Yes please. This was one of my favorite shows.
what season is this
I love endora. She's so happy her granddaughter is a witch and is so loving and adorable with her
I bet she helped too, at least in providing an example. After all, Sam may limit her magic, but while babysitting, she has a lot more wiggle room ;)
Erin Murphy was so adorable as Tabitha. She really did a great job for such a small child.
That might be Diane. Erin and her twin sister Diane played the role until eventually Erin took over full time. They were slightly different looking.
This is not Erin. She hasn't the same smile nor the same look!
@@axelleawah3799 It definitely is Erin in this clip. Diane looks completely different, had lighter hair, and wasn't used often because she cried under the lights more. You'll see Diane more in two episodes after this one ("Witches and Warlocks are my Favorite Things.")
@@amiblueful They are fraternal twins, not identical. Once the change in appearance became noticeable they selected the one who most resembled EM to be the permanent Tabitha.
@@Deutschieinteresting
Agnes Moorhead was a phenomenal actress. A true legend!
AGREED!!!!! 500% 💜⚘️
Most sitcoms die the moment they introduce a baby, but not this one. Don't know how they did it, but Tabitha, besides being adorable, introduced so may storylines and situation possibilities, it really pushed the show along.
I am 54-years old and still Endora cracks me up by mocking Darrin....
Endora was funny.
U mean derwood😂😂
Darwin. She only said his name 2 or 3 times.
@@millenniumman75 or dennis lol
@@millenniumman75 strange seeing you outside the Brady universe.
Grandma found herself a new golden child.. Love this show, great family to show American history.
Its in color. Ha ha
Little Tabitha became a very impressive witch quickly. Her powers of metamorphing powers were incredible!
Prob taught by Gerald Gardener himself
Hard to believe this episode is 54 years old. 📺
I can’t imagine anyone being Endora, except Agnes Morehead.
Tabitha Wiggles Her Nose: *"PRETTY PONY!!"* 🐎
Sooooo cute!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
At 00:17 you can hear Tabitha saying ‘come on’ very faint. It’s the sweetest little voice I ever heard! Such a beautiful girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Lol...you're right!
Endora was such a great grandmama for encouraging and seeing that Tabitha had powers 😊, while Darren didn’t like Tabitha using her powers
Endora would have been thrilled when Tabitha cast spells on bullies!
Endora, went from reluctant grandmother to dotting grandmother. Common factor, witchcraft. 😀 Everybody, on Sam's side, were delighted when Tabitha and Adam's powers appeared. 😀 Maurice finally had a warlock for a grandson.
Both Endora and Maurice loved their grandkids, but when both showed their powers, they couldn't contain their enthusiasm.
Poor Darrin, now he has two witches and a warlock in the family, and he loves them all, despite the witchcraft.
He should love _becoz_ of the witchcraft :))
One of my favorite lines:
"You twitched your nose! Just like Mommy."
Agnes Moorehead was in many important movies starting in the '40s with Citizen Kane. I strongly recommend viewing them to see how brilliant an actress she was.
She was terrific in Dark Passage (1947, with Bogart and Bacall), right up to the moment Moorehead crashes through a plate glass window in a high-rise and falls to her death. Great movie, with terrific old scenes of San Francisco. As for radio, "Sorry, Wrong Number" was a masterpiece. Available on CZcams.
You're absolutely correct. She was great in everything she was cast in.
I adore her vintage nursery
Tabitha is so adorable.
Endora was so adorable being all doding with tabitha
Loved how Larry would always invite the clients over to Darrin's for drinks or even dinner and then just spring it on Darrin at the last minute.
Couldn't be me
Who then sprung it on Samantha to make it happen like a good little housewife.
spring it on "Samantha" at the last minute, too.
Omg bewitched is my favourite show of all time. Magical and fond memories . Loved Elizabeth Montgomery
Watching this in the 60's and 70's, Endora looked so old to me. Now that I'm 58, she actually looks pretty good.
If i had a grandma like Endora. I'd be a diva like her.
Aww, Tabitha is such a precious little baby witch!
Why would he be so mad about his daughter being magical. That would be the best thing to ever happen to ever happen to a baby in my opinion she’s be a big help in the house.
V Nha he just seems sexist and unlikable to me and not to mention treated Samantha in a disrespectful manner.
@@simplysavyyy it was 60s, what do you expect?
