    Thank you for sharing your video. I'm on the search for video for potential obstacles for me as a 66 year old stroke survivor of 10+ years with still a residual full left paralysis. Can walk now 5 km a day and hopefully up to 8km by the time i go there on May 2023. In my one of my reading, it mentioned after leaving Pontesampaio behind, i will face a long hill, known as A Canicouva. On this i km section, the terrain turns into a rocky hill. How bad is it for a person with walking/balance disability? Thanks for your comment.

      I heard you say you got a room to yourself because it was an off-peak time. That sounds awesome! What month did you hike? We want to do the Camino Portugues in March but are worried some accommodations won’t be open then. What did you find during off peak? Thanks for your quick response!

    • @GeraldineOCallaghan
      @GeraldineOCallaghan  Před 3 lety +1

      @@tigertailtime7679 There's no reasons accommodation would be closed in March.

    Thanks for the video! I want to to this for the first time, but I'm full of fears and questions. How long did it take you? I'm planning on doing it from Porto next month. And then maybe an extra effort to Finisterra :)

    • @GeraldineOCallaghan
      @GeraldineOCallaghan  Před 2 lety +1

      I walked from Lisbon so it took me one month to get to Santiago. I think you can do Porto to Finisterra in about 2 weeks. Just go for it. You'll love it!
