Yeah the cookie in the cobbler gives it just that little bit of crunch that you'd get with a crust you'd get from cooking it in a dutch oven. Definitely one of the better MREs I've had.

I've watched like, five or six of your videos back-to-back in random orders. Quality content. Who knew the world of MRE consumption could be so engrossing and entertaining? Certainly not I, until a few hours ago.
I was viewing these for hours the first time I discovered Steve.

I wish they were affordable for the common man. Like, Canada needs to offer MRE's to civilians. Heck, have it be offered in batches of army overstock, able to be bought at a discount at certain stations upon a pledge of financial support.
His stuff was recommended to me by a friend years ago and I’ve been telling people about him ever since. I love it. My friends in the military love it, too.

Had it two times and the pizza is quite good, but the cobbler is godlike. I grew up and still live in the southwest of Germany, so I know at least cobbler-ish stuff with apples. We call it "Ofenschlupfer" (oven crawler). Hot or cold with vanilla sauce and a little powdered sugar... hell yeah! Pizza and cobbler - one of the best MRE I ever had.
The cobbler is good. About as good as any of the other chilis, soups, et al in the heatable wet foods.
The cobbler looks like it would be best with the broken up oatmeal cookie in it.
I really love how positive and appreciative you always are. Too many people review MREs and say negative things the whole time, but you truly enjoy it for what it is. Thank you dude!

They've improved since my day. I liked the chicken stew back in the day. It was one of the few that came with a tiny bottle of hot sauce. Way back when, they used to put a couple Lucky Strike cigarettes in these.

Im not military nor did i serve but a lot of my family did, dad served in the air force, his dad served in the army, my moms dad served in the army, and my moms stepdad served in the navy, and my best friend also served in the navy. Everyone in my unit pretty much agrees about this MRE. The snacks are the best snacks out of any mre usually but the worst entree.
The meatballs in marinara are a step up from this, same snacks but a much better main course.
They should at least have one extra pizza slice, it's a disappointing menu just because of that 😅
