I had one like it in the 60s. I loved it. The burners retracted for space and clean look. It was also easy to keep clean.

Samantha and Endora's wardrobe was so classic. Just Beautiful.
Remember that in the beginning, especially the black and white ones Darrin actually liked and got into some of the witchcraft. Weather it was the revenge spells or the Christmas ones
I always found Endora very much on point, especially regarding Derwood. I also loved her wardrobe & accessories. The world lost Agnes Moorehead way too soon.
I loved her on the show, and always dressed so well❤

So at 57 yrs i have always ASSumed that i acquired my .. _unusual_ taste in clothes mostly from _the Nanny?_ But in retrospect, watching Bewitched reruns reminds me that i all but *worshipped* Endora! lol i ADORED her - and *EVERYTHING* she wore! Did you guys notice the scuba suit embellished with very sixties looking flowers? 🌸🌼 So COOL! So i can’t _help_ the crazy way i dress - it’s my generation! ✌🏼🕊️💕🍄
In "Daddy Does His Thing", poor Dick. He can barely stand up, and he was still hitting those lines.
The short guy played in more than one episode of Bewitched. I loved all of episodes when I was a small boy. The first Darrin was always my favorite.
Darren is such a lucky man to have such a faithful and devoted kind witch for a wife 😊❤

Love the show very much. Serena pretended to be Samantha in the episode of Samantha going South was great and the wedding present was a good one and Uncle Arthur is hilarious. I thoroughly enjoyed all episodes. Magic coupled with silly/funny moments really make each episode heartwarming and funny. 😊😊😊❤❤❤
This Darren and Samantha were my favorites. It’s upsetting that Elizabeth couldn’t stand this Darren. He was crazy about her.

Season 4 is my # 1 favorite.......Season 5 is my # 2 favorite....but sad because it's Dick Yorks last year on this Beloved show
I believe season 5 is my #1 favorite . But only the episodes with Dick York Haha and also the episodes: "Tabitha's weekend", "marriage witches' style" and "samantha's Shopping spree".

Dick York was the best. It surprised me to learn Elizabeth Montgomery didn't like him because he had a crush on her, who wouldn't find her adorable? Sadly after he was replaced due to illness, it changed the show drastically, they had great chemistry and comedic timing together. The other actor wasn't a very good fit.

@alexrafe2590 When did Endora say nice things about Darrin? I only remember one incident where she admitted he loved Samantha or else he wouldn't put up with all the crap that she and the other members of the witching community put him thru.
He's been changed into several different animals, she zapped him with pain in the episode where she and Sam travel back in time to see if he'd still marry her if he knew she was a witch, she turns him into a werewolf and then pretended she forgot the spell so he'd further change into a wolf where he could have hurt someone. I think he has a bit of a right to be snarky to her.

I love a lot of the season 5 episodes, even though the majority of them are without Dick York. You can see the unfortunate weight loss Dick York suffered this season.

Dick York was absent in most of the season, because of his back issues, and he was terminated, one day, upon his return, after suffering a seizure on the set.
i heard they fired him while he was still in the hospital
It started with the medication for a back problem but he was fired for substance addiction. In too many days he didnt show up, and when he showed up he didn't know his lines and the seizure was the last nail.

Is that Diane Murphy not Erin in the slippery slide episode in the park? Tabitha looks and acts slightly differently to the Tabitha we are used to. Erin was definitely the better actress - she was actually remarkable for her age how she was able to remember her lines and perform so well.
Yes, I literally just posted that before I noticed you caught it too. Erin said in an interview, they weren't identical, and had several differences..both agreed, just outstanding talent.

1:08:03 Interesting. This same older footage was used in at least two previous episodes. Here, though, there is a jarring jump in Samantha's demeanor and appearance when it's edited into the newer footage.
They did this so people would see Dick York/Darrin on scene, since he was absent in lots of episodes because Dick York was already gone from the series...

It’s a shame Dick York was so ill. He got so mean, and they kept writing him mean in the later seasons. Being kinder would have fit his personality better. It was different in the first season at least-he understood Endora was egging him on.
It's likely that his back problems might have had something to do with that. I mean the pain he was dealing with had to have made him grouchy.

Endora? Well she has changed him into several different animals, zapped him with pain, and pops in unannounced several times a day so I think he has a right to be irritated.
Darrin was always yelling. Watch too many and his yelling gets old. Agnes Moorehead was a superb actress.
