I’ve been watching videos of how to take them down and I haven’t gotten them yet but now I’m second guessing 😂😂 because it’s a cute and protective style and I wanna try sum new but if it takes some days to take down then... mane I might reconsider my vacation hairstyle
this is one of the fastest take downs to me 😭 but i've learned it all depends on how the stylist (or you) put them in... the method i did in my soft locs tutorial is what makes this removal easy 😭😭

nope! it was actually easier to put back in because the hole at the top of the locs got a little wider so it was easier. i did take out of the curly hair i wrapped around it just to make it look more fresh

Thanks for the video but this still doesn’t help me 😩 Plus there’s about 2-3 layers of hair wrapped around each of my braids and the bottom one is super tangled. Long story short, love this look but I’ll NEVER get it again. Just not worth the headache of taking it out.
everyone installs them differently so i’m so sorry 😭 it really shouldn’t be hard at all but everybody has their own installation method. i would try asking the stylist personally how to take them out and see if that helps 😭😭

My hair is almost the full 36 inches and let me tell you, some hair is as easy as pulling out a sock, other times… the loc doesn’t really survive after all the pulling and tucking!!
Which brings me to my question, is there a way to retighten and smoothen the faux loc after taking them out so I can use them again?

yeah you're gonna have to rebuy the passion twist hair to rewrap.
I was thinking maybe stick the crochet needle thru the loc & pull the braid through...not sure if it would work

For me they only lasted about 2 weeks until my hair started unraveling out of them. Tbh waste of money I paid 285
