Endora wore some absolutely stunning ensembles.
Good heavens, that dressy Indian-inspired suit from the "A Nice Little Dinner Party". Just great!
A majority of what she wore, were her own personal peices... something to do with wardrobe budgets.
True, love it when she changes into something classy after Samantha asked her to join her...
Orson Welles believed she was the finest actress. Who could disagree with Orson?
Hell yes. Why?
Because this lady wore it well.
You can tell these two actresses not only had chemistry together, but great affection for each other. It gave life to the mother daughter relationship between them
Even after all these years, Bewitched is still my all time favorite series.
me too. also, Get Smart
La mía también💙
Elizabeth Montgomery is the Perfect mix between girl next door and classic beauty.
Well said. That's exactly what she was.
Montgomery was the first choice to do the Brando girl friend in ON THE WATERFRONT. Choose Eva Marie Saint instead . They claimed Montgomery had an air of finishing school about her .
Elizabeth always looked fabulous, but I loved how endora rocked it!
That first outfit of Endora's is stunning.
No matter what she wore, Elizabeth Montgomery was easy on the eyes. She was beauty and style mixed perfectly.
I never noticed as a little boy but she was a very beautiful woman, so talented and bright, too.
Indeed , she is the kind of person that didn't deserve to die...is the best I can explain. It....
She practically invented the short skirt and boot look in the early 60’s on the Twilight Zone and an episode of Thriller.
But sadly she had a dark Soul.
@@kathrynbriley4299 Excuse me! Based on what!!! Why would you say such a hateful thing?!!
Elizabeth Montgomery was born and raised as an elegant young lady and her performance as Samantha always showed it!
Love samantha and elizabeth❤
She was the daughter of Robert Montgomery, a famous actor in the 1930's and 40's. He was a handsome man. I guess that explains why his daughter was so elegant.
Me too XD
Montgomery was the first choice to do the Brando girl friend in ON THE WATERFRONT. Choose Eva Marie Saint instead . They claimed Montgomery had an air of finishing school about her .
@@JJJBRICE Elizabeth Montgomery DID have an air of finishing school to her because she went to The Spence School in Manhattan!
This show never gets old. I still watch it. Elizabeth was beautiful, loving, and caring the I perfect wife and mother
I adored Samantha and Endora..both were bewitching! ❤️
I remember feeling so ‘magical’ when I watched this as a child. I walked around twinkling my nose a lot ☺️
I still do it and I’m eighteen!
Endora was a timeless beauty
Kudos to Endora for trying to change Tabitha's diaper like a mortal grandma.
I love Endora. In many ways she was the best part of this show.
I agree with you!
Endora Was The SECRET SAUCE Of Bewitched,It Wouldn't Be Near As Good Without Her!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩❤❤❤❤❤❤⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Hello, How are you doing?
the time when she replied to Darrin fussing thusly:
"The fountain of trivia runneth over!"
I had a brother-in-law named Darrin my parents called "Durwood".
It took me years to get the reference 😏
My bfs name is Darren.
His sister calls him Durwood.
Doctor Thirteen 😂
That's so funny! Thanks for sharing.
😅🤣😂
🤣🤣🤣
I loved the fashion during this era!
Serena's line "I'm tired of simmering like a watched pot; I wanna get out and boil" is timeless
I know RIGHT, and the hands
Agnes Moorehead (Endora) was quite a lovely looking older woman
I agree with that. !
She was from my hometown of Clinton, Massachusetts!
Endora's wardrobe was incredible!
She also appeared in an episode of The Twilight Zone "The Invaders" in 1961 as an old woman in a cabin tormented by tiny aliens. Amazing performance. I don't think she had any dialog. The episode has a nice twist at the end. Watch it!
I threw up a little in my mouth reading that.
I was a child during the show's run and I'm now older than her. Never once during that journey did I EVER think, "oh man, I need me some Endora."
Love the Bewitched living room and really the whole house
It was a marvelous design, exterior and interior. The production crew made an effort to have it look realistic, unlike most sitcoms today.
