- I reset the best time in my 2.3 VMP Cobra three times in one day. I added in a tubular K and Maximum Motorsport coil-overs. Stock block, stock cams, 93 octane fuel, and stock fuel system.

Love the time got the same setup besides the tubular k memebervand g force axle. I just upgraded Ford gt fuel pumps wanna take mine to the track bit need to figure out wheel setup what types of wheels are those and size?
Richard Stephens I have Racestars on the car. 17x4.5 on the front and 15x10s on the rear.

What size front runner and rear?
Magdaleno Mancilla front runners are 17x4.5 and the rears are 15x10. Both 26 inch tall.

Still a force to be reckoned with. Your 2 last passes were spot. Just a little tire slip, you’re on point with your shifts, and gearing and tire size combination has you going thru the traps right at the top of 4th. Many out there wish to be this dialed. Hope you still have her and are taking good care of her. I just found this vid.

What clutch and cable? I can’t get the shifting that quick in my 03 cobra. Love it! Also how many miles and has it been reliable? Mines at 66 thousand. Thanks

What kinda fuel pressure are you getting with the stock system?
Sorry, I can’t remember. This was a few years ago. The fuel system consisted of 60lb injectors, stock fuel pumps, and a boost a pump.
Some of the best if not the best shifting I've seen. Well done sir. My car looks identical to yours with similar mods. KB 2.2 @ 21 lbs. Fore return style fuel system with FRPP 80# injectors on E85. What kinda power does your VMP set up make?
Happy New Years bro! Thanks for the compliment. During this time my car was making 618 rwhp on pump 93. Now the car makes 744 on E85.

@jeffedmisten6576 yeah the car went 9.9 @141. I should have gone faster on one pass but shredded the blower belt. My plan is to get back out there this year. The car is full weight minus a K member, but I have a iron diff in the car, so it evens the weight back out.

What do you currently run and what setup are you wanting to run?
@@BoostBrosRacing haven't been to the track yet. Haven't had the car long enough. Pullied eaton. 8.8 swap. 3.55 gears. Getting UPR adjustable control arms, retune, JLT cai, o/r x pipe, a catback (haven't decided yet), and maybe a 150 shot. I don't care if I run a 10.99999999999 I just want to run a 10 this year at 20 years old on my own budget.

@@rickytate9515 I would do a blower upgrade, return style fuel setup and a new clutch. That will be more than enough to make your power number.

@@rickytate9515 I would definitely say Whipple has it figured out with their Gen 5 3.0 and Gen 4 2.9. VMP has a great 2.3 blower (which is what I run). VMP has a newer 2.6 blower, but I haven’t seen anybody racing with one. Lastly, Kenne Bell is another option that make great blowers as well in a variety of sizes.
