I was thinking the same thing. What would a school advocating for a ceasefire in a foreign country do? Go to the country itself and protest. Now that I think about it, doesn't it take two sides to call a ceasefire? If Hamas and them would stop sending missiles towards Israel and U.S. Forces, I am pretty sure Israel would chill out.
It's not just that, Yale holds thousands of shares from defense/weapons manufacturers that help aid the bombings of Palestinians. That's what it's really about, but the media really doesn't even share that information.
Institutions have power. Academics have power. They won’t be able to pick up a phone and call for an end of the conflict but it certainly can start to create a turn of the tide that puts pressure on Washington. These institutions have lots of close connections with Politicians

I think we should start considering raising the voting age to at least 25.

News media still getting confused between protestors who want Israel to stop war crimes versus protestors who are "pro-Palestinan". Those are two different things. Any American has a right to demand publicly and vociferously that Israel stop committing war crimes. Those being arrested for doing so need to get a lawyer.