And, a lot of times, Sam didn't hold when he offended her witch side
On episode 5 of the whole series, she goes away from the house when Darrin doesn't believe her
Durwood was a Dick
I think as her being a baby and using her powers in front of outsiders finding out. That would be a stresser due to mob mentality etc. I don't think he had a malicious heart dude was just outnumbered by women that could turn him into a toad 🤭
@@quinnmorgendorffer8435 I'm pretty sure that was his main reason for being upset that Tabitha was a witch. Children really can't control themselves about certain things especially when their in elementary school and still learning impulse control.
Awwwww this show was really lovely... Samantha's mother is iconic.
It annoyed me so damn bad that Darren couldn't accept his family for what they are.
@shydmples They did accept it. They just didn't like the fact his character kept trying to make her something she isn't. He was always mad at them for being witches and for not trying to suppress it FOR HIM like how his wife was doing. For goodness sake, he even asked his wife if the baby was going to be a witch just after they got up from the beautiful news he was going to be a father! As if it matters and it's a problem! They wrote out his character to be toxic to a family.
@@kinndah2519 I mean, there are a couple times Darrin seems to accept it more by the end of the episode, but it never lasts. Gotta keep the status quo I guess smh
@shydmples The real issue was how they wrote him and how he treated his wife and children, he was controlling and abusive.
They all had to be what and how he wanted even if it meant denying fundamental truths about themselves, all because he had to feel the "man" and in control of everyone and everything.
He couldn't deal with finding out she was more powerful than him, so he goes out of his way to put restrictions on her to make himself in control. (I also HATE that they made it so he didn't find out she was a witch until AFTER they were married, that was manipulative too and unneeded for them to get together if he truly loved as they keep telling us he does)
Sam never hated her powers or being a witch, she enjoyed doing things the mortal way but also loved her powers just as much. If it was she who wanted to suppress or hated being a witch and he didn't care but was supporting her in her decision to give up her powers that would be different, but she's only doing it to please him.
She acts and sounds like a battered wife a lot of the time, constantly worried and frightened of her Husband coming home and his reaction to his expectations of her and the children not being followed, that is not a healthy relationship. Even when she dealing with some serious magical mishap she more focused on how angry Darren will be, that's classic abuse signals.
She makes all the sacrifices and compromises in the relationship, whereas he makes none. His is inflexible and constantly complaining and acting like a bad-tempered, whiney child when it's not how he wants it. She even goes so far as to try and get everyone around them to change so as to not set him off.
He treats her very poorly throughout the whole show, not just about her powers and rarely if ever shows any growth or true loving acceptance of his wife. How many episodes do we see her running around alone stressing about how upset Darren will be and putting out fires everywhere, with him getting mad and constantly criticising her time after time.
I LOVE this show but I can acknowledge it has major flaws. I know they had to have some form of conflict and each episode was very formulaic, but I just can't like his character.
Looking back it should have been him loving her and her powers, but sometimes her powers or a spell uncontrollably go awry or kooky family members turn up that gets a little out of control. Then they both get up to high jinks together trying to keep the mortals around them unaware. That way they are a loving partnership who accept and support each other ending up in wacky, funny circumstances.
@@LadyLocket All true, but it was a product of it's time. Wives were taught to have supper ready and greet your man at the door with his slippers in your hand. They had little girls read books written on proper wifely etiquette. Look at carears options available to women back then; nurse, teacher, or none. Lol. Thabk goodness those days are long gone.
As a kid, I related to the magic in the show and dreamed of being able to do my chores with a twitch of my nose. Lol.
They couldn't understand that Darrin knew that mortals couldn't handle it.
*"Oh, you little dear!! Welcome to the fold!!"* 💖💞
I agree..
The grandmother is the best!
Don't understand why the dad is so mad. What did he expect when he married a witch? Double standards.
Jade Young To be fair, if you recall, Samantha was not forthcoming to Darren about her witchcraft until after they were married, so that was shytty on her part.
@@robp9995 But she is a witch- and it is ridiculous not to think that his child would not be - when his wife is. How can he says he loves his wife but does not love a major part of who she is?
