Thank you so much for making this simplified version, I almost cried when I made, it's the first time I ever successfully made curry. It tasted like the ones I remember having in Singapore and your explanation of the 3 main species that make the curry taste like curry really helped me understand why all my past recipes never worked out. I can't wait to try more of your recipes!

Ah Pa, love your simply home made recipes. I love chicken curry especially with roti jala. Usually I rely on premixed sauces. I can't return to KL to stock up, so I'll try making from scratch. Recently I found some Thai supermarkets in Tokyo.

Coriander powder 1tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
Chopped onions, garlic , ginger .... 1 tbsp each

Ratio is always 2-1-1, but u can reduce the amount of each

A combination between chili powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder, makes up for curry powder