@@kevinschifino1064 so true! They did a good job making the house realistic and warm :)
Always loved that house.
cougar kitty
I loved the oven, but hate the those burgers, lol. Can't have everything, I suppose. 😹
Love the 60' s and 70' s fashion 😍
I just discovered this series. And I say that I wish I had discovered it before. Oh, endora. Baby. I didn't see any woman who was cooler than her at that age. I'm literally in love with her.
I am 23 and this series makes me wish I'd been 23 in the 1960s. Those years were much more beautiful, friendly and stylish than now.
Btw, it hurts my heart to think they are dead now. Especially Agnes and Liz. I would love to have them still in the world.
I'm so glad that you discovered this series. I was lucky enough to have been around when it originally aired. I agree with all that you have said about this show and its stars. Enjoy watching it, young man.
you weird fuck pos,get with reality
@@thomascochran5826 Ironic comment coming from someone who is still reliving their years a a grade school bully
The 60s was no doubt a period of elegant fashion
Early to mid 60s anyway!
Barbie (early Barbie) wore a lot of similar fashions. Very elegant.
Yeap!!👍🏻
The biggest change in any fashion decade and by the end, elegance was replace by mod.
Even In The Early 70's At The End Of The Series,Elizabeth Montgomery Looked Stunning,Gorgeous And HOT!!! 😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩❤❤❤❤💋🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
my Grandmama goals are to be just like Endora someday💙
Let’s all be Endora!

@@themermaidstale5008I got a compliment on FB the other day, that I was "channeling Agnes." I was thrilled, because I can't think of a better person to be compared to. 💜 you Agnes!!!!! ⚘️
I remember in the 70s Elizabeth Montgomery played Lizzie Borden in a TV movie and it was such a departure from Bewitched. It really showed her range
Yeah. She didn't have any. She stank as an actress
Yes! The legend of lizzie burden. Excellent!
@@zapkvr - and you stink as a critic!!
She was great in these movies, loved her performance in The Twilight Zone episode along side Charles Bronson.
I think her first made for TV movie after Bewitched was-
" A Case of Rape" riveting story that she was excellent in, too bad it's not available anywhere that I'm aware of.
Maybe Netflix might have it.
@@ryangreen2469 It’s here on YT. It was a TV movie of the week.
I've seen a LOT of classic tv and movies, and I think Elizabeth M. had THE best sense of fashion, ever !!
And Ms. Moorehead 's elegant costumes ,as well..especially her stunning zebra skin suit.
chaturong archary : Her civie clothes were on another level
@@pjesf walked out of catwalk !
chaturong archary : Good taste!
By the front door of Samantha and Darren's house is a print of a Rembrandt painting called "A Girl with a Broom". How appropriate for the house of a witch! It was decades before I figured out the significance of the picture!
Now that's a great bit of trivia.
thanks for sharing that!
Andrew Brendan I think everybody in the 60s had that picture. Or the one of a boy with a rifle.
Wow,I Didn't Even Notice That,Thanks For Sharing That Bit Of TV Trivia And History!!!
Elizabeth Montgomery could wear a sack of potatoes and still looks stunning
Yes sir
Compared to women these days who look like a sack of potatoes 🤣
Arnelor Vaast Lucy Ricardo did wear a potato sack that she thought was a Paris designer creation. Both Lucy and Ethel were tricked. Actually, Lucy’s dress didn’t look half bad.
The Mermaid's Tale Marilyn Monroe did the same thing too, Just google for the Photo!
Paul Conway Well, I don’t think it’s fair comparing them. Back then, fat women existed too (although maybe not as many as nowadays) but they weren’t represented in the media
I love this episode Fashions from the 60s the outfits that Endora wear my mother used to wear those outfits when she got ready to go to church she was one of those spiffy dressers the 60s were great when I was a little boy the early sixties I might add
"Bewitched" and I dream of Jeannie" were my favorite childhood shows - more so "Bewitched." I still watch my favorite two shows five days a week on Antenna TV.
