The youngster 2nd to last was a fun one. You can really see the potential shining through.
:)
Yeah, I was gonna say the same.
When he was doing that roll-to-uppercut, I thought he must “just” be a boxer, then he did that clean question mark kick.
Jeff’s going easy on him
Ur second to last guy is something special. Really wanna see more of him
ossss
My son adam
Very controlled, very teaching sparring video. Everyone has it's own fighting style and jeff has a hell of a good one and improving as always!
thanks man!!!!
Last guy who looks like he has a solid boxing background had some great moves, loved the reverse elbow
cheers!!
Man that double body shot followed by the low kick in the first min was beautiful!
You move so flawlessly
Great work from everyone!
thank you!!!
That 2nd guy does this weird head turn every time gets pressured but that low high round was clean af
oss
The skill and control in all of these is so high level. So many different styles of Muay Thai!
osss
It's cool that each person has at least one feign, combo or counter that you can tell the practice a lot and are quick and good at and really worked. Tempted to pick a few off these guys and practice them. Having more tool in the belt means your opponent won't know what to expect.
oss!!
wow these are the videos ive been searching for!! lots of techincal cool little sparring moments, everyone with a different style different strengths, everyone there to learn and have fun
Thx!
Great video, loved the different styles from everyone. Jeff adapted beautifully with the different tempos and techniques.
thank you!!!
I love how you made it seem so easy to spar with a bigger and longer opponent.
I try! hah
The most exciting video I seen all day love your sparring technique ❤❤❤
thank you!
Wow man! all the styles are so different! Really great stuff Sir!
:)
Killer upload! Loved seeing how you faced the taller guys. Definitely gotta watch this several times. Be keen to see more of these in how you face several people in one upload. Was great seeing the variety of different type of fighters! 💪💪
thank you!!!!
Amazing as always man👍👍
thank you!!!
Awesome… great watch 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
thanks!!!
So many good sparring techinques!
Jeff, thank you for your videos, you are the best ❤
thanks man :)
Impressive as always! I love these multiple student videos. They all look great! High levels of respect and control, which makes for a safe to try anything environment. Round 6 guy gets an A+ from me, does he want a job? 😂. He has great composure and is super relaxed. He seems to be in it 100% for the duration. Proud of Round 8 guy, he gave his all and his training path is paying off. You can see the lessons and training points unfold! Brave guy, lets see an update on him in 6 months as I am guessing he has a bright future ahead of him.
:) there all good guys!!!
A-mazing as Always, great Warrior 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💪💪 I enjoy all your sparring sessions, thanks also for doing what people like me dream about but can't (for several reasons)🙏🙏🙇♂️💪🥊🥋 I better go back to train now🤗💪🥊🥋
thank you!!!
Perfect JEFFF...GOOD JOB 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏼🙏🙏🙏🙏

Great sparring
thx!!
That was a great team to spar! All of them were talented. Yea, that young guy had great movement.
:)
This is super exciting stuff. Good luck to everyone's next fights XD
:)
Round 8 kid is something else. So good and look like he had tons of fun!
hes good!!
Duuuude. I'd love to spar with you. Looks like a ton of fun and a great learning experience. Best of both worlds.
would love to one day!
@MMAShredded I'll keep an eye out if you ever come to my city or if I'm in yours. Thanks for all the great videos, my guy. Keep it up
Rounds 2 and 8 were the most fun to watch IMHO. 👍🏻
:)
The kid in round 8 was definitely feeling it he was flowing so well!!!
haha yeah!!
Good work on that second guy yall were letting loose I loved his question mark kick very clean
cheers!
Love it!
thank you!!
That one kids gonna be really good in the future. His head movement and head kicks was on point. Very omalley style
yeah!!!!
I just had a great sparring today. As intense as this one, we sparred for an hour non stop besides the 1min pause for the first 10-12 rounds and 30sec pauses for the last 15 mins.
LETS GO!!
For a long time now I don't spar anymore. I've ran into people too many times who try to cheap shot me when I'm being respectful and pulling my strikes to not hurt my partner, all the while they are just sizing me up to cheap shot me with a 100% power knockout blow when it's agreed its just a light spar.
I'd make a exception for Jeff. I know I could have a good spar and not be hurt, of course he could hurt if he wanted too, but he knows not to treat a light spar that way. Keep up the good work.
would love to light spar together one day :)
damn, the technics are flawless, but what is even more impressing for me the speed and the agility. I'm gassing out just after 3-4 round in sparring at the moment, and we spar like at 2x speed slower then here!
thanks man!!
