We’re now going to be going through Live Shows for all kinds of different bands every
Wednesday, starting with
A Kind of Magic Live at Wembley! 😁🔥
Thank you all so much for all the love and support through all these vids! Have a great day darlings! 😁❤️
Andy & Alex check out you take my breath away live by queen
@@Mitchis_Euphoria omg yes please
Andy & Alex when you say live shows do you mean the whole concert or just single songs?
@emmasadler1
Mostly single songs only because we don’t have too much free time sadly 😭
So does live shows mean you also watch the performance (if video available)?
We were standing at a street car stop in New Orleans just this past Friday and a car pulled up to the light with this song blasting and everyone waiting started singing along, it was such a great moment.
Jo B sooo good
Jo B that is so cool..if I had been there I would have rocked out too..lol. love this song....Freddie was the best!!
I live in New Orleans for 8 years...this is so amazingly, wonderfully typical. Thank you.
That story make me so happy and I wasn't even there.
The flip side of this song is 'Bicycle'....therefore the 'get on your bike and ride' Whew! what a trip!
And the "fat bottomed girls, they'll be riding today" line from Bicycle Race too, both songs allude to each other
The R rated with topless girls on bicycles?
MartelAndQueen the original vinyl single was a double a piece so they could be played together
Bicycle Race
What a great band Queen was . They had a great chemistry, harmonies and each of them had magic !
Great reaction guys. Keep in mind that this video was made BEFORE MTV. They made these things just because they wanted to.
They often had mini concerts where they performed for their Fanclub members and filmed them to use footage for the video. Maybe this was from one of them.
Most Videos made before MTV were made for band live or record promotional's. TV ads etc.
This video was for Top of the Pops, a weekly Brittish show
The song is shortened by about 47 seconds on this video.. I sing this one as a favorite on karaoke nights.."GET ON YOUR BIKES AN RIDE!!"
Amateurish, lip-synching hacks. Third tier group at best.
Freddie Marcury, can perform in leather pants, or Betty Boop t-shirt or shorts and a Snoopy cap and make it work.
PipoZePoulp he also can perform with booty shorts and a hat and get away with it
Have you noticed Alex looks a bit like Freddie..
The man was 110% swag...
And if you watch "I Want It All", you find out he could also rock in a sharp-pressed button-down and a tie. While dying of AIDS, and still making it sound great.
, Freddy was a great singer but you can't ignore the fact he was gay. Singing about a woman with a big ass and how much it gets him off just isn't a gay man's Forte. It is so pretentious it's complete fucking bullshit.
I like how Alex knows the song and is still blown away by the opening notes.
Kathleen every time 😂😂
I mean, how could you not? This is one song where I actually kind of wish you guys had done a live version... they rock it harder and faster, and the live harmonies are killer. The Paris version that’s on the Bo Rhap soundtrack is my favorite... tuck that away for a future live Wednesday!
Who isn't...That chord is tight
This song has special meaning to me on many levels. I was living and working in New Orleans in 1980. My older brother back in Illinois was in the final stages of a rare leukemia. During what would be his last remission he came down to visit and wanted to hit Canal ST and have some fun. At one point we found ourselves in what we thought was a strip joint. After a few drinks the lights go down and Fat bottom girls starts blaring out of the house PA. Suddenly this enormous black "lady" comes out on stage and starts dancing and swinging around the pole. After while we realized she was really a he in drag. As we were leaving we noticed the sign over the door called "The most beautiful boys in the world".....ANyway they always say you remember where you were the 1st time you hear a new song and that is a fact:)
😂
this tune hit the radio like sledge hammer, boom it was was every where.
a great song to get a speeding ticket because of.
"She was such a naughty nanny" ... Andy looks at Alex like "whaaaat"??
When my husband and I first started going out in college, we bonded over the fact that we both have the same favorite Queen song--and this is it. He actually got to see Queen live in concert before Freddie died...I shall never forgive him for that (we've been married 31 years).
Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow! It's amazing! It's short, though, so maybe a double-whammy with Lap of the Gods from the same show (1974) featuring Roger's otherworldly falsetto. :)
I know every single word of stone cold crazy but i will be god damned if i can get them out as fast as freddie 😂
Yes! Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow please! It's only 2:20. Short but oh so sweet! Hold onto your hats!
@@barbhoffman4531 stone cold crazy and keep yourself alive are a good combo and both are "sorta" short (not really keep yourself a live but lets pretend it is!)
@Jasna Talking about wanting to break something, a lot of people say the same thing when they listen to Gimme The Prize! Another kick ass heavy metal tune from Queen.
Yes, yes, yes to doing both as they’re both shorter songs!,
I knew you were going to drop the weekly Queen reactions 😭😭😭
@Matthew Lee
Sorry bud, had to eventually, it’s not the end of Queen though, just won’t have it every week, gotta have a little more wiggle room for other groups too, lots of exploring to do! 😭😁
Andy & Alex okay 🤣
For me Live At Montreal 1981 is the best Queen live show ever
Yes. Yes. So much yes. I will be honest by saying I have never really been a fan of "Another One Bites The Dust" because it was so overplayed at every high school sports event I went to/played in but the version at that concert completely reformed me. That little strutt he does with the mic stand under his ass across the stage while looking at Roger gets me every damn time ❤❤❤ hands down, in my opinion, best live concert of them and the quality of the film is UNBELIEVEABLE!
Live in Houston 1977
Agree.
by far, bro.
jjmillenium blackshade yes & live aid!!
Lap of the gods live at Rainbow 74 is amazing especially with Roger’s falsettos!!! You should check it out
Giorgia Inaimo Pieber yes!
I have been saying this for MONTHS!
Yeeeessss
Yes!After this version they made the edited/revised version...which is also very good in it’s own right. If you could listen to them back to back, even better. Still waiting for Stone Cold Crazy at the Rainbow too.
Giorgia Inaimo Pieber Oh YES!!!
Nothing else to add ☺ keep enjoying QUEEN 🇬🇧👍😘 x
It's hard to imagine this great song being released today; the humorless PC police would lose their minds.
The humorless PC brigade already complained about this song and Bicycle Race back in 1977. lol
What the hell are you talking about? The subject of this song is literally one third of all hip hop
@Chris Check Obviously, and there are people who complain about these things.
@@HollowGolem My point was that people have become so sensitive to everything that a fun song like this would have some people up in arms. "Oh my you're fat shaming" etc.
@@jamescrane2156 Foxy Shazam had a decent hit with "I Like It" back in 2012 with similar subject matter. Coincidentally, they have a considerable Queen influence.
Hey guys I'm 56 yrs old rockin lady I try to teach my grandkids to listen to good old rock music so I'm really glad to see you guys listening but... Guys you have got to check out AC DC LIVE AT RIVERFLATT
Kim Key we will ❤️
Really sad to hear you're dropping Queen Wednesdays I looked forward to it! I'm going to miss this. Wembley '86 is an absolute must!
Pat McNair remember it’s not like Queen is leaving forever we just only have so many days to explore music and we get asked to do so many live shows that we decided to try doing it instead but that being said we just need to make sure all the love stuff we watch is just as good 😏
Wednesday has been a favorite far of the week!! Lots of Queen live to check out! They delivered, even just giving you a fake video!
I'm gonna miss that too...
July 12th Sat version !
The one vision tour you mean? Yeah a must must must... best live concert I have ever seen !!!
This song, and Bicycle Races, came from the album Jazz which came with a poster with a photo of a load of naked girls with fat bottoms riding bicycles. Gotta love the 70s
ONE VISION (extended version)!!!!
SERIOUSLY
Musician, musician, musician, musician, and singer, singer ,singer. Now THAT is Queen. 4 super talented song wriiters.