LaShum...I don't understand in the feminist era (those were the true ones), how the show could portray a slave, because let's face it, she was one! Maybe that was a last attempt to portray women as conniving, deceitful, ready to do anything to get married. I'm not a feminist, just let women do whatever they want - without children we would disappear as a society!
@@marinazagrai1623 Say Whaaat? Apparently you don't get the gist of the show or the time era, WOW just WOW! lolololol 😂 🤣
Mine too, Bewitched and l dream of Jeanie favorite childhood tv shows.
Me Too,I Loved BOTH Bewitched And I Dream Of Jeannie As Kid Myself!!! Comparing Them,Samantha Was Definitely More Independent Than Jeannie,But Jeannie Could Easily Blink Major Nelson Into A Mosquito Or Something,But She Was Portrayed As Manipulative And Childish. But Eventually They Got Married Of Tony's On Free Will,But It Spelled The End Of The Series,Whereas Bewitched Began With Samantha's Marriage To Darrin.
My pet peeve with Antenna TV is that you cannot hear the end credits as they roll. That takes a bit from the experience. Still glad they show it, though.
Endora was elegant and graceful all the time. She and Maurice fit the their parts very well.
My Mom had the same lame (gold mini on Samantha) outfit back in the day - in silver - even the pantyhose - what a hoot! I LOVE 60s clothing. They both had great outfits but Endora always slayed when she put on her couture! Thanks for posting this. I'm a HUGE Bewitched fan!!!
Oh, how much I loved this show when I was a kid. And to look back now and see these vintage outfits is divine. I always loved Samantha's beautiful house, too.
I love this classic!!
Such a classy, beautiful, elegant lady ! This show was my favorite when I was a little girl. I wanted to be Samantha. LOL
I love her so much. Wish she'd been around a little bit longer.
She could play any kind of genre TV or Film.
Me too
Me Too. She Was Just 62 When She Died,So Sad,Seems Like She Was Here Longer,Probably Because Of Her STELLAR Career!!! I Wish She Could've Been Here Longer Too.
I could watch the "magic" clips all day long
It was touching to see Endora finally giving Samantha a wedding present.
Five years late.
That was only for Samantha
I thought she was a birthday president for Darrin.
I also noticed Samantha's eye liner at the beginning made her eyes more 'cat' like.
She looked softer and more “witchy” the first couple of seasons. I didn’t care as much for the later seasons where she was more harsh and groovy looking.
Era la moda de aquellos años, a mí siempre me ha encantado ese eyeliner style
And false eyelashes.
Have you noticed the mother's eye liner it makes her look evil
Lots of Joy She got too thin in the later years. I think it made her look harder but still attractive.
LOVE those big beehive hairdos of Endora! She's ready to join the B-52's!!!
I forgot how much fun this show was. Loved the fashions and great characters.
Agnes Moorehead had some of the most fabulous outfits on the early television shows and in the movie, ( WHO'S MINDING THE STORE ). What a change from the beginning of 1960 to 1969, probably the most change of any decade in fashion history. 📺
So beautiful. I love the way she would say ""WELL..." That makes four Bewitched flavored vid's in a row... Takes me back...
Endora's first outfit... FABULOUS!! Not that the others aren't gorgeous as well, but that 1st at 0:50 is beyond stunning!
Samantha: I’m sick of simmering like a watched pot, I wanna get out & boil😫😭💯
It was Serena posing as Samantha.
@@dannycarrington1601 LOL!!!
In all these years I have never forgotten that line. THE BEST
I loved that scene. They really socked it to Dustbin. 🤣🤣🤣
I Loved When Elizabeth Montgomery Played The Naughty,Mischievous Cousin Serena!!! 😍😍😍😉😉😉😉💋❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥

Didn't Aunt Clara have a doorknob collection?
@@robinfa-84-tx79 yes she did
@@windstorm1000 👍🏻🙂
Marion Lorne had a door knob collection in real life too.
Yes Bewitch is great. Show more of her. That TV show was a hit
At 10:00, Samantha has just changed her disappearing dress and the man comments. When she says “Well” she’s definitely channeling Lucy Ricardo.
