Hope you guys enjoyed the the first Live Show Wednesday! We had a blast checking this one out! Loved it much more than the studio, was brilliant here! Cheers friends! 😁
Please do White Man (album version)
Then check out Brighton Rock (Live In Budapest) from the same tour as this performance.
BUT DO WHITE MAN ALREADY !!!!!
(lol)
@Steven Nodlehs
We’ve done white Queen in studio and live at hammersmith!!! 😁😁
I would love you to the opening number at Queens 1976 Wembley concert- One Vision. Freddie entering the stage at the very beginning then they really go at it with One Vision. That entire concert was mind blowing.
Sharon Laplace Yes it sure was. I’ve watched the entire concert on CZcams several times. He was ill, but you sure can’t tell.
Hey glad you liked this version.! Whew!
“One Vision “ has been suggested frequently from this same Wembley concert and rocks as much or more. .Also, there is a funky take “Another One Bites the Dust” that is thoroughly enjoyable even though the song is played to death-the instrumentals are amazing. Thx
Why is nobody talking John's amazing, driving, pounding, relentless bassline???
Probably bc Freddy is such a mermorizing force of a showman, you forget that May and Deacon are phenomenal musicians in their own right
John should have slapped the bass like Davie504 in some song's. Then he'd be noticed by everyone
Everyone knows that his bass lines are killer. We just were being respectful and giving him space.
@@teran9 Nicely put, I think you are right!
Or Roger Taylor's vocals while banging out out a rhythm...incredibly difficult. Just a group of mad talented people
The bass drove that entire song down to your toes! GO DEAKIE!
Raw powerful performances, no playback crap no ear pieces. Pure straight in your face QUEEN 👑 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
The best front man ever.
Absolutely the 🐐
Nobody but NOBODY beats Queen live, they are absolutely fantastic! My absolute favourite will always be Wembley '86 though Montreal runs a very close second! Aren't they brilliant?!
Can't get better then Queen
You can pick any live version of Queen and it is amazing!
Queen has been my favorite band for almost 40 years. Like many, this song didn’t really click for me until I saw this performance of it.
I mean just the way he walks at the beginning you KNOW you're gonna be blown away
Finally guys!!! Live Queen is mind blowing, every song that you already love, you will discover it and fall in love all over again. It's Queen, it's a kind of magic.
Look at him! The voice, the confidence, the clothes, the strut! Theres nobody like Freddie. He commands the stage!
I really enjoy watching the younger generations discover and appreciate this man's incredible voice, this bands amazing talent...This is real music
I NEVER get tired of seeing this concert!
One of the truly great vocalists, in front of a great live band. Their set at Live Aid was unforgettable.
A Kind of Magic is an anthem of hope, delivered by the gods of live music.
Queen never disappoints. You will love Dragon Attack live at Montreal in 1981
India love ur channel. Pls react to A Kind of Magic live. Tu.☺
watch "laps of the gods" from live at the rainbow 74!
also "liar" from the same show
In the Lap of the Gods or the Revisited version?
@@logexpTommy just lap of the gods, it has roger's incredible falsetto :D
the revisited version is great too tho
lap of the gods 74 was like. divine blessing.
+1 on In the lap of the gods!
I've touched those actual trousers! Great song, live or studio.
Mike Buckley how?! the original worn by Freddie himself?
Rock_ it! The actual ones, I know the person that owns them, they have a small Queen collection, signed items, that sort of thing plus a few other bits.
Mike Buckley holy...! that person should open a Queen museum and be rich out of it!
You have just learned that the magic of Freddie is his live performances showcasing his songs as they were meant to be heard. An album could never fully capture the magic Freddie presented on stage.
Guys your faces are absolutely priceless!
The Miracle live it will blow your mind another great song from Queen
So glad you liked the live version so much more than the studio one. It’s brilliant. One of Rogers best songs done live.
The point is that there is no auto tune of any kind- Freddie’s voice IS MAGIC!!
I've never figured out how a drummer can have a foot and both hands operating independently of each other and actually sound good. Throw the vocals in too and I've got some mad respect for Roger.
Great solo from Brian. More live Queen please!
Save The Hedgehog!
Two words:
MILTON. KEYNES
1982, Freddie/Queen at their prime.
I just love that concert!!
so happy people are finding out how great that band and Freddie Mercury really was, so happy
It's so sad that this was their last tour (in 1986). Freddie was starting to tire more easily, which you can see at some parts of this show and occasionally hear in his voice (though it's still obviously amazing, he wasn't the same as previously) and had frequent colds/infections. He went to the doctor shortly after the end of this tour, the Magic Tour, and got his diagnosis in 1987. Who knows how many more legendary performances we could have gotten. :( Even though he wasn't at 100% here at Wembley, this concert is still one of his most iconic.
