I have one problem the city in which i live there are no outdoor bars, literally NO BARS! i can do 15 strict pull ups because of the pull up bar on the door frame. any advice on the muscle up?
TheguyTv hey! I (yannick) went to Miami on a holiday. I had the luck of meeting up with Chris at their old THENX studio! If their is really no outdoor bar in your city we would recommend to look for a gym with pull up bars where you can do muscle ups! Crossfit boxes usually have good bars. Ps, this doesnt mean we say you should start Crossfit 😋
Build you're own bar man. There's gotta be a fabricating shop near you that can help you.

I can do pull up but not easy on muscle up ..i think mayb bcoz my left shoulder or front delt is still injured inside
..now i m learning the swing to the front & pull up to reach my neck only
..really tough to go higher then my neck = )

Hello guys! good channel :) do you guys still not have the strict muscle up? i can do two muscle ups with help from the legs like you guys did on the 6 months progression video. but i want some strict ones. are they so hard? im watching Max True and Chris Heria do 10 strict muscle up with 30 KG extra.. -.-
I can do 5 strict muscle ups in a row now (Michael)! However my goal has been the frontlever & straddle planche lately. You gotta focus bro!
ahh! very nice! how long time did it take you from the start of the 6 month progression and until you had your first strict muscle up? yeah im focusing. but i just got the strenght. Been training hard for 9 months now. almost from scratch. so this is the beginning :D i love the front lever! but that is even longer away. some problems with elbow and shoulder on the way. so i got to take my time. but you guys have been working hard! :D keep it going!

Calisthenics is better and more natural look. It develops very compact muscles as long as a natural look. You will be able to lift a lot but lifters wont be able to do any of this....maybe not even 10 pullups
But if someone is genetically a very skinny person (ectomorph body type), a little bit of weight ressistance is a must.

Be very care doing this if you’re a beginner. You can hurt your shoulders. The part about the Russian Dip needs a how to video all on its own. Before even attempting to learn the Russian Dips you need to be able to do around 15 dips in a row (something most beginners would have to work up to). If you just try to do a Russian Dip without working up to it, you ate highly risking shoulder injury.

Even a straddle takes usually 6-12 months. Lot of exercises between straddle and muscle up

Tip number one avoid leg workouts. Heavy legs=no pullups or muscle ups ;)))) Just buy longer shorts
