thank you :)
Thank you 💖
LStevens0808 thank you.
Thanks, the talking was too much!!! We just was to see the take down
😲really! Geesh
I personally think that when they start looking rough, that's when they look the best because they look the most authentic. I have had so many loc'ed dudes stopping me, telling me how beautiful my locs are, and asking how long I have been budding.
And I'm like, uhhhhh......a month? Lol.
GIRL 😭😭😭😭
Seriously same
Yup I had mine in since May and it's not July and they r looking great!!
I KNOWWWWAH! I really need to take my one and a half month old locs out but THEYRE JUST NOW STARTING TO LOOK GOOD LOLZ

I know the feeling, when I do a protective styles I want my natural back, just to wash it and take care of it, lol!!
girl yes!! lollll it took a whole 5 hours for me to be like... ok when should I take these out lol
Thank You!! Because SHEESH!!!
Lool same. I miss my hair instantly
Yea i miss my hair after a while too
Knowing myself, I would take out the braid and then cut the dread short to take it out faster lol
I had to do this for my bonus daughter today and I was clueless. I also did not want to cut them out because I wasn't certain if I would be able to determine WHERE to cut. This video was PERFECT! It helped me tremendously so thank you so much!!
I got individual faux locs and crochet faux locs for the first time and now it is time to take it out. I had no idea how to do it. After watching this, i feel like I learned a magic trick 😀
Thank you! For some reason I figured removing them would be so much more complicated haha thanks for making it look so simple!!!
yea its a simple job, anyone can do it! you're welcome!
Thank you so much for posting this take down tutorial...its so much easier than others that I have seen.
Bless you! Mine were so tight I couldn’t sleep and this was so helpful
Jess you really have helped the whole 3 years I’ve been natural.. thank you so much for this vid I’ve had my locs in for 2months😂😂😂 I NEEDED THIS
Same 🤣. Now I’m tryna figure out how to get these hoes out
What if you’re not able to pull your hair out before taking the loc out? 🤔
I want to know how many people really were able to take out their fuex locs especially the ones in the back in under 20 minutes I'll wait....
Good Question
It has taken me 20 mins to do the back row
Super helpful video! I put the same beads and gold string in my hair when I do protective styles!
glad this helped!
Thank you so much for this video!!! You’ve saved my weekend!
Omggg I needed this. Literally saved me I have hair in my head right now that’s just like that and I hate it
Thank you so much
Been trying to unbraid for sometime now but I didn’t know how
With the help of this video .. I have been able to unbraid in less than 20 minutes without having to go back to the salon
Thank you so much
Chile.. thanks for making it so simple and keeping the video short! I’ve had dreads for 18 years and my daughter kills me with these new styles.
Oh my god THANK YOU for this. I had my locs in for four months and the roots were just looking rough. At least when I finally (just this second) finished taking mine out, I noticed how much faster my hair grew LOL
The best ever!! Thank you🙏🏽👍🏼
Thank u! I had no idea it wld b so easy!
You made it so simple Thank you❤
Thanks for the information!!!! Your style was beautiful!!!😍😍😍
You're welcome, and thank you!!
Thanks! This helped me take my out easy!
Yayyyy I don’t feel bad I had mine in for a month I’m not ready for this style 😂😂😂
I love nappy looking locs!
Thanks. Very simple. Great great job. 👊🏾
I do goddess locks with other hair and I get the matted look as well. Idk if there's a trick for that.
Best video I've seen so far
I can't wait for the new natural hairstyles that are incoming!!!!!
they coming boo, they coming
Trust me it’s not only you, this brand of hair gets rough looking and catchy within the first week. It starts looking dry shortly after installation. This hair was also VERY heavy on my head. I only used 5 1/2 packs, instead of 7, or 8 because my hair is thick and long. I will be trying a different brand of hair if I do these again.
This video is a life saver!
Ok but no one with locs calls it dreads tho. We call them locs.
Just saying
Thank you!! Ugh she made me mad
It’s the same thing lmao y’all annoying
People get those mixed up a loc. I guess because dreadlocks was the original name everyone used before there were even faux locs..
Tara Quinch white people made it into dreadlocks. It’s super offensive & not the right term
I know a rasta who calls them natty dreds, it just goes from person to person
hey I love your videos sometime my mom goes to work and she don't have time to do my hair so I watch your video with you do my hair and you really help me a lot thank you
aw thanks loveeee
rdc
Thank you for this video! These things was about to be in for another month if I didn't find this 😂
Thank you this was so helpful 😊😊
So my hair is really soft , and I just want to know if this style will break my hair off or thin out my edges .
Thank you! I paid 355 for my hair last Friday, and I’ve already had to go back and get them redone because they were unraveling and slipping out. No way I’m payin another dime until I get the right hair. That’s my lesson. A faux loc Faux pas
Damn $355!? I paid $200
@@jaylove1931 everybody feeling like heroes bc they still work on people and “expose” themselves and so will overcharge due to that.
400
Guys I buy the locks online and do it myself. CZcams is full of methods and its not hard. Yall better save some money cuz this shit ain't worth it. We can do it by ourselves like I swear DON'T PAY MONEY. do it yourself.
@@Norawarsame yooo same here!! I literally just took out my faux locs and decided to rock them naturally now that they got a little hang time! But I would watch step by step videos and practiced on one piece on hair over and over until I finally got it right!
Now?? You can’t stop me! I got people thinking im getting em done professionally!
9 hrs later, I'm finally done! Whew yall stick with it. This video helped
Thank u. This was very helpful. Its just going to take a while lol im going to need to take some time off
Thank you so much 😊 for this video I needed it 🥰
Thank you Mrs.Lady for helping me take down my hair. You are really helpful and nice.