PLEASE....... Save me, Montreal ‘81! So glad “Magic was redeemed” I always loved it, but then I was in my mid teens in the ‘80’s, so its the soundtrack to my life!
Penny Sawyer Oh yes!
Me too. I still start to smile when I hear Magic.
YES! Save me.. live at Montreal -- I love how Brian starts out on piano, and then the transition when he goes to guitar and Freddie on keys... and we're all like "what??" - who saw that coming? :)
@@GinMae oh, i agree......nobody did see that coming......did they, and i'm an oldie queen fan....😊😊
@@elainebaldwin928 Oldie as me? I'm 59 - first saw them in 1977 - January -- :)
One vision from the same concert (their opening song) is amazing too!
Thank you! Freddie live is so magnificent. All of Wembley '86 is so good.😀❤️❤️
Two more suggestion for Queen life performances:
1. WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER at Wembley Stadium 1986 (the same concert of A Kind Of Magic))
2. IN THE LAP OF THE GODS, live at the Rainbow 1974
Freddie and his mates' voiced blended together are absolutely mind blowing.... without mentioning their instruments....
Redemption!!!!! I LOVE your mesmerized faces! His voice, those drums, those guitars can literally can put a spell on you! Thank you
The Magic Tour was the first where Freddie didn't have to drag the cord to his mic around, the stage was huge and he rocked every inch of it.
If you're looking for another glorious performance, do "Take my breath away" Hyde Park 1976. It's Freddie's voice and him playing the piano for a powerfully emotional rendition of this great song.
No one can beat Freddie/Queen live 🔥🔥
I saw the "News of the World" tour ..... there were / are better bands live. For instance ,Pearl Jam was a better show. .
I've only ever seen 1 other front man who got close to Freddie (who I saw in 1986 at Maine Road, Manchester) and that was Michael Hutchins of INXS. Again, no pro tools or auto-tune in 1991, but have a look at this and see what you think.
czcams.com/video/y_iNyqf-HTE/video.html
Gary Porter and they’re both gone 😢
Freddie was awesome
@Gary Porter Michael Hutchins was pretty awesome as well
SEE!!!!😘
Sprend your wings Queen live great song
I love that you mentioned that one visual moment of Brian...the mist/smoke actually lingered in that magnificent hair as it passed over him. And yes, it looked a little like a kind of magic...which is appropriate because that's exactly what they were.💙
P.S. Hey, Alex...John redeems his 80's look by taking off his jacket, changing into short shorts, and wearing 3 different shirts (a wild green one, a Scandal one, and a t-shirt that looks like Brian in the 'I Want to Break Free' video. Freddie, of course, ends up with no shirt at all (always love that!!)😂❤️❤️
Awesome! I'm a happy nut 😍 Watching you guys getting more and more drawn into the performance as it went on spoke volumes. 😁👍 And you're right, that bass line pump through your veins and just gives you LIFE! 💓
I think you two should just pick up Queen Live at Wembley on DVD for yourselves. And The Hungarian Rhapsody in Budapest. And of course, Queen Rock Montreal (and Live Aid). Give in to the peer pressure. You need these DVDs in your life.
Kathleen You so do!
@@patmcnair2784 - I trust you're agreeing with me that A&A need them, as I already own them. :-)
Kathleen Yep! Couldn't agree more, nobody rocks live better than Freddie & Queen!
And Queen on Fire Live at the Bowl, Live at the Rainbow and A Night at the Odeon
Totally-
One Vision is a must. Live at Wembley, after that check out the one vision documentary showing the writing and recording of it.
Colin Steward Agree and Wembley concert version even has some dueling guitar action between Brian and John.
Totally agree!
juliact Me too!!
Budapest was better
I'm glad the live performance redeemed the song for you.
Best live audience reaction to queen might be Queen Live in Rio.
Try it to get stunned by this great audience. Keep on guy.
Specially Love of my Life
Live in Rio was that crazy over 120,000 people there. Queen was really pumped up!! Their awesome stadium tour. I saw some of it on CZcams and was amazed.
Such a perfect foursome!!
I'm just going to write the same comment again and again until you see the concert 😁😂 A night at the Odeon, Hammersmith 1975. In the lap of the gods revisited and White queen 💓 👑
I LOVE watching you guys watching Queen!! You’re both absolutely adorable! ❤️
Remember... it’s the MAGIC TOUR!! ✨🧞♂️🔮🎩 So happy about opening your Live Wednesdays with a Queen live!!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That Brian May solo should go on for ever! This track was always better live, others better on the studio version. PLEASEsover the rock n roll medley from the Wembley concert - it just gets better and better, and the ending is PHENOMENAL!
