BSS1LPB Radar Blind Spot “BAR” is based on microwave radar technology for extended distance and sensitivity. BSS1LPB adds an extra set of eyes and warns the driver if there are any vehicles approaching in either blind spot before and during a lane change maneuver.
Our system uses GPS to initiate operation above 20 MPH eliminating potential fault alerts. Unlike other systems, it requires no drilling or removal of vehicles bumpers. Radar Sensor “BAR” installs top or bottom of the tag/license plate and alerts the driver with two compact LED Indicators mounted on the “A” Pillars and a small hideaway speaker.
This Microwave system is more accurate than previous ultrasonic based sensor solutions from other companies.
The kit also includes newly revised “Reverse Cross Traffic Alerts” for backing/reversing out of a tight space when visibility is limited while vehicles are approaching from the left or right side.

How is the performance compared to the BSS2? BTW, I love the CM-HD4 in my car.
Hello I purchased the same product for my Rav4 2013 LE, can you please advise where should I connect the signal trigger wires, front or rear? thanks for your help.
they got it right but do those led indicators come in black finish cause there's no way anybody with a black interior gonna mount those they just wouldn't match
each kit comes with black and grey covers for indicators

@@rydeenmobileusa I installed this item on my Mini Cooper Countryman F60.The LED get triggered only if the next vehicle is very close and overtaking.If the vehicle passes on the next lane, it does not trigger!.
@@varmaTrini Hi! Make sure to have installer call tech support when they are working on the vehicle. The unit is programmed to only give you alerts on approaching vehicles, for aftermarket solution its difficult to understand the difference between parked cars on side of the road or big enough objects like walls, street signs, mailboxes so we made sure our system only alerts for approaching vehicles. Alerts of approaching vehicles are what's most important to let the driver know of an approaching vehicle, motorcycle, truck.

There is a trigger wire connected to the vehicles reverse signal.
