Maggie, slid into the RA-verse and fought the commies and then got stranded the Stargate-verse after missing the slide window and married John. And somewhere in between became a sheriff of a small town and battled giant spiders with Dewey from the Scream films.
Its sad yet funny how everyone probably looks down on him and think he is just a military grunt wasting his life. Would love for his ex wife and his brother to find out Sheppard has saved the a galaxy and will save earth.

What should had happened was that the SGC should had tested John's entire family to see which has the highest ATA levels and compatible to be able to use the Ancient control interface chair. Then they chose which will be a possible backup.

I always liked the episodes back in the real world. The contrast between sci fi and normal 21st century earth was always a breath of fresh air.