My favorite show as a child! Thanks for letting me see these episodes again!!! ❤️💙🧡💖💜💚
I loved endoras pretty red hair.
Endora was a pretty lady on that show. She certainly wore some colorful outfits
Remind my childhood ♥️ days with my family...🥳🥳🥳❤️❤️❤️❤️🎈still I miss those days....💞
The special effects when Esmerelda is looking at herself in the mirror is very well done for the year they did it (1970?). I think it’s a split screen, as Samantha’s reflection is really her reflection (or else Liz was REALLY good with her timing, dialog, and movements). The split isn’t a straight split down a seam as the did in the earlier episodes with Serena and Samantha. It’s very impressive.
A TRUE AMERICAN ICON AND THEIR SERIES.....WE LOVED THIS.....SO MANY OF THIS ERA.....THE TWITCHING NOSE AND THE WORLD CHANGES....!!! SO LOVED.
1:31 She looks amazing in that Gold Dress, Midas touch!
Of course, Elizabeth Montgomery looks great in a box!!!! 1:43 🎁
Agnes Moorehead's stunning outfits seems inspired by designer Norman Norell.
I 'd still love to wear most of the outfits Elisabeth wore, today!
A charming French restaurant... in France! Garçon! I wish 😍
Interesting how Endora was the modern woman but Samantha was the old fashion one. I love both, anyway!
Me and my friends are going to be Endora, Samantha, and Darren as a group for Halloween
@Alejandro Ascencio ??? I don't understand.
@Alejandro Ascencio Good morning darling :)
@Alejandro Ascencio I am from Massachussets
@Alejandro Ascencio hello
@Alejandro Ascencio no thank you. I do not feel comfortable
I like Sam's first look the best, the shorter hair with simple waves is more flattering than the longer hair or highly teased looks of later seasons. I also like the simple dress and scarf.
I agree. The fashions were gorgeous up to the mid 60's. The mid to late 60's were quite juvenile. By the 1970's they were quite tasteless. I was a teenager then, and even then I liked the 1950's and early 60's fashions best.
@@l.5832 I completely agree with you. I haaaaaate the 70's style as well. Actually is everything: the style Afro, the sideburns and even the poor taste in décorations of houses for instance the multiple colours walls paper and clothes.
Oh come on, wouldn't you like to have olive green appliances in your kitchen with coordinating towels?
I'm a child of the 70s, but let's face it -- 60s had style -- while 70s was just over the top.
All you need to know about grace and charm is at 3:01. I know Endorra is being her usual b*tchy self toward Mrs. Stevens, but she handles it with such class and grace, a real lady. She knows how to give a compliment, she wears clothes beautifully yet casually, and every gesture and step is calculated to charm. Brilliant.
My Grandmother was so much like her. Looks, style, charm. She was a natural auburn too! She was a true lady.
All the costumes they have never be out of Fission ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The disappearing dress episode is a fav. Hilarious esp. Scenes with the cops.
Yes one of the best episodes!
Darrin sharing the jail cell with Mr. Whipple.
Samantha uses a Singer 401A machine. One of the best they ever made.
Favorite...Hands down Samantha in her 70's outfit. Wow she is a beautiful Woman.
We all wanted to be Samantha with her beauty and able to do magic
That 70’s outfit of Samantha’s reminded me more of Penelope Pitstop cartoon.
The Wacky Racers
I remember that show. There was also Dick Dastardly and the inventor Professor Pat Pending!
Andrew Brendan Dasterdly & Muttly
That was late 60's. Dick York left the show in 69.
@@manthony225It was probably early '69. Did you notice he was a lot thicker (bodywise) and his hair was becoming a little bit silvery? I think the medication for his back was taking a toll on him by then.
Violet Alford Created some Stunning clothes for Samantha and Endora and all the other ladies on the show. Serena, Aunt Clara, Aunt Enchantra, Aunt Hagatha, ...
7:13 Can we just take a moment to appreciate the smooth transition from one actress to another? That's some impressive editing, must have taken them ages to get right.
