@@epitaphcc1117 I didn't say anything about mui to my knowlegde, when I said 2x as powerfull negates damage I meant any character in dragon ball nullifies any attack less then half of their power level thats why you sometimes see characters be completely unfazed by attacks that realistically no real material could stand up against (a good example of 2x power negation is when tenshinhan kikohous buu and it did nothing)

And you're right about making buu regenerating after Frieza exploding the planet even though we see the between the fight with buu and Vegeta, when Vegeta uses the final explosion (that the name of his attack if you played XenoVerse) buu can come back from any damage unless if it's the spirit bomb then yeah.

Future Trunks is the best written character in the series hands down. Absolutely everything he does and says has a meaning behind it. The pain, angst and anguish in every word and action. The selflessness in every decision. An absolutely perfect tragedy of a character.

Just because Saiyans are _*_factually_*_ emotionally stiff, doesn't mean it _never_ means anything to anyone.

The saddest deaths is the Future timeline.
Think about it, this was the original timeline before Cell appeared. It was canonically inevitable that Goku and all the Z-Fighters would die such horrible deaths.
But the fact that even if they won, they would always end up losing? A villain so powerful that the Omni-King needed to erase an entire reality.
Those people in that Future timeline were always prone to never exist. It's like Thanos and Infinity War. No matter how hard the Avengers tried, Thanos was inevitably going to win.

I always wondered if getting erased from existence is the same thing as dying. May it is even worse. After all Zeno erased an immortal being. This always gives me goosebumps.
Well in dragon ball there is something after death but being erased from existence implies disappearing completely
@@kaenanims that's exactly what i mean. Back in DBZ the only known way to vanish from existence was to die again in the afterlife, as mentioned by Goku in the Buu Saga, so being in the afterworld is also a "safe space".

I remember I must've forgotten what series I was watching when I got invested in the fates of all the other universes in the Tournament of Power Arc and how our main characters would live with the ramifications of what they'd done. And then they use the literal magic wishing orbs to undo it.
They even tried adding a bit at the last minute about how the Zeno's would've kept the universes destroyed if someone made a selfish wish, blah blah blah. And I'm just like: "It's okay, Dragon Ball. You're a series without consequences. Just embrace it. Don't try so hard."

Frieza destroying the planet reminded me of just how easily their lives can go downhill.
Seeing people as early as the Sayian saga being able to destroy planetoids, like Piccolo destroying the moon, or claiming they could destroy Earth, like Vegeta with his Galick Gun, reminds me that there are several beings in the multiverse that could rather casually destroy planets.
If both Namek and Earth were destroyed, then the surviving Z fighters wouldn't have much hope for undoing this.
Destroying the planet isn't as hard as destroying a person in this anime, I mean, it's just a rock, it's a puny move actually, "oh I can't kill this guy, let me destroy this planet where we're standing on".

As soon as he and Goku looked at each other, the universes' their revival was as good as confirmed to me.
Since the idea was that Zeno potentially wanted this tournament to reduce the number of universes, I would have liked if instead 17 wished for all 8 universes to be merged into one.
Not only are the universes meant to be "infinite", meaning it should be possible, but it means all the characters from the ToP would have more excuse to show up in the story

Quintella's English voice is really good. Gave the perfect reaction that I was hoping to see from at least one of them.
I am not sure if it counts as a death but when Master Roshi died (or was knocked out I am not too sure) and goku just kept trying to bring him back really hit me in the feels.
Despite this, he kept fighting. Roshi's greatest feat in the tournament was finding a loophole in the tournament rules by using a jar to trap a shadow monster, which would've posed a major threat to Universe 7 if left unchecked AND (in manga) dodging some of Jiren's blows (before getting hit obviously).
Idk but I always imagined Chief Magioinan to be like SSJ2 level because of his performance against Beerus, but most likely, hes just fodder