@@swordchild0013 again, he found out AFTER. It takes time for people to get used to things
Later on in the series he nearly lost Sam due to her not expelling any of her magic, almost like a kind of body poisoning of a magical kind, much recrimination of him after Doctor Bombay hit home about it
I know right. I couldn't stand Darren. He was always trying to change Samantha 🥴
I would love a remake of this show where Samantha's arch is her learning to embrace her witch culture
Not a good Idea Knowing how Hollywood Is right now there gonna end up ruining It with political stuff
@@Krypton853 THANK YOU!!!!!!!
They would ruin it. ☹
No !! This show is just fine the way it is
I feel like the best arc would've been Darrin learning to be more open and understanding. Samantha would've been happy to accept who she was if not for wanting to Fit In
Tabatha was so adorable.
Now that's one way to get the pretty pony.
Why don't she just make a real pony pop in....oh I think she does in one episode.......that was the whole part of the lunicy of this show that was not in the flop movie ...
Tabitha’s pony is soooo cute!!!
I used to love this show when I was young. Tabitha was so cute. It was such a fun show. I loved Elizabeth Montgomery and Uncle Arthur(Paul Lynde), he was so funny.
MY FAVORITE TV SHOW BEWITCHED. I LOVE TABITHA.
Dick York played Darwood so well. He was so annoying that it was not difficult to dislike him, except for his hair. His hair was perfect.
I think Jon Hamm must have based Don Draper's hair on Darwood's hair.
I actually still love this Show💕
How Tabitha wasn't terrified of Endora is beyond me! Such an adorable girl🤗
Why would she be terrified of her grandmama?
🎉c?
This episode had the first episode music, when Sam tells Darrin that she is a witch
The way everything floats lol
The producers used invisible wires to make anything float.
Darren annoyed me so much cause he shamed Sam and her family for who they are. Like he was a bigot
STFU
Big Tuna 😒 is that all you got? Sit down

Darius was a bigot, without a doubt.
.52 Agnes / Endora's face expression is so precious. Just the right amount of vulnerability. 💜🌹
"Funny!"
Ahahaha, what a way to dismount a witch! I mean grandmama. I mean, hahaha!
Lots of love to you, Endora! I feel for you.
Endora had been chomping at to tell Darrin the bit ever since
Geniuses often runs in the maternal side of the family.......... Tabitha's a pridology witch at such a young age. Epic.
I remember when I was little and I got in trouble for lying. I was being sad while watching Bewitched. Realizing that there was a lot of lying going on in that episode and why was I in trouble and they weren’t.
samatha tabitha and endora are the good witches ever. i love bewitched so much ❤
So when Tabitha got her powers measured, she was deemed very powerful, but Samantha said at the end of that particular episode that Tabitha was limited! I wonder in what aspects is she limited?
Probably just by virtue of being a baby. Any skill takes practice.
Tabitha's powers as described in the episode had great potential but like in a lot of matters, needed lot of instruction. I would find it difficult growing up in the seventies and early eighties, she would grow up as straight laced as her mom and one can easily imagine her meeting lots of teenage mortal and witches and warlocks and seeing the world and there is no way she would not learn how to use her powers
@TRUMP FOR JAILHOUSE PRESIDENT! Well how come some witch did not take over the world....i wonder....something would stop them?....the witch's concel maybe....i know in another witch series it was....in sabrina the teenage witch....

Tabitha is so cute with her bows.
LOL Darrens top lip always gets me...
Me too, especially when he kisses her. I don't know how Sam kissed him lol.
I love Bewitched!
Wish they would put bewichted back on TV love this show
I went to Jr. High School with Erin and Diane. Serrano JHS. In El Toro Ca. Maybe 74 or 75.
I get the feeling this was Diane.
Omgosh I do look a lot like Samantha. Never really watched the show. I hear it every now and then .
No matter how much you try you will always be our Tabitha
Samantha was such a good mother!
not me getting the Wandavision ad before this
I always wondered by Larry always invited clients to Derwoods house and not his own
I think he had a crush on Sam.
I STILL LOVE THE OLD TV SHOWS
I used to stay up late to watch this on Nick at Nite! Loved it
I used to watch this series with my Mom!
Que recuerdos que me trae esta serie de mi niñez. Fantastica serie!!!😘😘😘😘
*"Tabitha is a typical, avreage baby, just, like the doctor said."* I Love IT!! Although, who are we kidding Samantha?? 👈💖
I'm looking for this show geez
Tabitha is cute 😊
I hated Darrin for not allow her to user her powers, as if was wrong. He was so selfish
Trniyy Falldown it was really appropriate for the time. Women were just starting to explore their power outside of being a housewife. I think that this show was an allegory for that exploration and that Darren’s reaction to and rejection of witch powers reflected how men of that era reacted to women seeking higher education and meaningful work outside of the home. Darren continually tried to assert his authority over Samantha, was thwarted, and then emotionally evolved with each conflict.