I love the subtle way she changes to the red dress. A simple wave of the hands.
Sam is my fashion idol - I’ve been fascinated with her 60s wardrobe since watching reruns as a kid, I especially liked it when she went all ‘Mod’ in the later episodes
my mom dressed in similar blouses and slacks, it made coming out as a lesbian a little easier because she never really was a dress and make up kind of mom.
0:00 Samantha looks great in that black dress with the white gloves. My mother tells me that women always dressed up to go shopping in the 1960's, but this dress looks more like evening wear. 8:09 I also like her French lunch outfit. The hat looks good on Elizabeth Montgomery. 2:50 But my favorite is the simplest. Classic design, in a color that's not too bold for her.
That black dress for shopping is gorgeous simplicity
Hi! Howard Wiggins,
Yes, we dressed up to go everywhere. We wore gloves, patten leather shoes, and dresses to go to the grocery store, and to the state fair too. Both of my parents were even dressed up to go to the fair. Daddy polished his shoes before we left, and wore a tie; Mom had on pointy toe high healed pumps, gloves, small leather pocketbook, and a dress. I had on a (shorty) dress, lacy anklet socks, ruffle bottom britches (undies), patten leather shoes, leather tiny pocketbook, and gloves. If I had a picture of us, you'd think we were going to the theater, we were so dressed up.
My mother didn't own a pair of blue jeans until the 90's. Dad got jeans by the late 70's. I got my first pair of jeans in 1975, I had to beg to get them.
So yes we dressed up to go everywhere.
☺️ ✌️ 🖖 😷
I love the outfit Endora wore in 'I Get Your Nanny You Get My Goat' episode
I have noticed those LV bags of Samantha's.
Elizabeth was so beautiful
This was one of the best fashion pieces I have seen from the 60s.Samantha and endora were really beautiful.
Always loved the outfits Samantha and Endora wore. Wish they would bring back these outfits today.
Dios mío, mi serie favorita de que recuerdos tan hermosos, mil gracias
"It's reddish green! You know how synthetics are!" rotflmao!!!!
Yes, those synthetics are tricky.
Nothing like a little black dress :)
Still true today. Orange is NOT the new black.
My favorite Darrin was Dick York.
Dick Sargent had a mean streak to him that Dick York did not have. Dick York became blustery and confused and had a bit if fear whereas Dick Sargent just got mean and angry.
Yes, the original Darrin!
I didn’t like Dick Sargent. He was so stiff and not a good actor.
@@themermaidstale5008 I totally disagree.
I Liked BOTH Darrins,They Had Their Time,Which Made The Whole Series Work From Beginning To End!!!
I would LOVE Endora for a mother!!!! I mean, whisking me off to Paris for lunch in a second AND giving me designer outfits to boot! Yes please!!!!! 🤩😍
Note the changes in the kitchen, after the fire before season seven. They put in an island with cooktp, new oven and tiled floors and the paint scheme was a nice green on the cabinets. And the refridgerator had side-by-side doors.
Now that's a real makeover. Oh, lest we not forget the stairs to the second floor.
And then there's the living room and Tabitha's room, the first nursery, chanted over the years. Oh, the nursery became Adam's room.
Love this house set. If felt so warm and lived in.
I always remember the outfits in the one where Endora made Darrin super vain. Darrin was wearing I believe a shiny silver Nehru jacket and pants and Samantha was wearing a matching shiny silver, very short dress.
Juss Sayin hilarious. Darin always checking himself out in her dress
Can't forget the love beads and sideburns. And Samantha twitching her nose to make the dress shorter.
Darrin was in gold, Samantha shimmered in silver.
But yeah, classic kitsch.
As a child I LOVED this show and wanted to look just like Samantha! She was sooo beautiful. Also, even as a kid I found Darrin annoying and uptight. Enjoy your lovely witch who can get anything with a twitch of her nose.
It wouldn’t have had any tension then.
@MaGuffintop Gotta agree with you there!
I was just rewatching this show and I was noticing all these LOOKS ... so glad this video exists~
