I actually got into an argument with my manager over this. A PREGNANT woman who had 2 other kids went shopping twice a month and she always had a lot of coupons. He wanted me to tell her she could only do 5 at a time!! I told him lookie here pal, as long as she buys the products that the coupons are for THERE IS NO LIMIT!!! You just don't want to do YOUR job by sending them in for the money!! Believe it or not, HIS boss sided with me. And I NEVER told her. Stores don't have the right to tell you how many you can use if you're buying the products. I miss double coupon days!! Today's world is soooo money-hungry it's sickening!! They don't realize that the poor is the one thing that will always be there, ALWAYS!!😥
They tried doing this at a grocery store when I was a teenager and I’m pretty sure that my coupon queen mom was the reason 😅 but what they weren’t expecting was that mom has 5 kids and they had u-scan lanes. Worked in fast food and I used to apply manual coupons to orders (older system where you'd manually find the coupons in the system, we didn't have scanners) just because I could. Pissed off the bad GMs but I didn't care. I did it for regulars, people who were kind, people who seemed like they were having a hard time, homeless people, the folks counting out pennies trying to match single digit dollar totals, didn't matter to me. I'd pull a "hold on, let me check something... the system didn't apply [x], your total is actually [y]" and I usually got at least a good amounted discounted for them. Eff the corpos.
I had a local grocery store try to limit me, wasn't worth the fight and went elsewhere. The coupons that are available now are for items I never use and there is no doubling coupons. 35 cents off an expensive product I never use is worthless.

I remember about fifteen years ago my local grocery stores had coupon dispensers attached to the shelves scattered around the store. It was wonderful and children would always run around collecting coupons for their parents and it was such fun to go find the items that the coupons were for. It was a great way to find new foods to try as well. I havent seen them in so long though

You can still get coupons. Call the 1 800 number on the back of every product, they will send you some for the products you use. I get 100s in my mail weekly, and not from the newspaper

The store closed a few months later so it wasn't a big loss for her 😂 Edit: the underwhelming majority wasn't for her or anyone in the family. She wanted to prove to herself she could be like those extreme couponers 😆 The overwhelming majority got donated to a program for homeless teens

When I was a cashier(briefly), we had a lady that would come in with a full on trapper keeper- an actual trapper keeper, from the 80s or 90s- FULL of coupons, and wouldn't go through them until she was at the register. She was finally told that she had to have the coupons ready before her things were rung up, or we wouldn't take them. She would be going through that blasted thing for 30 minutes. So many people left their carts at checkout because of her, with cold items in them.

Well the kid looks indian, and I mean tomahawk not red dot. Where I live most people are indian or have some form in their blood and from what I've personally witnessed, indian folk were born with this gene that gives them the ability to grow perfect hair and they don't do anything at all but wash it, it just grows naturally, beautiful like that! And when something is on sale as a flyer item they always put a limit on it. Aka they had bacon on sale today at the store and you were only allowed 2 packages before you had to pay regular price.

Well the kid looks indian, and I mean tomahawk not red dot. Where I live most people are indian or have some form in their blood and from what I've personally witnessed, indian folk were born with this gene that gives them the ability to grow perfect hair and they don't do anything at all but wash it, it just grows naturally, beautiful like that! Just in my case the white irish woman gene over rode it and gave me curly red hair thats nappy as a goats ass!

Disney gave us some coupons for the cafeteria when we went in. A man was so disgusting in the line at the cafeteria because we tried to use it because they took 5 minutes to process it and I tried to ignore him but it just puts you in such an off mood. And when something is on sale as a flyer item they always put a limit on it. Aka they had bacon on sale today at the store and you were only allowed 2 packages before you had to pay regular price.