Only Freddie could wear shiny pants without a shirt and pull it off so well! What a showman and a talented vocalist! The band was awesome in all aspects. This is a great song! "Ride 'em, cowboy!" lol
Andy and Alex another great reaction 😊
I will suggest some Queen
You take my breath away - Hyde Park 76
Stone cold crazy
In the lap of the gods - Rainbow 74 ( the Rainbow show is one of my fav )
Now I am here - Wembley 1986
Save me - Montreal 1981
My Melancholy Blues - Houston 77 .......
Just to name a few.
Thank you. Cheers friends ❤
totally agree
Staying Power live at Milton Keynes Bowl, 1982!! It is so much different than the studio version: Roger's powerful drumming take it to another level. And Deacy plays electric guitar instead of bass guitar!
Great suggestion; I was at that concert. The band flew in on a helicopter over the crowd and I remember Freddie hanging out the door waving to everyone.
One of the most fabulous things about Queen is that no two songs sound alike but all are unmistakably Queen...
I have mentioned soooooo many times Andy and Alex, what incredible Queen full concerts to listen too. Live at Wembley Friday 12th of July 1986, Live in Budapest Hungary, and Live in Montreal 1981.
Great video - will miss Queen Wednesdays, and you had SO MANY more great songs to hear (many never performed live) - but thanks for the fabulous ride.
Roger Utting don’t worry! We are still hitting Queen it just isn’t tied to a specific day 😏
I’m going to keep bugging you to react to the One Vision docuvideo, watch them craft a wonderful song and see how they work together.
I second that and the live extended video too
I was very fortunate to see them in the 80s. Phenomenal concert. No one comes close to Freddie
Live shows!! It is still gonna be Queen 👑 live shows preference for me💕 but I’m only one subscriber. I suggest the live Stone Cold Crazy @ the Rainbow ‘74. I hope one of these days, you boys will hear my plea😂. Fat Bottom Girls, Brian May’s song... I did not realize it was him in the beginning, I would associate him to White Queen type of song... but he’s versatile, so...😂 thanks for the nice Wednesday you’ve brought to us, Queenies!! 9.4 rate is quite high, Andy! Thanks!!! Glad you like it that much😊
@Wing
Hey wing! And yes I’ll be sure to throw in Queen for the live mixes often! Glad you’ve enjoyed all the Wednesday’s friend! 😁
I read that Brian wrote the song for Freddie because he liked fat bottom girls...and boys.
Sheer Heart Attack is hair raising❤
So excited for the live A kind of magic video. I reckon you guys will totally dig it. 😊
So, I’m gonna throw two very different Queen performances at you cos I know you’ll enjoy them. Number 1 is Who Wants To Live Forever live at Wembley 1986 (preferably Saturday but doesn’t really matter), it’s one of Freddie’s most powerful and intense vocal showcases and it’s a must watch.
Second, and one much more obscure, is Back Chat live at The Bowl 1985. Back Chat was one of their disco songs from the infamous Hot Space, and tbh I doubt you’d enjoy the studio version. But for this live performance they chuck in one of my favourite May guitar solos ever (no lie) and Freddie’s showmanship make it such a fun performance to watch. But of course, any Queen live show is a win!
Finally this song has been listened too. Alex I love how you are passionate about Queen. Andy you are awesome for listening to this song. This song needs full volume, thank you so much guys for this video. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Keep yourself alive & Another One Bites The Dust (Live Rock Montreal) 👍
Hi guys. I really enjoyed watching your Queen journey!! I really thought you guys were just still at the beginning of your Queen story!!! I loved it when Alex joined the ride!!! I'll still check you guys out sometimes!!! And I will definitely see you when you have Queen on. My Wednesdays are going to be so sad now and I am really disappointed. But my main reason for watching, was to see Queen. I respect your choice to move on, so thanks for such a fun time!! Goodbye for now!!