It's awesome to see how a lot of the younger lads kinda spar like you do
:)
Awesome 💪👏👍
:)
Amazing sparring session. In my opinion the second and sixth round were the best opponents - also the boy with withe shirt did pretty good.
What i realised - that i didn`t recognise in all the videos i`ve watched on your channel befor - each teep/pushkick against you lands. Seems you`ve nothing against it - at least that day. Keep an eye on it
BR from germany
cheers!
The 8th guy was a fun guy to watch those rolls were 👌🏽😮💨
ossss
0:23 "Oh shit!" 😂
Did the guy in Round 2 use the patented Jeff Chan Foot Sweep on Jeff Chan!?!? Great video as always!
Happy Saturday 😁👋
happy Saturday!!
Man I really liked watching 8 and 9
:)
It’s always fun to have good sparring partners who don’t try to knock you out 😅
:)
Muito bom! 🇧🇷😃
Loved all the vidéo
BUT I CAME 🎉 ON THE INSANE HEAD MOUVEMENT ON ROUND 8 ❤
thank you for watching!
That's so fun by the way who you pick to win this night strickland or DDP ? 😊
I think DDP!!!
I love the control, I’m still afraid to use elbow and knee, because I don’t so much control with it. And partner always move like crazy 😂😂
keep it up :)
How did you get your conditioning down so good, to where your breathing, foot work and striking come together? I'm sure jump rope and running have a lot to do with it. But I definitely struggle with this during sparring, I'm completely winded half way through. What do you recommend?
skipping definitely helps, and more technical sparring!!
@@MMAShreddeddo you consider that running does actually help to improve your sparrings ?
Round 8 that kid is special 🔥
he is!!
Jeff, long time follower and commenter. I’ve got another question for you… you keep doing this combo that I’m trying to understand. It looks like a neutral grip jab to their throat/upper chest, over hand right into a double step low kick (I think)
Can you confirm? I love it and want to adapt it
body jab to corkscrew cross :)
hey jeff quick question. been trying your double step lowkick recently in sparring and it has been working good but my coaches tell me that i shouldn't because when i step out to the side to lowkick it leaves me open to get low kicked myself. I also rely on head movement quite a bit but my coaches tell me not to duck in muay thai or kickboxing because it is dangerous and puts me at risk for head kicks or knees but i see you ducking and weaving all the time. any tips or thoughts on what my coaches say or what i should do?
what your coach says is.. IMO, factually wrong. But I would be respectful and try to listen to your coach when he is teaching.
if you are a beginner i would stick with the very basics and would listen to the coach. after you are comfortable with that you can start adding all of this, that's what i think is better for you but i'm kind of a hypocrite because i try every single wacky thing i see on youtube without knowing shit xD
สายตาดี 👏🏽 ☺️
How do you shrug off landing kicks on the elbow?? Looks like there were a few in that vid (though the foot/shin pads must cushion the impact). I really struggle when that happens to me in karate as when the pain settles in it makes me more likely to telegraph what I'm about to do, when I'm trying to stifle my hobbling about. Obviously prevention is best - through training to manoeuvre landing the kick (foot or shin) somewhere other than the elbow, but inevitably it does happen every now and then😅
try to kick the arm if their elbows are tight. You drain the arms so they cant punch and weakens their defense!
@@MMAShredded Will do! Thanks for the advice!
Hey Jeff, how do you find so many sparring partner? Where did you start?
just a local gym man!
Hello from algeria and OSS
Hey!!
Hello Jeff! Great vid as always. I sparred on friday, he started hitting me hard and I told him to hit me only as hard as he wants to get hit. He kept hitting me hard so I beat his ass, but that's not the point. The point is that I got hurt, i got a black eye and got kneed in the balls. After 1.5yeears of doing muay thai this was the first time I walked away from a sparring with injuries like this.
My question / request is can you make a video on recovery? I want to do this sport for a long time but i'm afraid that my body won't be able to hold up. What is the secret to longevity in this sport?
Thank you!
the secret is to not spar hard often and rest is important haha. I dont do anything special for recovery
nice skills Jeff, he still got you a couple of times, thats because youre always training and sparring when u should be going to a mindset coach instead, remember fighting is all about that mentality
haha true
@@MMAShredded i just see red bro and the bodies start droppin
I wish I could react as fast to check kicks as the guy from round 6, very impressive
cheers!
Hey Jeff, could you do a sparring video at LI MMA in West Babylon? They have a fight team.
maybe one day!!!