One Vision is an absolute MUST live Andy and Alex ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Now I'm Here at a Night at the Odeon Hammersmith 1975, particularly the opening section
Benjamin Clarkson yeah thats a cool one.
And it has a super cool solo
Should have watched the Saturday night version guys and you would have given it a 10. They used the Friday show as a test run for the cameras. The Saturday show was filmed beautifully and Brian was on another level.
I noticed that Brian is wearing a wireless pack here plugged into the RS, but not long after this song he switches out to a cable straight to the amps, and didn't bother with the wireless pack on Saturday. He may have been having sound problems, I guess.
Saturday is by far the best night - they were so amazing that night.
Queen just turned what I consider an OK song into an incredible performance because each one of their bandmembers are freaking geniuses!! I’m a huge Queen fan & this is my least favorite song by the band but I love this performance!!! ❤️❤️❤️ it wasn’t just Freddie Mercury , but The drummer was killing it and Brian May & John Deacon on the guitars and bass, just put this song out there and blew it away!!! Awesome!!!
Love this reaction, one of my favorites! Talking about Freddie walking across the stage at the beginning, you need to see what led up to that!! And as good as it was I'm sure they cracked the glass!!!!
His voice is the music!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never anyone like them before, and never anyone after.
I didn't really understand that comment? Maybe me being a bit stupid LOL 🇬🇧👍😘 x
@@Jess_uk. Never before and never after. About Queen.
@@karend169 sorry lol I understand now, maybe you should add Queen in the/your comment, my stupid mistake 😊 all the best bud 🇬🇧👍😘 x
Yeah super duper agree...luv that..one and only...
I recommend any song from the Hammersmith Odeon performance in 1975 but particularly Ogre Battle or Seven Seas of Rhye. Also, the Hyde Park performance of You Take My Breath Away. It is just Freddie and the piano. So beautiful. He takes my breath away!
Ana Monroe He does mine too!
🙋🏾♀️ Ana Monroe...You Take My Breath Away had gotta be the most haunting live song ever...I like both live versions BUT the studio version is unmatched with the harmonies just like Love of My Life with the harp. Though I do prefer the latter live because it had become a Ballard the crowd sings with and sometimes to Freddie 🤗.
Nobody beats queen live freddie is an amazing performer his voice is magic.
So happy you both took the time to watch this played live. Very different than just on a disc. Freddie and the boys just give it their all. Freddie can blast a roof of a building with his power-singing and the instrumentals rocked. Thanks for sharing!
Also Freddie had a cold when he did this Wembley performance but is voice is still phenomenal!!
Emma Hayward I know, isn’t it amazing? His Dr told him not to do Live Aid because of a nasty throat infection. Listening to that you would never guess he had a bad throat!!!!! He was just amazing.
@@mmaloneym yeah he was! No cold or sore throat would stop Freddie singing 😂
urban legends, not true
He had laryngitis at Live Aid!
@@roverwaters3875 he actually caught a cold in the first night of wembley it's more evident in the second night
They were all so good. Freddie, best front man ever. Enough said.
Ah....!! You're back on a Wednesday with Queen already! Brilliant!! This track live is awesome, Deacon's bass, the whole thing, awesome!!
Glad you appreciated it in it's rawest form! \m/
Hi guys Its A Kind Of Magic is a classic live and I like the studio version as well but live it is fantastic glad you gave it a second chance 9 rating for me .
Remember guys this was written for the movie Highlander I think.
Freddie nails it live.
Stay lucky stay safe Mike UK.
Yep re: Highlander - here's the Highlander version with clips of the movie: czcams.com/video/ASw32qKppMw/video.html
I saw Queen that same summer in Manchester. Amazing. I am so blessed that I saw them :)
Thanks for continuing to do Queen songs :)
Please do the live version of Son and Daughter from Golders Green hippodrome.
I always loved the way Brian May could play both rhythm & lead guitar so smoothly. You would think that there are two separate guitar players in the band. Only the best guitar players are able to do that.
Glad you took our recommendations!
As always, a great reaction. Andy if Brian is your favorite member of the band you have to check out Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow 1974.
Don Scofield I’m dying to get them react to it! It’s an amazing performance in the early 70s bet it’s revolutionary for other metal bands!
If Brian is his favorite member he should check the Saturday performance
Boston Don’t look back official music video. It’s totally live and totally amazing! I know you love Boston, and this is just a small piece of Brad Delp at his best! Or Party live! Amazing singer. And the bass player is a joy to watch, when you get to see him. So much energy!
Definitely need to listen to You Take My Breath Away.