@Lolli Nelson
Hallo Lolli ! Hope you are well and happy ! I agree with your sadness that these two great young men have apparently left the Queen trail, but I have at least left a comment to them directly recommending "Headlong", like we spoke about not long ago. Cheers for now, Steve Prince.😘
@@SNP-1999 Great Stephen!! I am so surprised they are stopping Queen Wednesday so soon!! It's like walking out on your birthday party half way through opening your presents!!! They are finally getting to the good stuff, and Headlong is perfect!!! Let me know if they do it so I can come back for it!!! I'll look for you on other Queen sites. You might try Jaunty Hat Society!! She has impeccable taste in Queen songs, and a really deep knowledge! I hope to see you over there!!
@@lollinelson5549
Thanks for the tip, Lolli, I will look her channel up and see what she has to offer, but if you recommend it I know without even looking that there will be some good things to see and hear from Queen. I checked another channel named "Ray Newton", which was given by a viewer here in the comments section to be a good Queen site, but couldn't find anything of interest for us, but it was just a brief sighting so I may have overlooked something. Of course, should Andy & Alex review anything you may like, I will find a way to contact and inform you as soon as possible. All the best for you, Stephen. 😘
(Love talking to you).
@@SNP-1999 Thanks so much!!! You are the best!!!
@@lollinelson5549
Just a quick postscript to tell you that a had a quick look at Jaunty Hat - she does have some good videos....but then so do you ! I was going to write this final message when I somehow klicked on your logo picture instead of the "reply" button and found out that you have collected over 400 Queen videos, some with quite rare footage ! And here I was calling myself a great Queen fan !!! Great work, Lolli, would you mind if I have a closer look at some of the videos you uploaded onto your playlist ? 😘
Peter Gabriel, 1993 (or 1994) Secret World Concert, “In Your Eyes”. An amazing song and performance. You should watch the whole concert sometime. I wish I could have seen this in person. 💕
I did and it was one of the greatest concerts I have ever seen. (and I have seen Rush 35 times!)
Freddie is a freakin' beast.....so damn hot. I don't care who or what you are......you gotta a pulse.....you'd fancy him. Oh , and the boy can sing. RIP Freddie you left a beautiful legacy
Pauline Maclellan one of the greatest voices of all time!
@@alexfromandyandalex8032 You bet your sweet life he was and will always be the best singer to have graced this earth. Any time you listen (and I have been so doing from the get go 😍) you hear the power, the delicacy the subtle nuances the emotion that takes you to ........ another place. Freddie was "A Kind. of Magic" and we should be grateful that these four men met up and provided the soundtrack to not just my generation ......but for yours too. We truly witnessed a musical genius and , as far as I am concerned, no one but no one will ever come close.
Vote for Queen
Live version:
Stone Cold Crazy - live at rainbow’74
Tie Your Mother Down - live at Montreal’81
Now I’m Here - live at Wembley’86 or in any other 70s 80s concert (been on the set list most times)
Rockin good! 🤘🏻🤟🏻
Video/Studio version:
Princes of The Universe - A Kind fo Magic album
Let Me Entertain You - Jazz album
I am loving you guys get into Queen. Fat Bottomed Girls Is ‘our song’-it’s just a great, funny song, with Freddie & the boys doing all the overdubs. I’m not gonna make any suggestions-I love all Queen songs. Watching you guys react makes my day-keep it up.
Oh yes!!!! Freddie, Freddie !! just another of my favourites & the guys as always superb 😍😍 all queens live concerts are greats..always good to see & hear your comments guys 😘
I had read this was filmed at a concert location, but maybe w/o an audience. A lot of their early 'studio videos" (and Radio Ga Ga, etc) were filmed in front of members of their Fan Club, which is still in existence.
This is one of my most favourite Queen songs EVER. It is just such FUN.
