Indian Vintage is a beautiful classic bike to own. Love it...
I like the looks of the windshield without the massive front fairing. I still have my '48 Chief and am prejudiced toward the 50's "look" with chain drive for slimmer rear fender, simple headlight with no huge chrome headlight fairing, little or no electronics, and simple old-style accessory saddle bags. I hope Indian at least retains a full-fendered Chief model for "mystique" fans
Love those Indian motorcycles!
They just keep getting better and better!
Yes sir!
Fit and finish on an Indian rivals Harley for sure. The paint quality and chrome are top shelf. And it's the little things Indian does like chromed switch housings standard on their big bore bikes, a thousand dollar upgrade on a Harley. I would take this bike over a Heritage and the Springfield over a Road Glide.
Yes sir!
Not sure where you're getting "a thousand dollar upgrade" from. The chrome switch housings on my bike cost 140 bucks and I put them on myself in less than an hour. But I do see your point, that should be standard on a Harley. One more thing to like about the Indian bikes.
Great review man. Personally, I'm not a big fan of bagger bikes, but I do like what Indian is doing with the vintage Looks good.
Thanks, brother! I'm not a huge fan of the leather bags but they look great on this bike.
You are lucky man getting ride all those beautiful Indian motorcycles, and I agree, who needs the LCD screen! Would love to get a Dark Horse Springfield, maybe someday. Thanks for a great review bro..
Thanks, bro!
You’re right about the owner I drove all the way from Atlanta to Chattanooga to get some work done on my bike because those guys just came across as good people and when I got there they treated me right and took good care of my bike and I will go there again in a heartbeat matter fact I would buy bike from them in a heartbeat good people.
Yes sir!
Man that is an amazing bike . Great video. I want one.👍👍❤️
Thank you!
I have a 2015 Vintage and I love the bike!
This is the same view I have on my stunning 2019 Indian Springfield. Cruiser heaven all day, everyday.
It's a great ride!
@@NoogaCowboy , I just came back from a 3 hour ride on the Springfield. Best therapy in the world.
@@roguecheddar No doubt. The Springfield is a lot more comfortable than a Scout. You can just keep going and going on that bike.
If you have ridden the previous model vintage on the interstate with the less steeper rake do you feel with this kind of riding is it more stable ,planted as the new modle. Keep in mind the springfield has the same rake as the one your riding so dose not apply ?????Enjoyed your video Jesus bless ya from a brother from down under 🏩🤠🇦🇺
Great ride !!!!
This motorcycle is so beautiful 😍 I wish I could have one
They need to add the heal shifter back
AWESOME
Nice bike, from a Harley guy. Love the Indians, never tried one though. I think if Indian wants to compete with Harley, they should be selling their bikes at a lower MSRP than Harley. Most are the same or more expensive, but will resale be the same. The older you get, comfort trumps cool every time.
Good points. However, I don't think Polaris/Indian is interested in lowering prices anytime soon. Ride safe!
Sweet bike!
Wondering how a bigger bike like this feels compared to your Scout? Does it take a bit to adjust to it?
The adjustment period will vary from rider to rider. Once you get on and start rolling it's basically the same. If I owned one of these bikes it would make the time frame much smaller obviously. Not a big deal in my opinion.
I just test rode the Cheif Vintage coming from a Sportster. I had an hour on the Indian. I was use to it within 15 minutes. The suspension and brakes are miles better. The power obviously. But one thing that I found unusual was the throttle response. I could blip the throttle on the Indian and it reacted half a second later. It made blipping the throttle to rev match on gearing down unusual. Other than that, what a smooth, refined, classy bike. I love Harley, and a few months ago I did ride a Road King. I’ll be honest, as a Harley guy, take the badges off the tanks, ride both, and you will 100% of the time get off each bike and always choose the Cheif. As a Harley guy, I have come to terms with the fact that Indian is making far superior cruisers.
Well. I love it just the way. It. Is. Beautiful WOW
She's a looker!
😍😍😍😍
I am 5,5 do you think I could ride it comfortably ? I have to drive 4hr to test drive them. I am stuck between this and the chief dark horse.
Yeah, I think you'll be just fine. Test ride them both to see which one you are most comfortable with. If you are planning on putting some serious miles on a bike I'd go with the Vintage. Let me know what you go with!
@@NoogaCowboy thank you!! The drive to the VA is 4 hrs and I have to do that every month so there will be plenty of miles!!
I'm 5'6" and my Springfield is so well balanced for such a big 850 lb bike, you should be fine if you're an experienced rider. The kickstand can be a bit of reach, but it's manageable. They sell a reduced reach kickstand if needed.
@@roguecheddar Thank you!
I know EXACTLY what You're talking about, on
DON'T ASK.
I've got 50yrs on 2 Wheels.
It’s called evolution when you started riding they may not of had all of the technology that they have a motorcycles today however, today’s motorcycle is not your grandpa’s motorcycle they come with all the amenities does need it for you to do long trips not just ride around town.
Hold the camera steady, dude. Your making me seasick.
I got one of those babies 😄
Is this a different brand like the Chief Indian classic that got discontinued, or did they just change the name?
If they changed the name I’m still gonna call it a Chief vintage, to hell and back with the whole “ PC Movement “ I’m a Christian in the world not of the world 😂✝️💯
But I do love motorcycles and I watch your channel when I have time, but I rarely comment 😊
I am going to buy the Chief vintage, with the classic red, with a metallic red Sidecar to match,
I’m not a car guy and I just want something to get to work and back (Hannigan Sidecar for gerocry shopping 🛍) ✝️😊💯
The Chief Indian Classic is different. It is part of their cruiser lineup. They still have that lineup but it will go through a significant change with the 2022 lineup. The Vintage is categorized as a Bagger. I agree with you on the PC movement. It is getting out of hand. Thanks for checking me out, brother. Ride Safe and God Bless!
@@NoogaCowboy Thanks bro, God bless you and stay safe 😊✝️🏍💯
The naming of the models got confusing. Previously, there was the Chief Vintage and the Chief Classic. The Chief Classic was the more basic model. The Chief Vintage was the same bike but included saddlebags, windshield, and crash bars. Then the Chief Classic was discontinued and there was only the Chief Vintage. Now the Chief Vintage is renamed just “Vintage”. And there’s a new model just called “Chief”, which is a different bike from anything in the former Chief line of bikes. So it’s a big cluster f*ck at this point. But that’s the story.
@@JTroskaTV ohhh thanks bro, I understand now, but I was confused at first🏍🏍🏍💯
Are you Japanese?
🤓🤠👽👾👍👍👌💋
Loose the annoying music.
Did you know you were making a video, dude? You don't seem to understand basic camera operation. Pay more attention to the fact that your viewers need to watch the vid without all your out of control head bobs.
Oh wait, it gets better. 4:30 "Just go to a dealership and ride a bike, it's the only way you're gonna know." **THEN WHAT'S THE POINT OF MAKING A VIDEO AND CALLING IT A REVIEW?** Sheesh.
AWESOME