@@shaalijones3484 The problem was they reset him each episode so it seemed he never learned and just made his character look abusive. It should have had him evolve over time to fully love, accept and support Sam as she is the way she does to him and they sort out the magical mishaps together. Not just Sam each episode running around constantly fretting "what Darren will do when he finds out". Especially once the little ones came along, between the kids, the mortals and Kooky family members there was enough conflict to make each episode funny without him being a whiney child to the very end.
Lady Locket true enough, but the writers did continually push his envelope. And, Sam, while trying to be ordinary, always defaulted to her true self. Right from the beginning Darwood (snicker) would tell her to behave like a good little wife/child and Sam would launch shrimp cocktail at a person trying to put her down. Result: Darren would hurumph and then hug her. Sam always, in the end, held true to herself and Darren accepted her, their age difference (300 years 😜) her delightfully kooky family, a witch for a daughter, and chaos all around.
He wasn't selfish. If people had known they were witches they would have been persecuted.
Marvelous in one extra way too.
Thank you for the video.
I always wanted to be Tabitha, just twitch my nose for anything I wanted. And a Grandmama with a wicked sense of humor.🤣
☺️ ✌️ 🖖 😷
They got Erin Murphy to rub her nose .
She was so cute.
Fun fact: she doesn't twitch her nose, she twitches her top lip.
Larry always be bringing clients to Darrin's house unexpectedly.
Awww... LOL she is very so cute and sweet!!
TABITHA WAS SO TALENTED . SHE GOT HER POWERS. AT AGE. 1. MY FAVORITE TV SHOW BEWITCHED.
I'm subscribed & bingeing on the clips I find - which is great for your channel. I'd like MORE FULL EPISODES PLEASE 👍
It was bad enough that Darren was so prejudiced and bigoted but for Sam to be ashamed of her own daughter for what she was, that cuts hard for any kid rejected by their parents who are supposed to love them no matter what.
Darwin . I love how she never remembers his band . 😂
Name
They should have done right now , Tabitha and Adam as adults with their spouses and kids!
I think this is the episode, Nobody's perfect
Yes, that's the name of that Bewitched episode! I know because I have the entire DVD set of that classic TV show. Now I'm trying to figure out which episode is the one when Cousin Sarena turned Darrin's mother into a cat.
Qué maravilla. La serie favorita de mi infancia.
Does anyone realize that Endora was the queen of the cateye LOL!!
ELIZABETH MONTGOMERY WAS SO PRETTY AND TABATHA WAS SO CUTE
Who else noticed Erin (or maybe this was her sister) trying to play with Agnes Moorehead’s costume and Agnes kept having to low-key discourage her while she continued acting the scene.
She covered it well!!
@@butchieblock9118 She did, without breaking her concentration. Erin was determined to get at that costume and play with it!
As I read in the comment below how you people giving Darrin a hard time for not letting his wife and child be who they are You people realize this was made in 60s right. During those times people are not aware of a lot of things as they are today. What Is acceptable today It wasn't during those times.
They also don't understand that for a show to work it has to have conflict and the conflict where Darrin didn't want witchcraft in their home is what causes all the antagonism between him and Endora and also other members of her family and that made the show funny. It was hilarious to see all the stuff Endora did to him. If there was no conflict then there is no show.
Excellent acting.👍🏻
Amo este seriado quando era criança adorava assitir pena q não passa mas saudades do bom tempo
Samantha - She can get the pretty pony - oh, my stars ! I F'n Love Bewitched 😀
Thank you.
So great led the way for so many ideas in hollywood
Ive never heard of this show, but I really like it! its like a Halloweentown prequel where Maggie could visit the kids and stir chaos
Ii is also A Harry Potter prequel, or rather, Harry Potter is the Bewitched sequel- Bewitched, then Harry Potter both have people traveling by fireplace, hidden magical worlds, moving photos, schools of witchcraft and half-bloods!
Also, Endora and Clara are defiantly Weasleys-Arthur Weasley's sisters!
That's a beautiful baby girl.
