      In case of sliding pressure Turbine valves wide open and MS pressure changes according to load vs pressure curve. In case of constant pressure MS pressure constant and Turbine valves throttling take place for doing the same it is effective in between 80 to 100 % load change.

      Constant pressure-
      Main steam pressure maintain constant with the application of Turbine valves regulation in between 80 - 100% load this provides pressure reserve during sudden increase of load.
      Sliding pressure -
      Ms pressure changes corresponding to load as per Ms pressure vs load curve. This mode provides less stress to the pressure parts as compared to constant pressure mode.

      First stage pressure is very important to describe the silica deposit on turbine blades, if it happens first stage pressure increases. Throttle pressure before control valve pressure....
