerned with historical accuracy in Pirates of the Caribbean, I have some bad news for you. (Also, Princezz, ever hear of Anne Bonny and Mary Read?)
@@princezzpuffypants6287 a little passive aggressive buddy
Princezz Puffypants Oh Jesus why don’t you shut the fuck up already with that libtard garbage.
i've always enjoyed these behind the scenes Walt made for the Disneyland , wonderful world of Disney , abc tv show.
Love you so much walts ❤️ thank you for everything
RIP The Auction scene, I wish you didn't have to leave.
WE WANT THE REDHEAD
Brandon Bull
I’m glad they haven’t removed it from the Disneyland in California, I went last Saturday and it’s untouched!
It’s officially gone
Tyler’s Life
In Disneyland Anaheim?
I know at least at WDW.
great last line, anything is possible in disneyland:)
“Anything can happen in Disneyland” ; I almost started crying
Pirates of the Caribbean Is my favorite ride at Disneyland and I wish that Disneyland hasn’t changed a thing on the ride the way Walt Disney envisioned the ride Is how It should have stayed
Children and parents on the east coast were very happy when we heard on the news that disney Disney had bought land in Florida to build Disney world. Before then you had to travel to California to see Disney land so when we saw Disney explaining his plans for Disney world everyone in Eastern US were very happy to have it closer.
I like the way Walt speaks. Very smooth and intentionally.
R.I.P Walt we miss you very much
2:00 That pirate is my favorite part of the ride. Such a relatable icon. Trying so hard to balance all the hats, keep hold of all your treasure, and safely make it from shore to ship.
This is actually from the Disneyland 10th Anniversary Special !
When Walt says "Anythings possible at Disneyland" nobody must never say that's impossible in front of that studio.
Julie is beautiful....Disney should build more imaginative attraction that are unique!!
I’d definitely smash
How magical! The birth of my favorite ride! :-)
Seeing this honestly made me feel very happy.
Aww Walt is the most magical man on planet earth a true childhood hero ❤
Walt Disney sounds like a guy I would like.
Faloppy Saves Nature this video doesn't do a great job of catching him from all angles. He's not usually so rosey according to his business associates back then.
and now you're taking out the auction scene. Well done Disney, you spit on Walt's dream
The bridal auction scene is still there at Disneyland and Magic Kingdom but it is still being taken out.
The Pikachu Brothers who likes the Greedo change?
Pretty sure Walt, who had two daughters, would have approved of the changes. The new animatronics are amazing, Redd is a fabulous new character to sell merchandise instead of an object being sold for sex and let's face it, they couldn't have done anything worse than adding 3 Johnny Depps and a Geoffrey Rush...
Since he's saying "Tencennial" this must have been made in 65.
I miss him 😖
Please post more of these!!!
The quality of this was beautiful. I wish you'd make these available on Blu-ray.
Walt did a fantastic job making Disneyland for all people. My mom and my aunt and uncles and grandma and my deceased grandpa bob went to Disneyland 1969 54 years ago
Glad I got to see the auction scene one last time.
This guy seems cool he should start a company
Really cool video defietly need more of these type of videos
He seemed like such a sweetheart
I just want time travel to be invented so I could be able to see my hero, that would truly be amazing.
Beautiful
When Disney launches their mobile streaming, it'd be awesome if they had all of Walt Disney Presents on there.
I am truly sad and disheartened that such a classic and iconic scene is going to be removed from my favorite ride.
Pop Corn same hopefully they take a minute and think about it and realize how stupid they are being
Not removed. Just improved! It's so awesome now! You need to see it!
@@princezzpuffypants6287 no it's replaced
@@anthonytrashboat - no, it's the same auctions scene with a female pirate in place of the redhaired prostitute and instead of selling women they are selling goods. Same scene. Just vastly improved. Promise. There are videos of it on CZcams.
@Id OMG, I know right! I love Disney Co. so much!
Imagine if this man saw his business today the look on his face would be O()O
"Here they are, auctioning off the town beauties." "that's fantastic!" she says lol
Back when women only spoke when spoken directly to. The golden age. Nowadays it's all about equality. But you're only the best on the job market if you're a black transexual muslim without a gender specification.
God bless Walt Disney ❤️🌹
Two things, first, does anyone know what became of these exquisite miniatures? They absolutely belong in a museum. Though I've heard the carousel of progress mini was destroyed (such a shame). Also... is this a series I could watch all of? in alot of Disney videos, I've seen bits and pieces of this sort of workshop with Walt as the host and I would absolutely adore just getting lost in all of them. Thanks in advance for any help :)
Here's the full show that this scene was clipped from: czcams.com/video/PiSuIBb9kms/video.html
I agree! Those figures are master piece examples of Walt Disney's dream. If they were found and bought to an auction, you have any idea what kind of staggering prices they would go for?! There are a lot of wealthy Disney enthusiast out there that would take premium dollar to have those.
“She’s sharp.”
“She sure is.”
Walter Disney genius, rest in peace legend.
I Really Miss The Old Auction Scene I Will Miss It
Walt Disney what a wonderful man 😀 🎈🎈🧸🏴☠️ much love
“Anything can happen In Disneyland.” So, when are we getting a Walt Disney animatronic? 😎
I...I...I can't believe what I just saw O.O
Does more video like this exist?!?!??!
more like this!!! and at @0:12 you could see Club 33!!
😄gentle man heart of gold.😇 they messed pirate of the Caribbean walt Disney Ideas in Anaheim California
Omg this video has been in my recommendations and I finally watched it and I'm crying!! Amazing footage 😩❤️
I saw this when it first aired on NBC's Wonderful World of Color.
Of course I believe in pirates. They existed back then and they're still around today!
My bday is March 31st my 1st bday in the park since the closing of the park.
4:14 proceeds to tell her to get on dos knees for mr.Disney😏 time to give the imagineers a show🤗
Walt holding that little camera
This dude created the best "universe" in all of humanity.
Wowwwww y sigue siendo contemporáneo
This was on the Pirates of the Caribbean DVD bonus extra
3:40 Walt lowkey mentioned he wasn't into fat chicks. God I love this man.
See, its videos like these that deserve to be on Disney's new streaming service, not this Marvel/Star Wars nonsense!
So the Pirates Of The Caribbean was his idea. Walter Elias Disney is a legend.
"Anything is possible in Disneyland" :)
I am amazing !* Into the future !!!
I miss the original Wicked Wench captain!
Gotta wonder how Walt woulda felt about the Pirates movies & the Captain Jack Sparrow characters
She said “goodluck to him” (the pirate trying to make it on the boat) Walt said : “ Well he can’t make it ofcourse, the show would go to pieces. He will always be stuck there trying” …. Idk why that made me sad :(
"You believe in pirates, of course?"
It's a shame what the current management have done to Disney.
@2:12 he takes things very literally... lol
This is why they can't change the auction seen
Does anyone else think the Pirate face Blaine was working on looks like Jesse Ventura?
Cool
Where are all these sets today?
I watched this then watched the knew frozen song called “there’s a river” (I think that’s what it’s called) and I stared crying......
Good quality
We wants the redhead! 💔
♡♡♡♡♡♡comfort !!!! 😇
Ok, who the hell got offended by the Auction Scene?
What was the name of this series called?
❤❤❤go phillies!!
pirates rule 🏴☠️ 🏴☠️ walt disney🎈🎈🧸
Julie should've said Thank you Mr. Disney, than whips him. Wapah!!
Lol he talks about pirates like they're mystical creatures.
also loved epcot film!! 😈😈😈
💹💹go wizards !!