Liar is a fab Performance video, any Live concert from Queen is a must, at the moment I am watching Live at the Rainbow 1974 and Live at the Odeon.
Live at the Odeon is one of my favorites.
Hahaa! I always thought that Freddie had something to do with the writing of this song and then I found out it was Brian May!!! this is my fun Queen song!!
Totally gotta do “Save me” live in Montreal. Perfection
One of my favorite Queen live performance is their cover of the songs "You're So Square Baby I Don't Care", "Hello Mary Lou Goodbye Heart" and "Tutti Frutti" at Wembley '86. The whole energy and the way all of Queen is up at the front together instead of being spread around the stage like they usually are is so amazing. That performance really captures all of their personalities which I love. (If you do decide to react to it there's a video with all three songs) 💛💛
Yes! I love Queen performing old time Rock 'n Roll songs! They had so much fun with it!
Yes, their “the band at the front of the stage” routines in their concerts were great! They often did Love of my Life & 39 in these routines!
The Jimi Hendrix Expierence - Wild Thing live at Monterey pop festival 1967 (The one where he lights his guitar on fire while performing)
1970's 'Bad Company' by Bad Company. The original. They call Paul Rogers 'The Voice' for a reason. This guy was known for laying down tracks in one take. Oh yeah, he also toured with Queen a few years ago doing vocals for them.
Great reaction, I love Alex's long hair! You guys work so well together. Not live versions, but you guys have to see Princes of The Universe, it is one of Queen's best songs, in my opinion. It will show you guys that Queen rocked hard in the 80's as well. Gimme The Prize is another interesting 80's song, it is a heavy metal song, with a bagpipe guitar solo! How can you go wrong with that combination! One of my other favorite live performances is Nirvana Unplugged in New York, Where Did You Sleep Last Night.
**Zenobia** I’ve actually heard princes of the universe and plan on a music share Monday for it soon
@@alexfromandyandalex8032 Wow, that is awesome to hear! I can't wait! And a relieve as well, as I said it is one of my favorite Queen songs. I was afraid you guys might miss out on it. You should check out Gimme The Prize as well, it is actually from the same album and it was also written for the Highlander movie just like Princes of the Universe. Freddie wrote Princes of the Universe for the movie and Brian wrote Gimme The Prize, it is the theme song of the villain (apparently). It is very heavy metal (for that period). As a vocalist it might interest you, it was really a throat destroyer song. Even if you just check it out for yourself. Queen have a lot of interesting metal influences, you guys never really covered those types of songs.
"Queen - SAVE ME - Live from Hammersmith 1979" is very strong, or "Queen - Save Me (Live) High Definition Montreal" sounds and looks great. Basically any live version of Save Me is awesome!
Great reaction guys! Miss your Queen reactions..... love your channel 😊
dana appleton don’t worry we are still doing them 😊 they just won’t be on a specific day
I love that you mentioned Bicycle Race in this video. Bicycle Race is the B-side to this song and the songs reference each other the lyrics. There is a line in this songs that says get on your bikes and ride. Then there is a line in Bicycle Race that says Fat bottom girls they'll be riding today. Also fun fact, Freddie wrote Bicycle Race after watching the Tour de France go by his hotel.
The awkward moment when Brian, one of the most wholesome out of the group, is the one who wrote this song 😂😂😂
Oh yeah. Brian likes an ample posterior. So should a song celebrating this be considered not PC? I say no. They're singing the praises of the big butt! The lyrics are a hoot.
Queen at the Live Aid concert.
55 yr old Grandma here....having flashbacks. As a teenager in the 70's and early 80's, I used to watch The Midnight Special and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert on my 13 inch B & W TV late at night, which is how I'd see videos like this one. Then, when I'd get an extra dollar, I'd go to the record store and buy the 45 for 99¢. I still have my original 45 of Fat Bottomed Girls and Bicycle. This just made me reminisce about that. You guys make me feel like dusting off my record player and playing that 45 once again. 😉💖
Thanks, once again, for the reaction videos you guys. 👍 You have good taste in music.
