GWAN BIG UP UNNU SELF ! XOXO
I have had them for about 6 weeks and I love them❤. Con though is they get caught on my earrings, zippers etc 😫
Giiirrrllllll, what you said
I’ve literally had my for less then two weeks I went to the beach today and they are falling out never going to that girl again
they kept getting caught on my braces 😩
That's my only con too
Omg...yesssss. hate it! I have them right now.
Thanks for this. I’m doing this style next. I’ll probably keep it a month. My issue with protective styles is the buildup of dead skin, product, etc... at the base of the scalp. I feel like I always lose hair removing the buildup. Even when the hair is saturated
With the dead skins and build up I recommend using tea tree oil and leave in conditioner!
@@jaleenmorris9221 good luck with man thanks babe love love babe babe thanks for asking lol thanks hun lol Tyrone good babe love love babe babe

You’re not losing hair, your getting rid of naturally shedding hair. Our hair sheds up to 80-100+ peices of hair every day, multiply that by 6weeks, I’m sure the amount will look staggering to anyone 😅 Also length of hair matters. The longer your kinks, the more hair it appears to be in that ball. Don’t freak out, as long as your saturating it, you’re doing a good job. Plus, don’t be afraid to spritz your scalp every now and again while in protective styles. Jamaican Mango& Lime have a menthol spray that I loooved! I know make my own herbal blend but that stuff definitely feels great on the scalp
I used rose water spray this helped a whole lot with build up. You can try it
Currently wearing this style now. I’ve had it longer than two weeks so I’m hoping my hair separates as easy as yours did.💛 thank you for this video!
I just tried it! Ohmygolly, easy!! I did the second method!!
Two weeks and you already want it ou😂, mine have been in for 7 weeka
I always wondered how to take out locks because they look hard to do. Anyways they looked very nice. Have a wonderful day everyone stay warm and stay safe ❤🍭
Thank you !
@@ChevB you welcome
You're actually destroying the locs, the simplest way to do this is to use a crochet pin, pull out your hair from underneath, unravel your hair and the locs will come out by itself without you cutting it. And yes you can reuse it as a crochet install for your next hair style. Hope this helps.
💕💕Really was wondering how you were going to remove them ❤️thank you for the video
Lol I wondered too 😂 thank second method 👏🏾

I really appreciate this video. My niece, bless her! Watched a video to install thus style!! She will be 15 in August and I am so thankful she did my hair for me. It's growing back after needing chemo November 2020 - January 2021. In just 2 weeks my new growth was.... wow!! I played it off with headbands or scarf. I can't wait anymore!! Soooooo you have freed me! Awwhhh...... now to decide on the next protective style!! Guess I best subscribe!! 😊

Thank you for this video ❤️. I currently have butterfly locs and it’s been in my head for about 3 weeks, but I’m ready to let my hair breath + my scalp is itchy lol. Again, thanks for this!!
Yes, you could've kept this style in for a few more weeks. ❤ The second method was much easier. Your skin look soo smooth. Tfs 💕😘
I feel so sad right now. I wish I would have seen this video sooner because it took me hours to take down my locs. I was so frustrated. I looked at videos before I put my locs in and before I took them out and my hair was stuck in the locs. Taking them was a serious pain in butt. What I should have done was braid and twisted my hair like you did. Now I am willing to try again. Thanks for making this video.
I agree, you took out this style too fast
You're a lifesaver! I've had mines in for about two months or so and I was having the hardest time trying to figure out how to take my butterfly 🦋 locs out 🥴

You probably saved a lot of Edges😆
Your hair has grown so much! I'd love to see a length check.
Typed in how to remove butterfly locks on google and a CZcams video popped up. I watched that video but it was lookin too difficult to remove for this 46 year old. Spotted your video under in the list of videos..and clicked on it. Glad I did! Removing them the way you said…omg easy peasy! You have a new subscriber!❤️
Such an easy take down, and ur skin looks LOVELY!
Love the second method..🔥 no chances of hair loss or cutting at all. Thank you for sharing☘💚🥰

Chev you hit it every time girl! DAMN CHEV. Everything we need in a video ! Thank you 💕
Awesome jog! They look so good. I currently have sift locs and this is the best protective style I've had. It is lasting, my hair isn't frizzing everywhere, and as stated the older the better it looks.

That second method applied pressure to the first methods neck and never let up.

