    I bought this exact bike (color and all) the week Indian announced them. The dealership I went to got it on September 15th (the day their website updated the new models) and I picked her up on the 19th. After upgrading to a stage 2 kit, sissy bar with a luggage rack and 16" ape hangers, I can safely say it is my favorite bike I've ever ridden. I recommend it to everyone. Also, the color is oh so sexy.

      @@NoogaCowboy oh yes, very much so. I will say I need to change the seat but that would be the only gripe I'd have with the bike.

    I love my 2019 Springfield. It is leaps and bounds better than Harley as far as comfort and quality. If you aren't one to fall into the "I need to be like everyone else and buy a Harley," then I recommend checking out an Indian bike first. They are so sweet!

    The Challenger is just that. Challenging Harley, Honda and BMW while at the same time seeking a younger audience. I guarantee you that a quick shift (like the BMW 1600) will someday be available for the Challenger. Mark my words.

    How's the buffering? How's the heat? I test rode an Indian a few years back and it was insanely hot! I heard they took a page out of HD playbook and worked on the heat management system (Pre-M8 were crazy hot, too!).

    • @NoogaCowboy
      @NoogaCowboy  Před 3 lety

      Buffering isn't bad. As far as the heat is concerned, I havent experienced much heat. That being said, I'm only on these bikes for 20-30 minutes for the test rides. I can't speak on longer rides but no heat issues for the length of time I'm on it.

  • @pastorjohnculbertson661

    Needs and deserves bassani true duals and mid rise handlebars. I'm partial to Bassani true duals because the rear cylinder should exit stage left. Front cylinder should exit right or straight back. Gives you a better balance in pipe length.

    This is by far the best bang for the buck. Add 12-16 in. Hangers (your preference), oil cooler (You're an idiot if you don't) Chrome protection on the bags to compliment (offset) the chrome strip on front fender, fox shock and some rubber on the mustach you're golden and can start saving for the true dual cat delete

      Wow. No I did not notice excessive heat. It was a cooler day and I was on it for just 20 minutes. I did have minor wind buffeting. I felt it in my shoulders and top of my helmet. It wasn't as bad as what you described tho.

      I think it is. I'm not gonna ride a Roadmaster to the store just like I'm not gonna ride a Scout to Sturgis. You really can do it all with this bike. I won't ride a bike with no windshield that is the first thing I buy if I buy a bike without one. Not only is it make the ride more enjoyable it is a safety issue. I had an on coming car though a piece of tailpipe it hit in the road up and it hit my windshield first destroying it but deflected the tailpipe from a direct hit in my face. I looked over the Indian Chief before I bought my Harley FLSTC it was a cost issue that made up my mind.