One of my favourites is I got to break free!
As far as live goes the concert live at Wembley is great any song from that show is amazing
@Andy & Alex
A few days ago I highly recommended that you watch the Pink Floyd live concert at "Live 8" in London in 2005 - not only one of their greatest live performances ever, but all four members, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, Richard Wright and Nick Mason were reunited there for the first time after their years long legal strife. Playing "Breathe", " Money", "Wish You Were Here" and "Comfortably Numb", Pink Floyd played their hearts and souls out - it makes one literally emotional to watch. Sheer pleasure !
Another " Live" video you must watch is Queen playing "Headlong" in a recording studio somewhere. The video from Queen's official CZcams channel is maybe not a true live performance, more of an arranged music video, but it is not only iconic that it was one of Freddie Mercury's last songs he recorded, from the "Innuendo" album, but it shows the boys having a fantastic time together and one would never have thought that Fred was so desperately ill - he bounces around the setting like a young god, at least 20 years younger ! Combined with the fantastic heavy rock music of the song on top and one can witness Queen at their absolute best ! Watch the video, lads, you will never forget it !
So, there you have my two heartily felt recommendations for your "Wednesday Live" programs, both featuring fantastic bands playing for all intents and purposes at the end of their combined musical careers, united together in their friendship to one another and their love of playing wonderful music. Knowing your taste in music now, you both will definitely love these performances. 😘
SNP1999 perfect suggestions 🔥🔥🔥
finally..
a week feels sooo looong.
I agree completely. I've been sitting here waiting for this all day.
@Kathleen
Hope it was worth the wait! LOVED this track!
And now it’s going to start being longer... :(
@@mayamaia3130 - I know. I'm sad, too.
You’re telling me 😪 I’ve collectively had 2 hours of sleep in three days
Looks like my last Queen Wednesday next week. Thanks Andy and Alex maybe catch you when I get a notification you have done something Queen. There is soo much material of this band that needs to be discovered. See ya on the flip side guys, love from Australia. ❤️🦘🇦🇺
Off the top of my head, two legendary live performances: Do You Feel Like We Do by Peter Frampton off Frampton Comes Alive. The second, Maggotbrain by Funkadelic off One Nation Under a Groove. Now Maggotbrain is not done by the original guitarist (Eddie Hazel) it's done by Michael Hampton, but it's easily my favorite live version of the song.
I remember when they announced that he had died. One of the saddest days of my life. He was brilliant and and I so wish he knew that you guys were doing this! Still sad! So with that being said...Thank you so much for me being able to relive through your eyes!
Dianna Barbee well we arnt leaving Queen we are just not doing it weekly ❤️ we still very much plan on exploring new music and in fact like the video said we are doing Queen next week too
@@alexfromandyandalex8032 Now you need to figure out a way to react to AC/DC! Thunderstruck!
As for A Kind Of Magic at Wembley, just make sure you watch the Saturday performance because Brian May was on fire.
It's such a trip watching you youngins' discovering *real* music - ppl actually playing instruments, not autotune or soundboard wizardry, that took them *years* to perfect, pouring their hearts & souls into their creations.
We just don't have it going on, anymore. Not many actual Artists left, the loss of Prince & Tom Petty were terrible blows.
Dry times, indeed, but keep digging! There's a whole Universe still to discover!
A REALLY GOOD LIVE PERFORMANCE is “I’m in love with my car “ Queen Rock Montreal 1981. You can hear the drums so much clearer in live performance and you get to see Roger sing in such a raw light. Check it out!!
@Katarina Hallerbach
We did a vid for that one! LOVED IT!!
As a 45 y/o parent, taken my son to many football camps. When this comes on the PA system, every kid out there knows it.
Since there are many Queen fans on this channel, I have to suggest to you a channel called "Ryan Newton". He uploads audience recordings of Queen concerts. You can find many popular and less known shows.
