    Thanks for pointing out how hard and time consuming it is for people to get citizenship in the UK. I’ve seen a lot of CZcamsrs making it sound easy and some have said it can take 5 years on the work visa which is wrong. The Uk work visa gives you 5 years then you have to apply for ILR and wait for another 1 year before you can apply for citizenship. Add all of that up and you’re clocking nearly 7 years. I know someone who got their Canadian passport in 4 years 😂

    By the way, there are pathways to medical practice in Canada without having to write exams. I came here directly from Nigeria, and I didn't have to write any exams, not even IELTS. To be unambiguous, I am currently licensed by the CPSO, and practicing in Toronto.

      You didn't do a single thing at all? How so? Is there something to bridge that? Even pharmacist write exams!
      Out of curiosity, doesn't the requirement to get licenced by cpso requires a thing or two. Trainings etc, you must also have gone through the evaluation process with mcc. Except you did your medical college in canada or say US.

    In my opinion, if not just because of long time waiting for ILR and housing issues in UK, I will always prefer UK to Canada. Canada will give you easy PR but even with the PR, it will still take many years to achieve your dream in your profession. UK ILR takes time but within those times you must have achieved what you want. Some people that relocated to UK as ordinary carer have become registered nurses even before they get their ILR. UK needs patience and at last you will be glad. The issue is that many people want it so fast. They prefer getting PR faster than growing in their profession. That's why they prefer Canada.

    UK winters can be very cold too. Depends on where you live in the UK. In the north of Scotland in UK, we also get temperatures of -17 or -21 during winter in some places. In some parts of England, they also get temperatures as low as -8 or -10

      @user-ql8vh6mi3t Před 11 měsíci

      Yes I agree. Even most of the people I know living in the UK are complaining about the cold here. The UK is really cold. Even when it doesn't snow you will realize it's still very cold. And it really affects. And for that. My best season is summer where you see people trooping out. Bars, restaurant, hotels and public places flooded with visitors. I really enjoy summer because it's season when I dress so cool and high fashion and admire my fashion as well, rather than wearing bogus jackets and Sweaters when it's cold. And the thing is that you never get tired of summer that's it. But it gets the point when you'd have enough of the cold and too much cold is not good for the human body and that is why it is medically recommended to get sufficient sun for the body to increase the vitamin D level and your melatonin as well.

    Thank you very much for this detailed comparison...I am currently on a crossroads of which to pick for studies just that Canada's problem is application fees and you certainly cant apply to one school and be guaranteed of gaining admission

    • @suleeha
      @suleeha  Před rokem +1

      That’s the wahala with Canada, unlike Uk that’s free. if you apply to 3 schools you have to pay for same. I like to advice people to factor at least 2schools application fee so that way you wait for results.
      Some people have partnerships with oth some schools and they wave application fees you can explore that

      @@suleeha Thank you for the comparison, please I will like to know, can your family join you in Canada after you've gotten PR and they will also get PR just like UK where your family can join you on ILR even if they just moved to the UK ?

    Is the OAUC route a better way to apply to plenty schools in Canada with the same application fee?

    Your analysis is very insightful and informative. I reside in edinburgh and considering relocating to canada. Your analysis is helping make a decision. but if you can be more extensive concerning the cost living, tax and salary in canada compare to the uk, that will really help to make my final decision. Thank you.

      Thank you for watching. in my videos about challenges, i think i mentioned briefly about the cost of living. statistically, it is more in Canada but the truth of the matter it is not far from each other, inflation is not helping either. what is your field?

      Some people are financially incapable. So weighing their options is very key.

      He can move to get a diploma. All he needs is his Waec result. Different schools for different requirements. Let him do his research

    Great video! Just to clarify, All post secondary schools in Canada charge tuition fees for their programs for PR and Canadian citizens, and is lower than international students fee. The provincial govt can loan you the fee after admission and you pay back when you are done. To clarify, is not free after secondary education. Thank you.

    • @suleeha
      @suleeha  Před rokem +2

      Thank you for contributing. I agree it is not free. In Ontario for example there is something they call OSAP. They give you grant and also offer to Loan you to cover somethings. If you decide to take the loan you return after 6months of the course but the grant is given for free with no intention of returning.
      Ofcourse after checking all the things that are required. That was the context I was speaking from.
      Again thank you for watching.
