  • Learning how to propel a golf ball dead straight is not difficult at all golfers. however, there is a reason for the step by step instructional help. There is a reason for it. And there is a reason for golfers in ability to get better. That reason is FOCUS.. Not 50/50 but closer to 90/10 the number of golfers who purchase instruction vs the 10% of those same golfers who will in fact FOLLOW ONE COURSE UNTIL SUCCESSFUL. Meaning 90% are still looking for that one something, something they feel is missing that will make the swing motion they presently have that won't work for them and has not worked for them for years perform better. Golfers as honest as I can -- let me clear the air so we can get on the same page. Your old swing is flawed or it would repeat. Nothing I say will in fact help your present swing work better. But there's a reason for the way I show golfer the swing they desire. There is a reason why the drills are presented they way they are. There is a designed proven step by step approach laid out showing you how to hit 90% of your shots straight. FOCUS GOLFERS FOCUS. Follow One Course Until you are Successful. It's totally up to you. Follow One Course and I'll help you from now on. Just follow and ask questions and don't be timid to send in your swing on video. I'm the easiest teacher in golf to reach out and touch.. -- I guarandamnteeyou.

    I came to this video when I stumbled across my Drills System booklet. The actual vhs tapes are long since gone. I remember with great fondness the big black case with 4 videos in it. Flicking through the booklet brought back memories of some of the techniques, and now when I struggle with clearing my left hip, I just thing about flicking the right heel up so the right knee is ahead of the clubhead at impact and things drop into place. As others have mentioned a digital version of the system would be great to see.

    Daltons swing has changed my game. Bought the tapes over 20 yrs ago. Took some lessons and was taught that "tour swing" swing was really good but not as consistent as I would like. Went to the range today and with Daltons "one & roll" swing. Hit the entire bucket of balls on a frozen rope. But that tour swing is nice to get a low ball flight. Especially the more your hands are out front at impact. Low bullet ball flight

    , You make it look so easy man. I have your old 4 case cassette videos and its still a simple swing.. Question! I have a a problem with my left thumb and it stops me from using a finger grip, I have to use a 10 finger/baseball grip.. I feel some swings are more dominate in my right hand at impact. ( due to my left thumb having less strength in it). At impact,should the dominate feel matter or is it all about making the club face square at impact?

    • @DaltonMcCrary
      @DaltonMcCrary  Před 9 lety +1

      Rad, I thought I'd answered your question. I guess I got side tracked. I did read it so excuse me. There's nothing wrong with a baseball grip when we have areas (you thumb) that we have to adjust for to enjoy the game. I understand the feel of having a strong right hand. ----------- Ideal in a perfect world our hands should be matching in strength. One not dominating the other. When you depend on the right hand for power what happened is you tend to not transfer any weight nor do you release the club up instead of over You can over do it. So my suggestion is to just make sure you are getting your Hand Next to YO MONEY so you can release down the fairway instead of throwing the club head toward left field. Hope that helps. Ask something else is I didn't answer to your satisfaction. Thaks for you reply. Dalton

      First, all this crap you see on TV is just that CRAP. The tour players have become more athletes than they ever were before. Strength and golf allows golfers to use there BIG MUSCLES to swing a golf club. It's the worst thing ever for a weekend golfer who doesn't work out. The quote/unquote Tour Swing that Nicklaus, Hogan, Watson, Norman and everyone else used changes somewhat with Tigers strength. The swing you refer to ------ which is all they talk about on TV ------ Which is a crying shame for it doesn't apply to the weekend golfer. Can't, we don't have Big Muscles developed for the Tour Swing of Today. That swing today is basically the Golfing Machine Swing ------- That's Homer Kelly regardless of what Brandel Shamblee says or Johnny (I know more than you will ever know) Miller. They both talk about something they themselves never did playing. And neither on of them are teachers so take what they say with a grain of salt. They talk Tour Players Swings they don't speak weekend golfers and what their body will allow you to do. And keep in mind the grass you see the tour players ripping out on TV is not the grass you play at your local club at all. On those fairways my divots are the length of my grip. I tear out 15 inches of divot. But it is not necessary when your swing is not anywhere close to what you see on TV. ---------------- Not anywhere close. If you are not taking big divots you don't have a problem so don't worry about it. The golfing machine swing they show with their hands in front is not the swing you need to be doing. Look on my You Tube Channel at the video Golfing Machine/Tour striker swing as I show you the difference. ------ Keep asking questions.
      PS, Even the Golfing Machine Teachers will tell you it's not the swing for weekend golfer. if I were teaching a weekend golfer I'd teach them to use their hands and wrists for power not their big muscles.