Thanks for the tip !🌟
@@SNP-1999 No problem
@@logexpTommy Also Queenlivemagic6 has some good Queen shows on it
“Get on your bikes and ride”! I remember when “Jazz” came out, it had a poster of a bunch of naked girls riding bikes included. I’m pretty sure it was limited to the first pressing.
The Hero/We Will Rock You (fast) opening ti Live at The Bowl, the energy is off the scale and the single best opening to one of their concerts I’ve ever heard.
Feels like '39 you say? Well they were both written by good ol' Bri!
Will miss Queen Wednesdays! Looking forward to some live show viewings though :) I'll suggest again, Now I'm Here at Wembley 86, it's a treat!
Not sure about Magic even for the live version, I'd have probably gone to the toilet during that song had I been at the show! 😂
I kinda get what he's going for. That jangly strumming feel is similar to '39. Especially where we hear the guitar by itself. One of Bri's specialties.
Good morning guys!! So glad you chose the video. Freddie is just off the chain in this one! He's just so stinkin' hot. Sorry, has to be said. 10 out of 10 for hotness. I suggest Dragon Attack Live at Montreal. The whole concert at Montreal is amazing.
Super sexy, slinky, sultry Freddie strutting across the stage in Montreal....oh my!!!! Also the lead up into the song is incredible!!!
Creeping Death live from Moscow 1991, actually ANY band or ANY song from that show. It was A free show that was part of the Monsters of Rock festival. It was played there right after the USSR dissolved and was LEGENDARY with an estimated 1.6 M in attendance. A MUST SEE.
Interesting that this is not a live performance but is in actual fact a staged performance just for video.
Brian and Roger have commented on the poor quality of the direction because it focuses so much on Freddie and hardly at all on John and Brian.
They both revealed how little control the band members had on the videos themselves.
Brilliant song, the album version is longer and better.
Sorry that you're not doing so many Queen songs in future. My own suggestion if you want early Queen heavy stuff is Son and Daughter. Please review that one.
Thanks, Antony
The video was great guys 👍🏻 and yeah I’m looking forward for your „Live Wednesdays“ 😊
And the song really is just perfect for camping or a road trip or something like that😂👌🏻
Oh and Alex don’t worry that much about the 80s 😉 yeah they had their Disco phase but they also did rock numbers🙏🏻 for example the song „Tear it up“
See you next time!!👌🏻
in the lap of the gods (NOT the revisited version) live at the rainbow 1974 might not be a banger, but rogers vocals towards the end of the song are SOOOOOO amazing, i get chills everytime. Also, Rogers drum and timpani solo in montreal 1981 is so good and just shows how talented he is. My favorite queen member is Roger as you cant tell lol
Just a bit of trivia, in case nobody's mentioned it. Brian May's guitar, the Red Special, which he used for the bulk of Queen's music, recorded or live, was one he and his father built together and finished in 1963. Part of it came from a recycled fireplace mantel.
Another great Queen song is “Sleeping on the Sidewalk.” It’s sung by Brian, and has an amazing Bluesy feel to it. It’s one of my personal favorite
Do an image search for "queen jazz album insert" or similar to see the poster we received with the album back in the day!
I'll drop it again. "Stevie ray vaughan voodoo child live in Tokyo".
Nick Rojas SRV coming soon he’s a big reason I wanted to do live shows next! 🔥🔥
@@alexfromandyandalex8032 great. I can't wait for the reaction video.
i think what i love most about this song is brian’s lead vocals during the chorus, i think it really perfects the song for me :,)
Janis Joplin “Ball and Chain” live at Monterey Pop is amazing. The video shows momma Cass (from the mamas and the papas) reaction and her jaw is literally on the floor.
This too: Janis Joplin - Work Me Lord (137,608+ views) Her ad libs at the end are so good.
