It's such a tasty snack too!!! I've tried to make akara before, but it always sink and absorb a lot of oil. Well, now I know to emulsify the bean batter, before frying! This was a very pleasant video, and easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Chef Rozy, you wanna kill me with that akara,oh yes, I'm akara fan and I enjoyed mine with akum.that's my hubby favourite anyway.the akara looks absolutely delicious and mouthwatering😋
My husband and Mother in law favorite Saturday morning breakfast, this is such a yummy combo,am coming to get some for myself, the akara is so fluffy on the inside and I like the extra vegetables added to it. I know by now my brother and the kids must have finished it I enjoyed it sis
Remarkable! I remember having these, in bread, with a spoonful or two of onion gravy purchased from the ladies who sold their wares in the school cafeteria. You could also buy the same combo from street stalls. Never heard of it being consumed with custard or other 'paps' though. Then again W.Africa does have regional differences in similar dishes, for example the West African Angloshere 'Jollof rice'.
The both methods looks good and delicious. I like how golden brown, light, and soft these Akara looks. It will go so well with the custard . Thanks for sharing.
