I Watched Avengers: Endgame in 0.25x Speed and Here's What I Found

Hey everyone, I'm The Canadian Lad and I have watched Avengers: Endgame God knows how many times! But recently I watched Endgame in point 25x speed and I have to say, I noticed some details that are kind of not easy to pay attention to while watching the movie in regular speed. So, I have made a list of things that I noticed which you may have missed and this video is all about that. So let's begin.

*Response to some of the questions you guys are asking:*
- Yes, I did notice Howard the Duck. But so did many other scoops websites and CZcamsrs, that's why didn't put it in the list.
- The sequence of Mantis putting one of the troops of Thanos to sleep, Nope, didn't miss that either.
- The continuity error in the final battle from the VFX Department when suddenly the Stormbreaker in Thanos' hand switches to his sword, that's a mistake. I didn't include any mistakes from the movie in this video except for "Pepper shooting at nothing" 😜
- During the whole slow-mo of this movie, the Vormir scenes were the most boring ones to sit through.
- Apart from the final battle, The 2012 New York scenes, Tony Stark & Cap going back in 1970 were the most enjoyable scenes to watch in Slow-motion. There were tons of details there!
- I have a list of more things that I noticed but those aren't as relevant as these ones (that you saw in the video). For example: Thor has Hulk and Iron Man PEZ dispensers in his room next to Stormbreaker (51:35 of the movie).
Apart from all these, I'm a new CZcamsr and I'm a Marvel fanatic (if you may say so), I'm really really humbled by the positive response this video has been getting. Did you see the sun metaphor in this movie? Let me explain:
On infinity war, Thanos said something like "the sunrise of a grateful universe" and when he accomplish his goal, he goes to "the garden" to take some rest and he is seeing at a sunrise.
On endgame, when he lost against the avengers, right before he is turning into dust, you can see the sunset right at his back.

They did at least 1 mistake though. When they went back in time and Captain America meet his own self and they both fight with each, you can see the previous Cap looks good and his outfit is very clean. Take note that the scene is suppose to be after the fight and Cap really look banged up at the end of the 1st Avengers movie.

Thanos went in unprepared and without the gauntlet and still almost won.
Having biggest army in the Galaxy and element of surprise helps! Avengers had no clue that their arses are about to get bombed back to the stone age. So...
True but he has the gauntlet when Thor showed up with Stormbreaker and with all the stones couldn't stop it from going into his chest. But in Endgame was easily defending against it!? 🤔 With just his own strength? 🤷🏽♂️
Good point! I got an idea though: Thanos in the Infinity War was too proud after beating most of the Avengers and underestimated Thor’s attack somehow (he kinda played with the flying Stormbreaker, not using the maximum power of the gauntlet maybe?); but in the End Game, Thanos was more aware of how dangerous the Avengers could be so he was in the beast mode (maximum strength).
He's not that powerful in the comics.

Well they weren't together because they aren't prepared for Thanos.
I also think they lost because they didn't have the will to sacrifice themselves to save the universe. In Infinity War everyone was so worried with keeping Vision alive or emotionally affected by the events that they started to lose strength as a group and lost. On the other hand, on Endgame, they were willing to do "whatever it takes" to bring back the ones who died and destroy Thanos, even killing themselves (Black Widow and Tony in this case)

And in the picture of pepper that you froze it seems like she isn't shooting at anything but at that time she was rotating while already blasting two drones and then again blasting two other in the next frame. I love watching these. I picked up one detail that actually debunks your other video about why Thanos Bleeds. Thor makes him bleed when he strikes him in the chest and the weapon is now covered with purple blood. The little details are crazy. I think they messed up by not making his blood purple when iron man punches him.
I realised Dr. Strange asked Wong “is that everyone” because nobody opened a sling ring to Captain Marvel which explains why she had to make a late entrance.
Plot convenience. If she arrives before, the battle will be more shorter.

