I bought a barely used Godox M600Bi today. I watched your review several times before I got it. Your thorough and detailed review gave me a clear idea and knew the pros and cons. I got it for less than half of the retail with the fresnel included. I couldn't be happier. Thank you for the review.
Thanks man. I appreciate that.
Just ordered this light and I'm so excited to use it! I'll definitely be referencing this video for any help I'll need. Thank you!
Thank You very much for the review. Can't wait for the 1200w series to come out
Iâm trying to have them sending out one but itâs gonna be tough. Letâs seeâŠ
Wow, this video is Full of great details and wonderful demonstrations.
I appreciate it. Thanks for watching!
Thank you very much for sharing
Thanks for reviewing, it is an very interesting light. I am not at the point yet to buy such an expensive light, I just bought my first light, the ML-60Bi. Maybe I don't search good enough, but I don't see reviewers going over the DMX control. Everything on CZcams about DMX seems to be about DJ party lights. Sometimes in movies or commercials you see the scene darkening or brightening up, when I would be buying bright lights I would want that possibility. Maybe you already did, but could you do a video about this and review some lights on their DMX features?
Your the best bro!!! Thanks
i would love to see a video where you are talking about what your light bill is! lol running 600 watts in your studio ! !!
Thatâs nothing. The HVAC is the scary one, especially the heating for the winter season đ€Ł
After watching this video make set my mind to save and buy 1 o 2 of those lights
Thanks man. Glad I can help! đ
If you plant to get themâŠPlease use my links in the description. It helps the channel and my links donât cost anything extra to you. đ
i hope you got your commission from me! mines came Tuesday, haven't opened it up yet but thanks for this info!
Hey man, thanks a lot! I guess you bought from BH? I donât see it on Amazon⊠what? You havenât opened it yet? Iâd be all over that package the second it would get there đ€Ł. Thatâs what I did when I got mine.
@@ArtVideoProductions na, i got it off amazon , which it was delivered from adaroma?
i like... thanks for showing
Thanks for watching đ
Would have really liked to see the brightness readings done from both lights done at 3 meters. Cool review though.
At 3 meters itâs simple. Whatever light source, brand or type, you lose 75% of the intensity from where you started⊠Thatâs the inverse square law. Light falls drastically as soon as you move it away a mere 1 foot. So, at that 3M distance, that 740 watts from the initial reading will âfeel likeâ 250 watts if you willâŠ
Research the inverse square law for lighting. Many available here on CZcams. Knowing this is extremely important.
@@ArtVideoProductions Because most will be using the light at 3 meters or more is why its important to measure the 75% fall off so as to really see the bigg fall of between them. At 1 meter you won't really notice much of a difference between them, but at 3 meters away, u notice which one has the most loss in intensity.
@@akpevbe no problem. Next time I have a chance to use this light, Iâll post here for you. And once again, thank you very much for watching my videos đ
Do you think the m600d being cheaper would be fine in most situations for interviews/Documentary work? or bi color is the way to go?
Get the M600Bi. Bicolor is always good to have. Plus the power of a 600 watt whenever you need. Tye m600 is cheaper because the Bi has different technology, being as bright as the m600 as I mentioned.
Hi sir very good vĂdeos every time, for what is going to be better in quality price the GVM 600 what bicolor or this Godox bicolor light, and can you do a compare video please between this lightâs?
Thanks. If you watch the both detailed videos GVM SD600D (bicolor) and the KNOWLED M600Bi you should be able to decide between them both. The Godox m600Bi is brighter, 730 watts, and more expensive. NowâŠIf youâre looking for or need FX, the Godox is also better.
Unfortunately, I have a very busy schedule with my company, so, time to do these side by side comparisons on video is rather difficult to do.
@@ArtVideoProductions so you recommend the Godox one better than the GVM, even if the GVM like $600 dollars less in price?
@@yaselsax8943 I think, for color accuracy without the bells and whistles, either one Godox or GVM will do great. I still have them both and use them both. The Godox ballast and head is more robust, slightly more powerful. Thatâs the price difference again.
Hi I am big fan of your videos I have a question I know the apture 600x is more money but how does it compare to the Godox 600 bi
The only thing the Aputure would win would be the built in FX. Other than that⊠the M600Bi is practically similar performance
Thank you for always your quick respond another question if I may hows the Godox Knowled m600bi stack up. I when to your you tube channel I saw nothing about it. I need a powerful unit for my kit. Just a quick background of my work. I do everything from interviews, indie movies, sizzle reel, branding spots (if it move i shoot it) mostly a DP but getting a lot of calls to be a gaffer with gear Thxs for your time n videos
I meant the Nanlite Forza 720bi
Hello any idea about if you going to review the 1200w version of this light?
Godox refuses to send to ANYONE.
@Art Video Productions too bad for them. I bought the 600MB because of your review. Hopefully, they change they mind
@@gsanchez922 thanks man! As for the 1200 watt one⊠they wonât. They say itâs not in their plans to send to anyone. they sent likeâŠ12 of those M600s to CZcamsrs, why not 6? Or 1! Itâs only twice the price on the 600.
what happens if the electricity gets cut off? will it damage the gear?
Not at all. But just avoid that.
@@ArtVideoProductions thank you so much.
Thanks for this. Can you compare the fan noise to the 600d? Is it the same?
Identical
Donât forget that you can turn the fan off and at 20% itâs brighter than a Godox FV-150
Cool. Thanks for the review. Yours is the only review I can find, and I want to buy the light. Seems like there is no reason to get the 600d of the brightness and fan noise are the same, since you get the added benefit of variable color temp.
@@ChrisBucklin Iâm not sure if youâre subscribed to this channel, but just so you know Iâm the first to get these products. FV-150, TL-30, TL-60, ML60, ML-30, UL150II, M600D, M600Bi, SZ-150R, SZ200bi. All of these, my channel was the first to get and review ahead of everyone else on CZcams. And when I review something, itâs always in absolute detail.
@@ArtVideoProductions Subbed. Thanks.
Will the Fls10 fit on a godox Ad600???
If it has Bowens mount then yes. The A600BM is, not sure about the AD600 if it is Bowens mount. However, the FLS10 will be VERY front heavy. If the ad600 tilt part is made of plastic, then, no. Donât do it.
@@ArtVideoProductions the ad600 is about 6lbs with the battery and yes the tilt part is plastic