Thank you! I've had mine in 1 week too but I have Nu Locs by Bobbi Boss and they dont snag and are lightweight.. I'm gonna keep mine in for a month or so. I'll see how they fare...
Tara Quinch i did mine a month ago and they’re hold up well only 2 of my real braids popped out but it still looks fine I jus miss me real hair 😩
This was helpful. Thanks!
Thank you so much ❤️🤗
Also just a question, is Marley better or Kankalon?
And would it be easier to cut the loop Since my hair is stubs anyways, there’s not a lot to unwind.
Beautiful!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! lol...I was struggling before I watched your video! lol
Great video!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I loveeeee this style on you.
Stay Beautiful Melanated Queen
thank you!
Your hair looks so good. Why take them out after only a week?
Thanks! Cut a few of my plaits b4 seeing this video.
It's not just that brand, I am wearing Bobbi Boss Nu locs and they did the same.
best method ever
nice & simple take down..works 4 me
lol thank you
That was very simple and easy
Thanks! I feel like it seems harder than what it is until you actually see someone do it.
Okay easy! Thanks
Dang you took them out after a week 😂 I thought I was taking mine out early it’s been a month
Thanks!
Ok so I have a question. I'm taking out my crouche this weekend but I have to wear my natural hair to school on Monday. So knowing my hair, the ends are going to be really knappy. So I wanted to know how you can make the ends of your hair look more defined. Not like a Krimp or anything. Just so that it doesn't look like a big well, blob of hair at the end.
for me, i just put some gel on the tips of my fingers and kinda coil my ends
OnlyOneJess omg thank you!!!😁
My pop out all over lol
How long does this style last?
Hey Jess girl! Quick question, where did you get your hair jewelry from
my local beauty supply store for 1 dollar.
Had mine done for the first time it did the same thing they were really I didn't like them I had to keep them in for about a month because I had them done in the shop which cost me a lot so I won't get them done again I just didn't like the hair they were really Tangled my hair was coming through I was very disappointed the thing is I love the way they look but they're very hard to manage and very tingly
Locs!!!
My head didn’t hurt at all
can you please do a hair care routine
yes that will be up next week i promise!
THATS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME i have only had line in for a week and they are so tangled together.
Depends on the hair you use, how you sleep with them, who did them and how rough you are with them
My hair won’t pop out of the loc
LEGAL.
Who did your locs and how long did you have them in for
i did them and they were in for maybe 2 weeks.
Oh wow, i had mine done “professionally” on Saturday its only been 5 days and they are falling out and they are supposed to be in for 2 months. I just threw away $200
😲😳
2:00
Ok, for those of us with 5 inch nails now can we do
This? Lol
1 week!
If only I watched this video when I had butterfly locs
@2:12
Video starts at 2:12
It not you fault that happened to me a I didn’t do the Curls
Why are mine not doing this
I’m 2 1/2 days into taking these faux locs out. It’s been like 15 hrs & it’s exhausting.
My faux locs are too tight to do this unfortunately
Did you already see hair growth
thanks
got you
😀😀
The method works but I’d def takes more than 20 mins
Whoa a week? Lol... yeah no Bueno. I'm taking mine out after 1 month. I won't be doing this look again either
1 week n they are popping out already
Try Bobbi boss faux locs I heard they are better.
yea I seen some videos on those they look a lot sturdier
Ain't doing this again 😭
But none of my hair is sticking
Idk what you done wrong but my hair never pops out and the dreads I use or not heavy at all I don’t even feel any weight. I’ve never had a headache after putting them in and I do them myself. Wrong hair or it’s how your doing them. Sorry.
Well this was recorded 5 years Ago and now there’s much more techniques on how to do this. So I would hope everyone has learned a better way to do this by now lol
Always remember: Jesus loves you and wants to build a relationship with you!
Repent and turn to Him because He is coming soon!
Unfortunately my stylist braided my hair in the loc WTF and hid it good
So what was your method of removal? Because I believe mine is the same
@@KaVinasContent if I remember correctly she twisted the braid(my hair) into a knot and added the hair somehow. I had to dampen it because the way she installed it. Unravel the twist to the top but since she put my hair and the twist hair in a knot that’s where i got frustrated lol 😝
@@jeanine7411able yes so I’m unraveling my faux locs today and it doesn’t seem that the stylist tied the braid in a knot, however I can tell she twisted multiple strands of hair together creating different twisting patterns. So basically I can’t simply just unravel the outer hair I have to keep finding new pieces of hair to unravel if that makes any sense. I’m a bit frustrated to say the least.
locs not dreads. dreads is not the proper term and it's one that's offensive
Why is it offensive?
Micha'l Hayes black people didn’t have fine hair like whites people so they had to loc their hair so their for white ppl called them dreads shot for dreadful 🤷🏾♀️
kawan clinton some people are just so used to hearing it that they end up saying it too and it becomes a habit it’s only offensive if they are trying to be offensive
@@ricardobriscoe4157 oh wow never knew that. Grew up mostly hearing the term dreads. Sometimes locs but never saw anyone get offended or correct another person for saying dreads. Interesting learn something everyday
I had locs and i used to call them dreads out of habit but they’ve become such a staple that most people don’t find that term offensive
This only works if your loc wasn't wrapped. It's hell trying to get them off when the faux loc is wrapped with Marley hair. 😒
I’m sorry i couldn’t even watch this video cause she kept saying dread. The proper word is LOCS. Educate yourself properly 🥴
This doesn’t work for anyone that didn’t do their own locks and who got them professionally done.
It's not working :((((
did u get them?
great video,i make videos too and will love it if you check it out xoxo
3:02 "You kind of have to play with it to get it lose" Sorry my dirty minded ass is here.
THEY ARE LOCS NOT DREDS
It’s not that serious 😂
