I recently bought this filter and i have discovered that the white pipe MUST be left out of the tank to oxygenate the water. Meaning you dont have to change the water as often as you used to because the oxygen is being replenished into the water. Use a good gravel at bottom of the tank. The filter works well this way
I have 6 small Golden fish's in my aquarium, how much pellet feed should I give them and at what time.

No adverse effect if pipeis not used.

Thanks for Demo. I recently purchased an aquarium and the Internal filter is the same as shown in the video. But my filter does not always keep shooting water as shown in the video. Nevertheless, there is a slight shooting out and it does the filter work. I have kept the white narrow pipe ( meant for air intake) hanging outside the tank. But still, it worries. Is there any problem with the working of the filter? The proprietor from whom I purchased the filter says it could be a voltage problem. Please clarify

For me also.. Then i fixed the pump little higher.. So it started flowing water / bubbles.. If the depth is so high ,water pressure reduces the function I guess

I don't recommend placing the filter under the sand because it will put pressure on the water filter and it will not work properly so best to keep it or place it above the sand level.

No shock at all use it without any hesitance.

Dear Fazullah, the sponge doesn't only contain the dirt but it also contains the microorganisms which are necessary for the fish to survive. So I will not recommend to wash very frequently and not very thoroughly also. I would recommend rinsing once in 15 days, not thorough washing. It is helpful in preserving the life of the fish.

The pump mixes air i.e. oxygen with water. It may be faulty.

Some damage definitely. Any vibrations[ means motor is working]?

Abhi water changing is independent of tank size. After 15 days you change about 25% water. Don't change 100% water as it destroys ecosystem essential for survival of fish.

Shabab yep, rinse periodically but dont wash with soap or detergent. The microorganisms should remain in the sponge for survival of fish.
