- Enjoy the launch of the first of our two-part documentary Back Home: Jack Wilshere’s First Season, focusing on our under-18s boss’ transition from player to manager.
Our cameras followed the former Hale End product as he took his first steps into coaching our academy side, and tracked their FA Youth Cup campaign, as they embarked on a dramatic run right from their opening match through to the final in front of a large crowd at Emirates Stadium.
And our supporters can go right into the heart of the setup and hear Jack’s team talks before, during and after games, as well as hear from the man himself about how he fared and the highs and lows of the job, and some of the youngsters developing under the former England international.
Part one, which is currently available exclusively for Arsenal members, sees Jack and his team at the start of their Youth Cup adventure, as they navigate their way past Millwall and Newcastle United before heading into a crunch game against Watford in the fifth round which proved to be a rollercoaster of emotions for Jack.

I'm a Manchester United supporter, through and through, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. Amazing content from Arsenal and I was just saying to my best friend who's a die hard Gunner, that Arsenal are building something special from top to bottom with the way the whole club is being run and this documentary about Wilshere and his U18s is proof of that.

@@akmal94ibrahim he has more natural ability than Saka but Saka has the complete package. Physical strength, athleticism and decision making. If Amario can bulk up a bit and improve his decision making then we've got a potential worldie on our hands

Man United fan here and a healthy Jack Wilshere was always one of my favorite players to watch, hated that he never reached his potential as a player but I'm glad to see him happy, healthy and thriving in his new opportunity!

I love that Jack kicks about with them and takes opportunities to join in on the sessions. Shows how much he still loves playing, and seeing him play is a great example for the younger players
him and aaron ramsey made me fall in love with this club
2 amazing players that injuries thwarted them from fulfilling their potential to be world greats. Ramsey managed to have a pretty good career after his brutal injury but had to learn how to run differently and was besotted by hamstring problems.
This is a fantastic insight into the amazing work Jack is doing with our youth. Congratulations to the team behind the video. We love you Jack, and we love you lads. This is proper Arsenal, playing football the Arsenal way.

Jack Wilshere I knew was a player who had a tremendous talent but plagued by constant injuries and at times, didn't know how to manage himself. That's why I thought when Jack was taking a coaching training, I thought he will never be a successful coach. Seeing this video, I can see how much he has matured as a person. So happy to see him matured as an adult and as a person.