Love you guys! Definitely "Now I'm Here" (Live at Wembley) Roger stated it was one of the most physically demanding tracks to play live. Awesome energy and performance. Love John's baseline also, and Brian, well what can you say "his guitar just sings".
If you can find the Saturday video (this is from the "practice run" Friday concert) you get to see more of the performance, and it is a slightly better version of the song. But good on your guys for going live with this stuff. This is where Queen take it up a notch :)
they always manage to screw up and react to the Friday performances, these reactors....
@@roverwaters3875 to be fair to them, it isn't helped by the fact that often times CZcams has the Friday performances above the Saturday ones (certainly for AKOM it did when I searched yesterday) and, if it's a true "FIRST REACTION", then I guess the knowledge of the Friday vs Saturday performance would be non-existent. But yeah, hope that the guys know from now on as the Saturday performance is professionally shot, gives a much better feel for the concert and the band definitely upped their game for the Saturday, particularly Brian.
the Yellow jacguette concert at Wembley They showed what rockmusic is about with the killing Brian May on the redspecial and the base ofDeacy and the singing in harmonious perfection nice vid again you guys
From time to time I watch this entire concert instead of a movie. Once I start it I can't stop. Maybe it's too long to react to, but you'll love it if you watch it. The were as good as they ever were in '86.
PLUS: you should watch the movie HIGHLANDER 1: it has 5 songs of this album in its soundtrack, most impressive for me: GIMME THE PRIZE.
So happy you loved this version 😀😀
This is one of my Favorites, so much better then the Official Video by far!!!
Great vid guys. That particular version is from the first night of 2 nights at Wembley. The video footage was test footage ahead of the main filming the next day. If you watch that version (which is what ends up on the Wembley dvd), you'd see a lot more of the crowd, the stage, band etc and get a much better experience of the song. Plus Brian is killer on night two. But great show all the same. 😊
Hey guys! I stumbled on you a few months ago, and have worked my way through your Queen vids. I am a 72-yr oils grammy, who just delights in watching you discover what I have been listening to many long years! I just saw them live in Houston last month. Thank you!
@Andy & Alex
Thanks for the many ❤ you sent me for my comments, I have quite a veritable collection by now just from you guys ! While I really appreciate your....um....appreciation ! , I think you know by now what I would like more than a personal visit from THE Queen.....one of your enthusiastic reviews of THAT Queen who we all love, larking about playing and singing....(here it comes again !)..."Headlong" !!!! (I bet you didn't see that coming either ?). Here's a ❤ from me to you both !
@SNP1999
❤️❤️❤️😁😁
Don't abandon the Queen album tracks (even if you have to skip about a bit with the video/audio) as we are all wanting more album and live reactions - and check out White Man already !!!
Double header, album track and live on the same reaction
I'll say it again...STONE COLD CRAZYYYYY
I love Queen LIVE way more than the studio versions of most of their songs. The Montreal Live version of Somebody to Love .....sigh....
We need "Under pressure live at Wembley" , also "One Vision". I'm saying this for your own good, you know...
eLMagnifico yes! I love those
Saturday versions though, not Friday.
@@joannasalazar7619 thanks for supporting me, I have a few more :D
eLMagnifico you’re welcome
Also Another One Bites the Dustb
Awesome!
Definitely recommend Queen - Tie Your Mother Down live at Wembley, also recommend checking out the studio version.
on Saturday...
One of my favorite songs released from the band was in 1989 “ I want it all” & this song came about by Anita Dobson, Brian May’s wife, Who said that following a concert. It is an awesome song!! Awesome vocals and awesome rock and this big powerhouse vocal from Freddy and the rest of the band.
Freddie could sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Live and it would be Captivating !
They were all brilliant in their own field but absolutely bloody brilliant as a band.
This song you are exactly right it's all 4 of them bringing it, hard! That is the iconic statue performance. ♥️
The best of the best, amazing, unbelievable, Queen is special. Thank you for your great reaction!❗💜
The whole concert is just as magical, listen to "Another One Bites The Dust".
That performance was a kind of magic great video guys 😀❤
You gotta check out Under Pressure from the same show. Also Dire Straits, Telegraph Road aLCHEMY Tour Live.
We will rock you at Wembley is legit jaw dropping
Hiya both and thanks for continuing to play Queen. It’s great to watch your enthusiasm and appreciation of them and heart-warming that so many still love Queen.
Queen was always so good live. This is one of my favorite concerts; everything is so good. How about reacting to Save Me, Live at Montreal. It features Brian on piano and a beautiful guitar. Another older one I would love you guys to react to is Son and Daughter, Live at the Rainbow, back to their heavy metal sound.
Thank you for recognizing John Deacon!
He’s the dark horse of the band, Queen’s secret weapon as they said...Great reaction!
Vote for Queen
