    As per my observation! Why the filter makes less sound & air bubbles after submerging more dipper in the aqwarium??? It's because of the more water load (Dense water)on the propeller of the pump which reduces the RPM/speed of the pump, this also cause load on the electric motor/power head of the pump, technically its not advisable to do so for long life of the pump. Good luck friends! This video is very informative. Thanks!

    Fantastic video thank you! - my filter came with the wrong manual so it was really helpful to have a video walking though the process of setting them up - the air intake on mine was adjustable and came 'shut' and I never would have thought to unscrew it - nor the tip that planted tanks should avoid bubbles to keep the Co2 in the water - which makes perfect sense and supports advice from 'experts' doing low tech tanks that you don't want lots of movement. Thank you so much :)

    This is great, thank you. I bought a filter a few months ago and was waiting to get a new bigger ornament for the bigger tank to move the fish into. Just found out today the old filter in the old tank has for some reason stopped working, so I've had to set up the new tank now, without a new ornament (because I can't get to the pet shop with everything going on). Not sure how long the old filter has not been working for, a day or two I'd say. So far my 2 fish are okay, but is there anything I can do for the fish for oxygen in the water whilst I have to wait for the water ect to settle & come to room temperature in the new tank? Thanks in advance of any response.

    • @gurribuy
      @gurribuy  Před 4 lety +3

    can i use sobo wp1000f for my 50 litre tank?
    my tank is 1 feet in height
    will it create too much flow?

    • @gurribuy
      @gurribuy  Před 2 lety

      power filters are not good for small tanks as they create very high flow and the fish find it very hard to swim.
      Every tank setup is different. Do your own experiment and use what works for you and your tank.

    I have betta along with many fishes. If i put my tube inside water ,then the small agitation is enough to provide oxygen.. ?