Still waiting for Stone Cold Crazy.
I know you want to move on to live performances but please please please can you react to I want to break free? Both the music video and John's writing make this song one of my favourites and you WON'T regret it. All the boys look fab in drag!
Disappointed you aren't continuing with Queen Wednesdays though, that's what brings me to your channel every week.
Helena Hayward we absolutely can! We have no intention of stopping Queen videos, that wasn’t the impression we were trying to give, we just only get 3 days a week to record songs and want to be able to hit some of the great live stuff the community suggests, Queen is still more than liable to come up on a Friday, Monday, and some cases like next Wednesday on the live days 😊
@@alexfromandyandalex8032 great, thanks! That's really good to hear. I'll make sure to check out your other videos too (the non-Queen ones) ☺️
Thank you!
You guys are awesome, keep up the good content!!🤘
Saw them do this live at Madison Square Garden in 1980 during "The Game" tour, great get the crowd involved song. Great poster in the "Jazz" album which this song is off of.
Can't believe I forgot to mention David Bowie's "Moonage Daydream" from "Ziggy Stardust - the motion picture". Still has my all-time favorite guitar solo. I will convert you to being a Mick Ronson fan yet! :p
Ronnnooooooo
I’ve said it so many times but you guys owe it to yourselves to watch Save Me live at Montreal. If you are moving on a bit from Queen then this is definitely the one you want to sign off on.
We aren’t moving away from Queen it just is going to be less periodic so we can see some of the amazing live shows we’ve been suggested. Certainly not an end. It’s just difficult getting to all our suggestions with only 3 days available. We thought this change would still allow us to do Queen while being able to explore other bands and other live shows (Queen and otherwise) as well 😊
I just got done watching the live version at the bowl and so much more energy, but still a great song, none the less!
Now your doing live shows and as a senior citizen that went to these concerts, this is gonna bring back some cool memories. The drugs were insane back then and the women were epic. Looking forward to Wednesday
The growling sounds that Freddie makes the song more powerful. Brian is a mastermind, and he wrote this shit 😍😍 one of mye favourite songs by Queen and Jazz is also on of my favourite albums!
A lot of people are suggesting you "Stong cold crazy" live at the rainbow!!!! Do it
Best thing about Queen is that every song is completely different from every other. From Rockabilly to metal, even threw in a little disco. They could do it all and they rocked it. Freddie gets a ton of the attention, but there isn’t a slouch in that band. Every one of them was amazing. The only thing I don’t like about this song is that it can be one of those songs that gets in my head and won’t go away for days.
This song and album came out when I was in Jr. High. Then I saw the inside poster that came with the album. Heh heh. I'm just chuckling thinking of your reaction when you see it. Also the inside photo of their studio. A musician's dream come true. The album is "Jazz".
My favorite song on this album is the ballad "Jealousy".
Considered the greatest live concert ever - Stop Making Sense by Talking Heads.
Try “Life During Wartime” as your intro to them live...I think it’s on CZcams as Live in Los Angeles 83.
Great vids btw, so envious of your attendance at tool concert, they are coming to UK in June, can’t wait.
Alright, well done reaction guys-- and sometimes still please do I Want it All by Queen. Please! Official video-- good rock sounds! 1980's but the sound wont disappoint!
Trisha Bolton will do 😊
Thanks you!
You didn't disappoint.. great song. Great reaction! Now, I Want It All is a great "fake video" & the song will rock you!!!! Would so love to see you guys do this!!!!!!
Full version of song as heard on album has a longer guitar solo between first and second verse.
Please check "a winter tale" and "save me" from montreal.
Wait...did y'all do Stone Cold Crazy yet?
Ana Parada no we plan on it soon though! We want to hear the queen and the Metallica one, maybe a two for 1 reaction
@@alexfromandyandalex8032 That would be awesome!! I've heard both and can't wait to see you guys be blown away!!!
Thanks guys Love this song😊
