What is Mixed Reality?
It´s a way to record and show gameplay to serve a better understanding of how it feels to use Virtual Reality. It uses a greenscreen to later blend out the room you are playing in and instead blending in the virtual environment life or in video editing. So it´s only a way to show to the viewers, while playing i can´t see my wheel and real hands. So it´s not like Augmented Reality, which will maybe come in a few years and will look similar.

Hey Marcel! I've been binge watching your videos for the last half hour or so, gotta tell you I love them! Quick question, do you edit in your hands and wheel for the video afterwards or do they project immediately into your Rift whilst your playing, so that you see them as you play?

do u think, is it possible to see in oculus your hands and the game, like on video?
There's been discussions about this on the AC forums. It would be hard to implement as most car's wheel size and position are different from where your real life hands with your sim wheel are. The only way I can see them doing it is if there was a "custom universal wheel" that you could replace on every car in sim and set it to the same size and position as your real life wheel. Then you would need a hand capture device to overlay your hand in VR which would match up as size and position is now the same. The biggest hurdle of all is convincing the AC team to implement these features, we still don't have VR menus yet which won't be available in AC from what I've read and we will have to wait until AC2. Maybe one day we'll get hands in VR for racing but I think it's a while away yet unfortunately.

Mich würde interessieren, welche Einstellungen/Änderungen du bezüglich Oculus Rift gesetzt hast - vor allem Grafik-Einstellungen.
Ich hab seit 3 Tagen auch eine Rift und bin gerade am Experimentieren...

Ich habe vsync und anti aliasing deaktiviert, Post processing etwas niedriger gestellt, die kopfbewegung durch Bodenwellen usw deaktiviert und die Spiegelungen herunter gestellt. Um ein schärfers Bild zu bekommen, habe ich unter User/Dokumente/Assetto Corsa/cfg die oculus.ini bearbeitet und den Wert bei "Pixel per Display" auf 1.4 erhöht (supersampling)
Super, vielen Dank! Werd' ich später gleich mal testen... hast du Anti Aliasing nur aus Performance-Gründen deaktviert? Verstehe ich sonst nicht, da dadurch doch weitere "Treppchen" vermieden werden...

Do you like a strong FFB wheel or more like in real life? It looks quite soft (realistic) but it's hard to tell from here.

Hey, make a video talking about tips to drift, I used to drift on forza 4, I bought ps4 and assetto corsa, and now it is really difficult to drift any Non-drifting car

Fanatec ClubSport BMW GT2 steering wheel (I've printed a Porsche sticker for it) . But they have Porsche wheels too. Costs 299€