I always assume that because she could have been anywhere in the galaxy they didn’t bother trying to find her and just sent a message for help. It’s also possible that if she was on the battlefield at the start something would be different and they’d loose so Doc made sure she was late because that had to happen for them to win.

it was actually for the Dark Phoenix X-Men/Deadpool teams, they wanted to arrive into the battle, but Marvel Studios, Marvel Studios fans and Disney didn't want ANY of them involved because, apparently, the X-Men are black (?!)
Other little things I didn’t see/realize in normal speed either:
1. I didn’t peep How close Thor & Cap actually came to forcing stormbreaker into Thanos neck/chest during the fight for the gauntlet. (Scene where cap jumps on Thanos back to help Thor)
2. While black panther is running the gauntlet across the field, there’s a quick moment in the background of Giant-Man stuffing one of those giant Chitauri ships into a doctor strange portal.
3. During the avengers charge, you can see Hulk speed past the others to the enemy side of the field which explains why moments later he is seen jumping in from the enemy side of the screen slamming a enemy vehicle into the floor
4. At 2:19:32 of the movie Iron man Uses his “one-shot” weapon from iron man 2. The 360 red laser attack that annihilates Iron mans surrounding enemies (but he can only use once lol)
About that "one-shot" weapon, he actually improved it with the new suit he made in the first Avengers movie. He was able to use the laser multiple times.

MisterBurgerBeachball1225 also it’s been how long since iron man part 2? It’s definitely common sense that he upgraded the laser all this time. Especially with his nano-tech. Basically every armor after his mark VI has upgraded laser tech. Regardless, in The scene I refer in avengers endgame, Iron man uses the laser in a 360 motion like he did in Iron man 2
Something I noticed but havent seen too many people talk about:
While Scott and Hope are supposed to be fixing the van/time machine, in the background of the next couples shots you can see Giant Man forcing a Chitauri whale through a portal, despite him supposedly in a the van
One thing that I never notice the first time I watch the movie, was the Wasp's flying kick seconds before Antman punch that leviathan. Of course, the scene had many things to pay attention.

Stop being lazy and assuming things just because you can't read. Actually look at what I wrote before being all weird about it.
The reason why the Avengers lost in Infinity War is the exact same reason why Thanos lost in Endgame. Let me explain. Thanos had been planning this for a long time. He knew about the Avengers since 2012 but learned about other important pieces along the way all while the Avengers were preoccupied with rogue AI and civil wars. The Avengers were caught off guard and unprepared by an enemy who knew them well. They mustered a last-minute defense and were steam rolled hence the snap and just to cement their lack of knowledge when Thanos snaps his fingers Thor is confused and asks “what did you do?” No one knows what just happened until the snap takes effect: they lost. Now cut to Endgame. This Thanos is of course much younger but also from 2014. Why is that so important? Because in 2014 there was no Ultron, no Vision, no Scarlet Witch, no Doctor Strange, no Ant-Man and the Wasp, no Spider-Man, and many other absentees. The pieces aren’t in place yet and in his haste, Thanos jumps forward a whole nine years to face a battered enemy. One who has already fought him and knows what’s at stake. One that knows they cannot fail again and this time it’s Thanos who assembled a hasty effort to stop an enemy he knew nothing about. In short, the Avengers in Infinity War were unprepared and going up against someone who knew them well and had planned carefully, and in Endgame Thanos went unprepared against a foe who knew him well and was prepared. First of all why repeat half of the video as a comment? And second: it is complete nonsense, Thanos didn't know everything in infinity war and neither did the avengers in endgame. Thanos already got the power stone at the beginning of infinity war and as we see in endgame didn't really need it to fight, but then got the other stones because auf luck.
And the Avengers won in the end because they were together, that's the whole point of tony when he argued with Rogers. Thanos had his complete force with him and was not alone like in infinity war, saying that the Avengers were better prepared, after the false nebula lead thanos into the future is just plain stupid....

Well ok, yes. It needed a lot more than attention to detail, starting with a completely new script, and entirely different leadership with an actual vision for the movies. What I mean is, in End Game, almost everything is paid off, loose ends are tied up, character arcs completed, whereas the Star Wars sequal are a masterclass in bad wordbuilding and storytelling.

I recently re watched Endgame and found a detail during the Trinity's battle against Thanos. Just as after Thanos broke Cap's shield and deploys his army. Cap stood up and tightens the strap of his shield. For some they'll simply say that Cap is just getting ready for one hell of a fight but if you look really closely, Cap actually uses the strap as a tourniquet for the open wound in his left arm.

Guess Pepper is just not a warrior. No matter how experienced of a business woman she seems to be; some people just don't belong on a battlefield. And an Iron Man-armour doesn't make an Iron Man.
