    Another great way to scale the budget is launch another ad account and run exactly the same ads on both of them. Worked really well for couple of my clients.

    Love this Dara! We do the same method of scaling by 20% only and just repeat it if the performance is still good after a few days.
    I also agree that there are just certain brands that are really easier to scale most especially the brands that are problem-solution type of products. (Ex. Products solving skin issues) We actually observed that with the brands we handle. And yes there are not a problem-solution brands that can be easy to scale as well, examples are Luxury type of products that hit a certain market. (ex. Jewelry)

    We've definitely run across scaling too fast and running into ad fatigue and production issues... we've had to scale down now unfortunately and are trying to get the creative side back on track since we bought stock... learning a lot though and it's a fun ride!

    Hi Dara, thanks for this content as usual. Can you speak also on what I call the good boy v bad boy strategy? What I mean is sometimes when you scale by 20%, the performance is not better. Thank it's a good practice (in my opinion) to lower the budget and when Meta starts to be a good boy again. rise it.
    The issue I see that sometimes it feels like it's not possible to scale more. For example I have a campaign which spends 50$ per day and gets me 10 sales. If I scale, the sales stops or are less but not from 10 to 8 but like from 10 to 3. So it feels like scaling reaches some kind of cap. Can you do some content on this one please?
    P.s. And yes, we are adding new creatives every week and stopping the non performers.
    P.P.S. Also it would be nice to keep in mind that not all of us run a big ecom. For example I run ads for a digital product or a course which with 20 sales per day is more than ok and we often achieve this fithh 50$ to 80$/day budget. It would be nice to see some examples also to whom like me, is not spending 1500K a day...and not because I can't, but because i'm (as many and many others like me) are not able to get out of the 100$/day spend. The ads just stop to work over a certain limit.

    Being in the fashion business. It is a huge problem because you have a new launch and you cant scale until you sort the production. Been here. The only way to get ahead is when one launch happens the next launch should already be in process.

    Hey dara! Watched your «how to test fb ads creative» yt video and i like The idea of testing 2-3 ad variations with different variables for example 1-3 sec video hooks. - But whats your thoughts about 1 adset with 1 ad so it gets fair spend? what is pros cons with this?

I love your content, I work as a paid media strategist for a small business insurance company, we've been scaling our budgets significantly over the past few weeks but not seeing the impact, and my gut tells me that this is because we haven't introduced any new creatives. My question for you is that:
    How do I efficiently test creatives? We added a bunch of new creatives to our Adv+ campaign, but Meta prioritized 80% to the existing top performers, and second question, how do I scale spend on a specific creative? your insight would be really appreciated, thank you!!

    Thanks Dara, I was struggling with planning budget. Your video was very helpful. But I like to ask the sheet is an example for 1 campaign with CBO budget setting or how? And in your ad acc, I saw you setup ABO budget in test campaign which has many daily budget differrent, how to use the sheet? Is it the amount of money we put in each cell a total of all daily budget of all adset? Thank you!

    Hey great video and thanks for sharing your knowledge. I am running a shop with multiple different products. should I just fill one adv+ campaign with ads for all products or create separate adv+ campaigns for the products? I had one campaign for all and Each time I scale performance drops to almost 0 sales.

    WIth adv+ at least next 2 days after making any changes (even increase budget by 1%) results are much worse. Slowly increasing budgets doesn't make sense. Make a big jump of faith and that's all

    If I duplicate a campaign, does the system also automatically duplicate the learnings of that specific campaign so that the new campaign will start based on those learnings? And if I duplicate only an adSet in an other campaign, do the learnings of the adSet will be duplicated and the campaign where I’m duplicating the adset in will be affected too?

    When you speak about 1 creative test per week, how many creatives are you speaking about?
    I work with an agency at 1000$/day and every week they launch 6 images and 6 videos
    So I was just wondering how many creatives do you refer in “a creative test” and how many variations of each in the ABO?

    Hey Dara,
    I was wondering if you had seen this update in any of your ad accounts. When I was doing broad no-interest targeting in a CBO or ABO campaign in the past, the reach for Australia was 19-22 million. Now, it's down to 12-14.8 million. However, for Advantage Plus campaigns, which essentially is broad no-interest targeting, the reach is still 19-22 million.
    I'm curious why Advantage Plus campaigns are suddenly reaching twice the audience compared to traditional CBO or ABO broad no-interest campaigns, which used to have the same audience size but are now 2x lower.
    Is this because meta wants us to use advantage plus now and not cbo/abo broad no interest targeting anymore?
    Your opinion on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello! I have a question, when you find a winner ad in your creative test campaign, what do you do with that creative? Send it to the advantage+ campaign? Or you scale it up in the same adset when you test it? or you make a new advantage + camnpaign for that specific ad?

      Great question. In some cases: all three.
      If a creative is working, the first thing to do is add more budget in place to see if performance holds.
      If you've 2-4x'd spend over a period of time (different for different scale points), then yes, duplicate the ad (using post IDs) into a scaling campaign (this may be an ASC+ campagin) to see how it competes against other top performers.

      Plenty of people start here, but it's tough especially if you're targeting the US. Download the sheet, try forecasting some scaling journeys. I wouldn't be as aggressive, maybe 10% every week.

    You can increase your budget by 20% every day without resetting your learning phase.

      @@flus. you can do 15% if you want but she’s the 4th marketing person I’ve seen say no more than 20% at a time, so I’m just going by them. Meta has a wealth of info on about their ads on their website if you’re concerned about anything. Or just google questions you have and I’m sure you’ll find the answer you’re looking for.
