I got the 1.9 Patagonia’s on my gen8 axe and they are legitimately at home on the rocks. That is where they shine. Love these tires absolutely recommend them.
I got the Roc Lox and the Baja Claw. Both are awesome sets.

I agree. Friend of mine runs them on the jeep and it actually doesn't look that bad.
I got the Patagonias on my deadbolt. Great tires but now I wish I has gotten the scramblers. Guess I'll have to order a set
I picked up some Rok Lox for my SCX24 based on a recommendation from a friend, but after seeing this video and the size/tread comparison I got some Patagonias on the way!

The rok lox aren’t that great but they look really nice on the jeep and do pretty good
Perfect and to the point! Just what I was looking for! Only one thing woulda been nice is a squish test to see how much sidewall flex.

@@jayf2487 i bought them from hobby town, they are the classic 8 hole wheels, haven't mounted them yet because I still haven't received them because i had some out of stocks items on the same order as well and only recently shipped.
The first set of new tyres i got for my scx24 were the rock creepers but feel they are a tad too small so im gonna order the patagonias today thanks to your vid. Much appreciated thank you!

I've tried like 4 sets of different rc4wd tires and I liked them all besides the dirt grabbers they just feel way too hard I won't even mount them lol.

@@1Almightydeez yes you can glue the Patagonia on the stock rims, I did that until I got some beadlocks.
I run the Mickey Thomsen Baja Claws on my SCX 24 Wrangler ,nice gripping on wet rocks.How well they work you can watch on my channel.
I have the rock creepers and they are awesome. I wish they were bigger though, like maybe the size of the Patagonia’s, that would be perfect. I may be trying the Patagonia’s, but I love the tread pattern of the rock creepers the most.
I feel the same way about the creepers. Love how they look and perform, just want them a little bigger.

I got a set of Patagonia's in today, and was expecting them to be quite a bit bigger than the stock ones based on this video. They're clearly nearly double the width, but in diameter they're pretty much the same size as the stock ones on my Jeep JLU, perhaps even a smidge smaller. Then again, the tires on my Jeep JLU look nothing like the ones you mention to be stock. Are they C10 stocks perhaps?
The wranglers are supposed to be stock on the jlu. They are supposed to be bigger than the ones on the c10. The c10 comes with bfg krawler ta tires which should be a little smaller than the jlu wranglers. The Patagonia tires, yes they are wider and about the same size as the stock c10. Did I understand that comment correctly?
@@BuyitBreakitFixit Almost, the patagonia's are about the same diameter as the stock tires on the Jeep Wrangler JLU, which makes them quite a bit bigger than those on the C10's if I'm not mistaken.
Either way, I'm about to test them but they feel sooooo sticky and they look amazing, especially seeing how massively wide they are compared to the stock tires on the jeep.

Yep I might have to do a custom build on one of my ecx barrage 1:25 I got a twin of one I already own by accident lol I’m thinking a cage and now seeing those massive tires that would be nuts if I get to it lol
In 2024 What would be some of the best tire choices for grip, especially smooth surfaces like rocks? Any really soft, sticky compounds that stand out? Im looking for an average size, not a larger tire. I'm new to crawling and i'm trying to get the best tire on the first try without having to switch to something else later.

Dirt grabbers in a 1.55 size make a great choice for a 1/10 scale trailer build.
They really made my trailer look good.

The rod lox aren’t much of an upgrade from the stock but they look really good on the jeep

Anyone tried the Patagonia on Kyosho Mini z with Treal beadlock wheels? Just curious if it'd work or too much for the servo.
Will the patigonia's fit well on the C10?? They look a little big but I'm wanting them.
I think they would might have to do more trimming than what you want. Pretty sure they would fit. I still haven't gotten them on mine yet.
Got a set of Baja claws on my Betty don’t like them gonna try and soften them up and see if that helps
Should help. I have read about guys scrubbing them with simple green and that softens them. Don't soak them for long.

Sor4y about that, should of done that. I try to remember everything that others would want to know. I think they ar3 all pretty comparable but I am sure they have slight differences.

I have rock crushers, they great
Crushers are what I am currently running and love them. They get wide when mounted to the stamped wheels and look so cool.
I have foam in my 1/10 rc but do I need foam in the SCX24 tires?
Really up to you. Some have commented that they run no foam in theirs.

Ok, that comment made me get up and look. Been a while since I have messed with the 24. They kinda share a similar tread pattern but the stock has bigger lugs and is more round.

Each scx24 comes with different tires from the factory.

I haven't tried them. They seem to be good for a scale build or stay out of mud for sure. Tread pattern is pretty close. Might do good on rocks and general trailing.

Not 100% sure about that. The patagonia looks promising and I have heard good things about them. And it would depend on the amount of weight of your truck too.

I really have no idea. I don't own a deadbolt but they do seem to have the most room for tires. Think they scramblers are the largest then the wranglers which come on the jeep. I would think the deadbolt would take them all.

How did you get them off the c10 rims
I didn't take them off. I have an extra set.
Could you put a Velineon 3s system in a 1/16 e-revo? I’ve seen some on other channels, but they don’t really have good video quality
The vxl 1/16 e-revo comes with a 3s velineon system. I have some footage on my channel. It gets hot but it is capable and says so in the book.
the 3500 (550 sized) version. I was at the hobby shop, and one of the employees said they put one of them in their 1/16
Ohh, geez. That would be crazy. Still run 3s on the vxl system, no reason to have the 1/10 motor in there. This system on 3s will do unstoppable backflips one after another. It is sick. The diffs can't even handle that. Not sure what he did to make it handle that but he for sure did something or breaks it everytime.😁