Looks hard. Any injurys after that ?
'hard' but controlled. no injuries at all
Just trying to be observant here, not actually a critic:
1st guy is solid, but overreliant on the jab and kick. Not enough setups and feints.
2nd guy's too stiff, reactive and not very coordinated but has perfected kick catches and dumps.
3rd guy is too relaxed, doesn't bother to guard his head. Hands down style may not be for him. But he's very coordinated.
4th guy is very much like the 3rd but a little more animated and a little less coordinated
5th guy just radiates strength and stability. Looks very formidable while only moderately technical
6th guy is clean, relaxed, coordinated. I like his style.
7th has a great command of combinations, very fluid. But distance management and reactions not quite there
8th is slick but not offensive enough, but when he turns on the aggression it's quite predatorial
9th is slick too, unorthodox, but not making the best use of his length
oss
Not enough teeps in the video to be called a Muay Thai sparring session 😂😂 Jst playing. Good sessions!
oss
Jefff, what do you use for filming? ⚔️
Sony ASI3!
round 4 I thought was the best round of sparring. Playful, form, mixed attacks and respect. I don't see a real benefit in going hard unless your training for a fight or a conditioning/ hardening session.
:)
@@MMAShredded💚👍😂.
I mean playful non contact gentle friendly pin point sparring accuracy homie yup💚💯🥊👍😎.
Было очень интересно!
that little boxer 😁
hes good!
лайкос, хорошая работа
The second dude was a spazz
The homie in round 2 definitely made some adjustments after all the chin-out comments in his last appearance 📈😂👍🏼
haha!
I dunno if 1:03 dude wants to keep his chin up in the air like that unless it's made of granite.
Looks like his head is bent back even slightly when he strikes especially, but hey, if it works for him good for him.
watch Henry cejudo or Connor mcgregor! as long as you know how to manage your distance its okay :P
Man I much prefer the less edited videos. The time in between combinations and exchanges is equally as important as the exchanges themselves.
the last guy was very awkward and seemed to be using a lot of boxing head movement which you promptly took advantage of by kicking the crap out of his legs lol. That was awesome though your movement and reactions are great man i know you make more through your youtube career but i did enjoy watching you fight keep up the great work bro 👍👊
thanks for the support bro :)
Jeff Chan I really want to know ….. when sparring it seems getting hit in the face will make your eyes 👀 leak . Is this something new fighters have to deal with and if so how do you overcome it
hmm that doesnt happen often
@@MMAShredded ok 👍🏾 thanks
Round 8 kid was a beast lol
yeah!!!
round 8 crazy
oss
Way to work your technique/game plan Sir. Excellent cardio btw...
thank you!
jeff what artists do you mainly listen to?
I listen to everything :) anything thats good haha
I want to get into it but is so expensive
highly recommend training!!!
Grey shirt needs to chill a lil in that 2n'd round. Although, good on him for de escelating after ripping that right hand trying to counter.
Jeff, your videos brought me back to martial arts some time ago. What is your split between striking and grappling when it comes to training effort?
Hi! I am glad to hear :) I would say now a days, I train BJJ 2x a week and spar once a week. But I have also taken a big roll into coaching now thats why!
How could you spar like this and not getting injured? I always got knee bruise and all kinds of foot injuries from even a lighter spar.
we are actually controlled with our strikes!
Dang, round 8 kiddo probably styling on fighters in his weight class 🧊. Going to be a problem once he gets the full puberty makeover 👀.
yeah man hes good!!!
The young guy is gonna be a bruiser.
yeah!!
Maaaaan!!! Talk about sharpen the blade my brotha!!!
osssss
Lil bro In round 8 can bang😂
haha yeah man!!
You know it's a muay thai gym because of the OOOOOOEY in the background xD .
lmao!!!
i love u
Need help on catching kicks. Ever since I saw that dude catch a kick only to get spin kicked in the face, I've been super hesitant to do so 😂
haha yeah that was crazy!
OSS 🔥🥊💯🏆💪🏽

Yellow shorts Red shins is a fuckin demon.
haha yeah!!
Still in NY?
yeah!!!
👏👏👏
:)
8:19 bro let go
You sparred Tom Hardy
haha
last guy looked like he lost 300 pounds a minute ago with them baggy cloths xD how can my man even kick with them pants? he was slick with it though, had some cool shots like the spinning elbow and the sidekick and his defense was good.
haha!
Is that 8th round kid Luis Pineda of the viral destruction of Ed Matthews?
haha