My Jamaican Barbie😘
Awwww ❤️❤️❤️
Early 🗣❤️ method #2 for the win
Just When I Needed It 🥰‼️
Yay!!!! Happy to help
It still looks so gooooood! 😍
How long did she keep these in .......😂😂it’s gonna be easier for her Bc her hair is still fresh she didn’t give it time to even get knotted 😭😭were screwed
I’m literally struggling rn 😭😣
My best advice is to drench your hair in conditioner and water 🥲
If I had of known all this, I wouldn't have got this style. I hate it here 😩
Guys, cut the end of the hair and then pull your hair down (like slide your hand down it to push it down). The hair should slide out or sometimes gets longer. Keep cutting the long piece and sliding the hair down. It still takes a bit of a while, but this helped me get it out faster than any other way!
Yea cause I had mines in for 5 months 😩😢 yall I’m scared . Lol
Great technique! Now I don’t have to pay to have it taken down!👏🏾👌🏾👍🏾

Chev had me worried like you going to tske forever the n you got it 🤗🤗🤗thanks for sharing.
Omg 😳 can’t stand butterfly Locs my hairstylist used rubber bands smh 🤦🏽♀️ I’m over mine! They’ve been in 4 weeks, hair irritating so over it… I am knotless braids girl returning to my hair 🤗 thank for showing us how to take down these disgusting Locs 👋🏼
Mine is definitely not so easy to remove. Hair long n was tuck . One lock took me 20 mins. Love it but will never do it again because of how tedious it was to losen
Thanks for sharing it was my first time wearing my hair this way and I was so worried about taking it out
Wow they still look too good to be taken down 😭😭
Thank you so much for this. I'll be trying this style this weekend!🙏🏿🤞🏾🖤

Hey Chev Please do a wash day video with products esp shampoo conditioners deep conditioners you like to use on your hair or new products you find are working for your hair
Your natural hair make you look more younger
Thanks
Lol before I even watch thank you! I tried my hands at locs Monday and was thinking I'll need to find out how to remove them.
Loool I got you sis 👏🏾

Good video! And I was wondering how the heck you take them down. I was dreading trying them because of the take down but now I feel better after seeing your video.

Lulutress does not have the color I want so I am going to use freetress... do you think using the kinky hair inside my locs will help with keeping my 4c hair inside?
Loved it thank youu😊😊😊
Wow u look so different without makeup
Gorgeous! 💎
Thank you so much!!!! 🙌🏾🤧
Small CZcamsr here
Omg ur video was so helpful thank u😩💖
SO MUCH HELP
Hello chev b 😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Hello 👋🏾
God loves you everyone
1st method at 4:19.
2nd method at 5:04.
Thank you for the video I can now take down my locks
When I took mine out I accidentally cut a braid lmao lucky I got a lot of hair 🤣
The second method is convincing me to take out my 1 week old twists just because I'm red-yeyed 😭🤣🤣
😂😂😂 I know this feeling too well
Thanks for the video this really helped I would've been taking my hair down all day 😭

Super helpful ✨
I had to cut my hair to remove those locs. It’s beautiful but the take down is devastating.
I did the root separation when I took down my faux locs, but these butterfly locs are differenttttt chile 😂
*wife asking using hubbys account*
I have shaved sides and hair at the top. will the length of the hair still work for a bob? I sent you a message and pic in IG.
🙏🙏❤❤❤thanks
You are so gorgeous ya know you look like spirit from one on one luv😂😂 but luv the vid ❤️
Can you get your hair wet with this style like at the beach or pool and rinse it out as well?
Thank you!!
Thanks a mil 🥰
Two weeks? I’ve had mine for like five months😂😂
Same here, it was a dreaded nightmare. Lots of patience finger detangling and combing through from bottom to top. I sectioned hair used conditioner 1st and then shampoo while conditioner was still in rinsed out and left Aussie conditioner in for 3days. It Truly needed a Deep conditioning 🤷🏾♀️
Will they look ugly if you don’t have no edges
Hey chev I was wondering if you can use spring twist hair with doing this hairstyle.
I definitely could but I’m not sure if it will give too much of the butterfly look. It might just look like regular distressed locs
@@ChevB ok good advice thanks for letting me know!!
That means you won't be able to use it again right?
If you cut them no 😓
Dear you really inspire me and would wish to make a collabo with you
They lasted long
For sure 👏🏾
Thank you
I’m here😋 subscriber
Yay !!! Thank you for being here ❤️
