I don't have a problem with it cracking, once I start the screw I back it out and put e600 on the hole then finish screwing it in and pot e600 on top to seal it. All my screws were put in well above where the boat sits in the water.

I didn’t have to modify the trailer at all, the boat fits perfectly between the fender wells. From what I’ve heard, harbor freight has stopped selling the trailers because of an issue with the wheel hubs not being DOTD approved.
Marcus Patterson I never had any problems with the screws I put in. I put 3M 5100 once I start the hole then I put 3M 5100 on top of the screw once it’s done. I don’t have anything mounted under the seat risers and if you sit in one of those boats without a seat riser you’ll feel like your knees are in your chest.
That’s the ten foot model, the eight foot model is too small for two people in my opinion. The eight foot is only seven feet nine inches long, and the ten foot model is ten feet three inches long. That extra two and a half feet make a huge difference.

I got a 1992 sun dolphin sportsman 8, anybody else out there got one of these boats, and what mods have you made and can you post pictures.

All the holes I drilled are well above the water line and used 3M 5200 in each hole that was drilled

urtypicalguy I got the paint from lowes, I rolled it on I didn't buy spray cans and I used Thompson water seal

Yes I do I had a very very nice aluminum boat that I fixed up ( check out my Jon boat to bass boat video ) and I like my pelican boat better
